"Listen to the 'hearts' of others and smile with your own".

~ Mary Ellen Peters ~

IMG 2160 Heart
A heart symbol at Tara Queensland.
TARA is a female Buddha in Buddhism and a goddess in Hinduism. Additionally, "Tara" is also a common male or female name meaning "star".    A Tiara ...  the princess adornment is symbolic of this consciousness.   Donning the tiaras (crown)  Queens and Kings have imitated divinity since the beginning, fooling many with the illusion.

The Heart ...   this is such a powerful generating force of energy.  The heart is the other half of our brain.  When a soul has these two working together (brain and heart), this automatically brings about a higher likelihood of  balance in all things the soul participates with.

The Uluru heart is something I actually expected to find.  Before going I was aware of the absolute sacred nature of this country and I knew I would see a magnificent heart there...  and I did.  I was beside myself with excitement when I first gazed upon this archetypal image impressed there for thousands and thousands of years from the past.

"In the depth of winter I finally learned that within me lay an invincible Summer".

~ Albert Camus ~

IMG 5742
Urunga where it really is an invincible summer.

I love this planet Earth.  All of Earth is beautiful.  All of this land here in Australia is beautiful and no matter where my feet stand I am standing on sacred ground.

I have been blessed to be with the people who have lived here forever while in this area and especially this tiny paradise - Uncle Tom's Urunga and count those guys as my closest friends.

We journeyed together and laughed and cried together and shared our stories  and our love and buried people we loved but together we explored this exciting prospect I called understanding it.  I am talking about my friend Suzi Kelly.  Shes a local girl from here, her father was Uncle Tom's brother.

So far in all of these years Suzi and I have had an enormous journey of time together notched up watching each others children grow and break our hearts and make us proud.

We took Uncle on the journey of his life together and we bonded forever in an experience that was sent from the heart of the ancestral spirits themselves.  Heaven and Earth moved and we three flew to Uluru together.    I am still smiling about it.   Suzi and I look forward to the time we can retrace those steps together again in the future on the anniversary of when we went last time.

Uncle passed over last year.   He was a month from turning 90 years old.  Uncle Tom was and will always be to me the grandest old blackfellah I ever knew.   We all miss him.

Inner peace begins at the moment you choose not to allow another person or event control your emotions.

079 Uluru
I chose to make the journey regardless of what others thought and I was well pleased with the decision.
This is known as the act of polarizing oneself to a point and not allowing circumstances or situations sway you from that point.  In the Kybalion this refers to what is the "Laws of Correspondence" and the "Laws of Rhythm".
"Inner Peace" -  Peace on the inside of ourselves begins at the moment you choose not to allow another person (mask) which equates to a false or fake person or a particular event that occurs in our life control our emotional outcomes.

SAM 7542 - Old men seeing Uluru
Uncle Tom and his old mate yarnin up at Uluru
Uncle Tom and this other old chap [pictured] whom he met, got along like a house on fire.  Both men were making the journey to one of the most sacred places on Earth - That is most obviously "Uluru".  To get here had been the dreams of both of these gentlemen they both said they wished to go there before they died.  This was humorous in a sad way.

They cracked jokes and encouraged each other in the heat.  Both men were in their late eighties and so it wasn't an easy task to get around such a large sprawling desert when your that age.

Sadly Uncle Tom has passed now, and I wonder if this chap is still keeping him company yarnin up about the great trip they had to the centre of Australia?

People need to make it their business to understand what they are really walking on and not take this for granted at all.  I had to understand this and when I understood my part under the pitch black sky then I realized the connection and it was overwhelming to me.

At some stage in these numb entities stages of spirit, they will have to face this and its better sooner than later.  Do you really think all this is random?

"Never be ashamed of a scar. It means you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you."

~ Unknown  ~

IMG 9940 Uluru Dreaming 2012
Uluru
The 'Scar' is a metaphor for your past.   The past with all of its joys and its tumultuous messes leaves a mark upon our psyche.  It is these scar like marks that remind us where we came from and not to forget the lessons that we learned to get where we are today.

In ancient times they Scarred the body in ceremony for just the same reason,  to remember who you are and to act from this place of absolute power.

As a humanity largely we have become weak and apathetic.  Everyone seeking to hide their scars.  Don't hide them.  Get them out on show because this was your amazing journey of learning and there is nothing to be ashamed of whence one keeps learning.

