As i wrote the word despair this song came on the radio and it was like an instant connection, I also do like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs as well and so I decided to blog the lyrics as well as the youtube link.
Despair from the Mosquito album
Don't despair, you're there
From beginning to middle to end
Don't despair, you're there
Through my wasted days
You're there through my wasted nights
Oh despair, you've always been there
You were there through my wasted years
Through all my lonely fears, no tears
Run through my fingers, tears
They're stinging my eyes, no tears
If it's all in my head there's nothing to fear
Nothing to fear inside
Through the darkness and the light
Some sun has got to rise [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsty.com/yeah-yeah-yeahs-despair-lyrics.html ]
My sun is your sun
Your sun is our sun
Oh despair, you were there through my wasted days
You're there through my wasted nights
You're there through my wasted years
You're there through my wasted life
You've always been there
You were there through my wasted years
Through all of my lonely fears
Run through my fingers, tears
They're stinging my eyes, no tears
We're all on the edge, there's nothing to fear
Nothing to fear inside
Through the darkness and the light
Some sun has got to rise

There is no doubts that as we journey through life there are many painful twists and turns to negotiate. I learned a long long time ago to not run and hide but to face up and tell them to bring it on. This is the result of being a "government kid".
If they didn't want me to think this way then why did they allow so many people to abuse so many young people that had no recourse. I witnessed this and was subject to this myself and I will never trust them. How is this possible. I must not throw my pearls in front of slimy swine.

Augustine "Og" Mandino II was an American author. He wrote the
bestselling book The Greatest Salesman in the World. His books have sold
over 50 million copies and have been translated into over twenty-five
different languages. He was born in 1923 and he died in 1996.
"The
Greatest Salesman in the World" is a book that
serves as a guide to a philosophy of salesmanship, and success, telling
the story of Hafid, a poor camel boy who achieves a life of abundance.
Hafid - The main character
Hafid is in a sad state, mourning the loss of his wife, Lisha. The story
starts years into Hafid’s seclusion, when a dream convinces him to see a
stranger that turns up on his doorstep and pulls Hafid out of
retirement to embarke on a new adventure: a speaking tour to enlighten
others and including one of his greatest admirers, Patricio-about the
principles enclosed in The Ten Scroll. I read this book in the 1980's spurred on by others who had gleaned some success in their lives after having taken some of Og's principals into their lives.