I am in the Southern Hemisphere of our beautiful planet and so it is that I say Happy Winter Solstice".  Welcome to the returning sun.  This is a very powerful time..  Christmas you could say astrologically speaking.  Its our Christmas or our time to honor the symbol of life and energy never stopping by using a pine tree that is evergreen to do this.

The last few months have been fairly difficult staying balanced with the world circumstances as they are but now Jupiter is  moving out of Gemini and into Cancer.   This is a time of really looking at stuff, there could be an opportunity to move ahead by being still.  It is entirely possible.  I have longed for certain things so desperately so If I let go the universal law says it will come back to me then.  It is time for this now.

Mind, Body and Spirit - The connection to top all connections.
We are connected to each other by our higher consciousness.  This is more than being connected on a physical level.  It is a connection in a different dimension, it is the thought realm.  Nothing occurs without a thought occurring first.   Thoughts connect with other thoughts and this along with sound resonance can re harmonize us.

It is through the feeling of being vulnerable that you become vulnerable in the physical.  Likewise if  you choose to speak of happiness then happiness follows.  We create our own individual reality.

080080 (Photo credit: Images @ Melonpopzdropz)Thoughts emit a frequency. This frequency was evident here.  I could hear the singing / I could sing along.  I heard Vince in the singing before he was behind me.  I could feel a spirit man close by.  When he touched me on the arm at the checkout in the Yulara IGA, I was emotionally touched in my spirit and we both saw and felt this.  The old people were talking to me and I felt like a spiritual egg.  I felt like I was amongst the most ancient mothers and fathers and they were holding my spirit up.  I felt this with a major connection with the aunties and the nannas and the deadly sisters,  mainly with one of the sisters the connection was so strong we were in another place for sometime and it was the most succinct feeling of connection and I could feel her spirit in mine and she was so old.  I was shocked standing nearby to a special place and I heard it.  It smelled of home too, but that's another thing.

We had many other moving experiences while we were where the universe had us in perfect timing.  It has such significance.  A universe that  arranged  for us girls both from the little town of Urunga  to go all the way out to Uluru.   Such awesome perfection in the spirit world

I have allowed the Unknown to affect me - Meditation

The meditative state is a state that used to have a law on me entering.  I found it very difficult to be able to  still my mind to a point where nothing was going on.  The more I tried the harder it was.  I was being in a state of trying and this is not meditation. So I gave up.

IMG_2065

I gave up for a long long time.  I even tried substances to take me to that place of where ever I felt I needed to be.  The substances worked for a tiny while.  I became bored with that and at a young age. There was one other time I felt myself rise to that level.  This was  when I gave birth to my son, my first child.  I was in that same state for some six hours post the birth of this child.  I felt the energy rise up my spine like someone was shooting a fire hose of warm water up the length of my back and into my head and then spilling all over me.  I felt like I could run up Mt Everest I was so enlivened by this energy inside of my body.  This was the Kundalini.  which is most certainly present during the birth process.  I would love to know more about this now also.

My life has now been long and off and on through out my life I have participated in other various meditations but it was always a similar outcome.  My bones would get itchy and restless.  I wanted to flex and fight this feeling.  Its a funny sensation to feel this in your body.

I wanted to still my mind.  I wanted the healing that comes with this stilling.  I didn't give up!  So I think this is half the key.  Don't ever give up completely.  Walk away and take a break but don't give up.  I finally found a way

I  understand the concept of seeing yourself in your own minds eye.  This is where I started and I only did this for very short periods.  But I found this even a challenge.  To really close my eyes and visualize myself looking at myself.   Finally.... success.  Finally, I was able to do this.  I commenced this after sun gazing each day and found that I could communicate with the animals while in this state of consciousness.  Not talk like we talk.  It was a mind thing where I was impressing on their brain my thoughts.  Interesting as sometimes this worked well, especially with the dog and her behavior.   If winter was not here, and the dog tucked in her bed, we may be a little further along with that.  She doesn't want to get out in the cold though but summer is coming, so there will be time again to do this with her in the  future.

I felt great changes occur inside of me almost the same week I commenced this.  Like my brain was opening up and sucking in stuff like a vacuum cleaner like manner.  The answers to an array of questions I have carried around for years came in the space of a week.  My body was buzzing.

I really felt like I was being switched on.  Then, out of the blue I was overwhelmed with the urge to go paint.  I scoured the cupboards for old paints I used with the kids, I found them and they were all dried up.  Good, I thought, more rubbish to loose.  Next morning I went down to the shops and bought a cheap set of Oil Paints  and started to paint.  I painted for 48 hours with a 6 hour break non stop.  I was compelled to paint these blessed things.  They were my tin can lids I had lovingly prepared for some decoration but nothing on the scale of what I actually painted.  These are earmarked for my Canowind Chimes inventions.

Brice fed me cuppas and I stayed fairly silent.  Stopping for light conversation only with my partner during this time.  He was fascinated also.  He knows I am not a painter of art.  I love art but I have not really ever considered myself capable of painting very much at all.  I was more of a house painter.

Some of the questions answered were regarding the civilization I heard of in the Pacific that is now mostly on the bottom of the ocean.  These were things I was questioning.  The Easter Island statues,  Coconut water, Mangoes.  A wonderful woman named Beverley pointed me in the right direction.  People were there when I needed them in perfect timing. I had now  read the Ancient books of Mu by James Churchward.

There was so much information and many beautiful diagrams of what he wrote about what he had seen and had interpreted by the Rishi Priest.  Then it started, my mind was all but saying to me, "Come on lets paint".  Like a David Bowie song lyric, Lets Dance.  It was echoing in my head to do this.  AMAZING.  The results even amazed me.  24 beautiful discs all decorated in the most intricate and ancient designs and each one echoing the glyphs from the cuneiform tablets found in temples that told the stories of Lemuria.

I felt myself falling into the well of ancient love.  I could feel this was really healthful.  It was peaceful as I sat and brushed so delicately and precisely the lines and the dots.  The beginning was highlighted with much dot work like I had recently witnessed at Uluru in Central Australia.  The dots seem to morph onto straight and precise patterns and lines with feeling.

IMG 2602 Frizzbee anyone?
The artists impressions in meditation

What I can report of myself after this occurred is a much greater sense of awareness and a feeling of warmth emanating from me.  I stood barefoot on the cool winter ground bare foot and my feet were not cold.  It is Winter and I was fine, and that is unusual as I am the one who clings to any warmth, commonly known as the heat leech.   I fully feel the change is now in full swing.  The meditation, the suns beams, my pineal gland is like swelling in my head sometimes.  This could be the reason for the strange headaches too.

Exerpts from Osho
Osho („Rajneesh“ Chandra Mohan Jain)One day, suddenly, you will find a window opens, and a fresh breeze with new rays has filled your heart. Again, don’t commit the same mistake! Be thankful for what is happening, but don’t ask for more — and more will be coming. Don’t ask, “Come again” — your asking will become the barrier.
It will come again, it will come more often. Slowly, slowly it becomes your heartbeat; waking, sleeping, it is always there, it never goes. But it is not your doing. You cannot brag that “I have done it.” You can only say, “I have allowed the unknown to do it to me.” It is always from the unknown that great experiences enter into our small hearts, and when we are trying hard to get them, we become so tense that the very tension prevents them.
I have allowed the unknown to do this to me.  Yes and I knew it was all absolutely fine.  It was as though I was feeling the plasma falling around me and soaking in the crevices of my body.  That is how warm it was and what I was feeling.  I shall not push. I will wait.

For the record .. You must say this out loud to believe it and say it with an Indian Accent so it means something.

" Religion is a bondage.  It keeps you unaware of your unawareness."

I can still see the sun setting over Kata Tjuta

"Be what you be in all that you are".   ~ Angus Stone ~

I can still see the shadows falling. I can feel the people and the ancient calling. I can smell the land when I look at this. I want to know more about the art.

I came home weaving grass and painting. The weaving is on Montana's bed and the paintings are on the window sill. I think they are beautiful. They too tell a story.

Here is a few great facts about weaving grasses.  I am super interested in doing this craft and so I am  putting out there so that the right person comes my way to teach me this craft.

Most fibrework is made from coiling, twining and looping. In South Australia, the Ngarrindjeri people of the Murray River and Coorong regions never lost their basic fibre techniques despite their experiences of colonization. The coiling of rushes into baskets was then passed onto women of Goulbourn and Croker Islands through missionary activities. This technique soon spread across Arnhem Land.
In Arnhem Land, fibrework and containers is associated very closely with major Dreaming stories. Weaving baskets and bags helps define the knowledge and status of women in communities as women have to earn the right to that knowledge.

In south-eastern coastal communities, Aboriginal women's basket work has benefited from a significant amount of knowledge being sourced, collected and passed back to them. Highly regarded basket makers, women from Lake Tyers, Victoria, and the Coorang, South Australia, have demonstrated methods of collecting materials and different weaving techniques which they shared with the women of the south-eastern coast of New South Wales. Basket making for the south coastal women revives and continues a tradition of women's work.

Those who lose Dreaming are lost . . . . Australian Aboriginal proverb

"We live off the crumbs that fall off the White Australian tables and are told to be grateful."

IMG 9431 - Dpwn at Uluru

It is very beautiful that the photograph I took of Uncle Tom and Suzie at Uluru was in the newspaper this week during NAIDOC week.  Naidoc is a celebration of Indigenous culture in Australia.  I think we need to change a lot of things and I want to work with more indigenous to effect good change to never ever lose the dreaming totally.  This is the most paramount .. there is nothing more important in this country.

When our government and politicians understand this the country will finally be on track.  The housing they put ppl in at Uluru was outrageous and this country should be ashamed.

Going to Uluru was the most amazing place to visit and it will impact me what happened for the rest of my life and I am different because of this.  Now I understand my white skin and my indigenous heart.  I understand we are all brothers and sisters and we are all just here now.  That is not going to change.  I cannot understand why we are not holding up the black man of this country to the highest esteem.  Why would any one sensible want to breed out such original and beautiful people from the planet escapes me and I get very very sad.

Sunshine all the time makes a desert.

~ Arab Proverb ~

IMG_0078
Austin at Uluru
Every day we are faced with taking the good with the bad.  The bitter with the sweet.  The hot with the cold and the toil with the rest.  Everything you're eye can see is in a state of constant change.  If you want things to stay the same you are fighting the very laws of nature and the  universe.  All things have a season.  Even us!  We have many seasons during our average lifetimes.

The season I am in is like a constant summer at the moment. I am feeling glorious in the thought that I am very necessary on this planet to effect if only those closest to me.  I have a purpose to love and to bring joy my children and fellow man and my love Brice.

Brice makes it all so worth while when things do look dim.  He is the balance that is required to make my spirit bounce the other way when its getting low.  A battery re charge of love.  Love being the highest vibration in this dimension.

Love  is the notes of the scale of music.  Sing them to yourself and feel the vibration and where it is in your body.  This does work to help heal your own vibrational frequency.

Tjukurpa panya tjamulu, kamilu, mamalu, ngunytjulu nganana ungu, ku runpangka munu katangka kanyintjaku' - Pitjantjatjara

IMG_9988 Uluru Dreaming 2012 by Images @ Melonpopzdropz
Have you ever felt walked all over or used.and not cared about?  I suppose this is how Uluru feels when people who enter the hallowed invisible lines and trespass on into spiritual and sacred spaces.  I don't understand it when people don't heed the warnings.  The curse that seems to befall some who climb the rock is very real.  More so it is real for the ones who secretly take  a piece of Uluru home with them in their luggage.
At the cultural centre located at the rock is a book called simply. "The Sorry Book".  This has been reprinted again now as still letters flow in from everywhere across the world.   Together  with the letter accompanies small pebbles or dirt or a piece of the rock itself in a desperate attempt to return Uluru and to have what ever has been happening to these folk and or their families all back home cease.  At Kata Juta National Park this returns policy is taken very seriously and the parts mailed back to the rock are replaced back to where they came from originally.

The Anangu people have Tjukurpa.  This is a spiritual link that flows through everything.  Every grain of sand has Tjukurpa.  Tjukurpa is everywhere and everything.

'Tjukurpa panya tjamulu, kamilu, mamalu, ngunytjulu nganana ungu, ku runpangka munu katangka kanyintjaku' - Pitjantjatjara
'This Law was given to us by our grandfathers and grandmothers, our fathers and mothers, to hold onto in our heads and in our hearts.'

What is Tjukurpa?

Tjukurpa is the foundation of Anangu life and society. Tjukurpa refers to the creation period when ancestral beings, Tjukaritja, created the world as we know it, and from this the religion, Law and moral systems. 'Dreamtime' or 'Dreaming' is often used to describe the way we and other Indigenous Australians see our origins. This translation suggests the beliefs are unreal. Tjukurpa is no dream, and there is no such word as 'Dreamtime' in Anangu languages.

The creation period

Prior to creation the world was featureless and none of the places existed until our Tjukurpa ancestors, in the form of people, plants and animals, traveled widely across the land. The adventures and battles of the ancestors formed the world as we know it today. Our land is inhabited by dozens of ancestral beings. Their journeys and activities are recorded at sites linked by iwara (paths or tracks) and iwara link places that are sometimes hundreds of kilometres outside the park and beyond Pitjantjatjara country.
The Mala Tjukurpa, for example, involves three groups of mala (rufous hare-wallaby people) who travel from the north to reach Uluru. Two groups then fled south and southeast to sites in South Australia. Kuniya Tjukurpa involves the travels of the woma python from the east. Many other Tjukurpa such as kalaya (emu), liru (poisonous snake), lungkata (blue tongue lizard), luunpa (kingfisher) and tjintirtjintirpa (willie wagtail) travel through the park.

Anangu land is mapped through the events of Tjukurpa and is therefore full of meaning. Tjukurpa is the basis of all Anangu knowledge. Where you are born, where you live and where you die are of great significance to Anangu. When Anangu travel across the land we do so with the knowledge of the ancestral beings. Knowledge of the land, and the behaviour and distribution of plants and animals is based on knowledge of Tjukurpa.  Anangu recount, maintain and pass on this knowledge through ceremony, song, dance and art.

Passing on Tjukurpa

Tjukurpa is not written down, but memorised. It is a cultural obligation to pass on this knowledge to the right people. Ceremonies play an important role in the passing on of knowledge. Specific people or groups in the kinship system have responsibilities to maintain different sections or 'chapters' of Tjukurpa. These chapters may relate to a specific site, or a section of an iwara (ancestral path) and this knowledge is carefully passed on to people who have inherited the right to that knowledge either through their birthplace, or through having earned the right by progressive attendance at ceremonies.
Tjukurpa is taught and remembered through specific verses of inma (songs), site related stories, ritual dances or rock art.

0084 - Nana
Nana doin Inma
The iwara (ancestral paths) are recalled in long sequential lists of sites, sometimes including sites beyond country which have been visited, and including sites belonging to other people. Tjukurpa may also be recorded in physical forms such as ritual objects and some objects are created for a specific ritual and then destroyed, others are very old and passed on from one generation to the next. These objects are extremely important, and knowledge of their form and existence is highly restricted. They are not discussed in front of children and may be specifically restricted to men or women.
Tjukurpa is also recorded in various designs and paintings, such as the 'dot' paintings of the Western Desert Region. Designs are often sacred and their use may be restricted to specific groups or individuals. Some sounds are associated with particular Tjukurpa, for example the sound of the bullroarer is associated with sacred men's ceremonies. It is for this reason that Anangu don't want bullroarer objects sold to tourists. Tjukurpa is extremely important to Anangu and learning deeper levels of knowledge means a deeper level of cultural responsibility. Therefore some Tjukurpa information is restricted to certain authorised individuals.
Law
Tjukurpa establishes the rules we use to govern society and manage the land. It dictates correct procedures for dealing with problems, and penalties for breaking the Law. The proper way of doing things is the way things are done in Tjukurpa. Since the coming of non-Aboriginal people,  some of the penalties under traditional Law  have had to be modified. They have also adapted non-Aboriginal law to help enforce Tjukurpa. Sacred sites are protected under Commonwealth and Northern Territory legislation and hunting and foraging rights are protected under the legislation and lease agreement with Parks Australia. The Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park Plan of Management protects Tjukurpa by using it as a guide for making management and policy decisions.
So now you should have a total working knowledge of what Tjukurpa is. ( pron. CHOOK ER PAH)  The coming of the white man to their country must have shocked the veritable socks from these people who had never seen anyone with skin that colour.  Tjurkurpa is now modified to be able to include the white fellah influence all around and it is wonderful the the Commonwealth has the respect enough for these people to use the Tjukurpa in management decisions affecting the running of the Kata Juta National Park areas in both areas ( Uluru and the Olga's)

This little bird finally flew home to Urunga

Now to come home and digest where I have been and the fact that I have flown in the air further than I have ever flown before.  A total of 8 hours in the air.  I even flew over South Australia.

I was very wise about the entire flying thing.  I purchased Codral Cold and Flu pills and dosed myself with those to take any swelling out of my ears for the flights and this was very effective on all of the legs of the journey.  The smaller flights played more havoc with my ears than did the longer flight from Sydney to Uluru.
