Happy Birthday Aunty Kay

Not just a year older, but a year better.

To One of the most special woman in the entire world.  Kay.. she is like a mum to me and a sister and all of it all rolled into one.  She loves my children as thought they were her own.

Today is her birthday and we wish her well.  We also wish the calendar we had sent to her had made it in time for her birthday.

It came back in the mail last week and I had to go and re post the parcel but it was one day late to get it there for Fridays mail.  I should have photographed it when it came back to me.  I thought about this after I posted it and so I never did it.  Umm hope I don't regret this.

'Corn is sacred, everything that grows is sacred,' she said.

'But I warn you, there will come a time when the sons of your sons will forget this. Then hunger and sorrow will return to the world.' She shook her head. 'It will not end until - unless - their grandchildren learn once more this lesson - the only lesson that is worth remembering: how to love and respect the Earth.'

IMG 4779.5 Lettuce Flowers

Everything is connected to everything else and the bees are so important for the regeneration of our plants all over the world.  I took this pic yesterday when I was out in the garden.

The lettuce flowers are a place of delight for the bees of all varieties as they load up big to go home.   This a great reason to let the spent plants run to seed.  The bees and other insects probably think it is heaven and in return they will fertilize my plants.

The First House - Health and Behaviour

The First House or Ascendant represents one's behaviour in the eyes of others, and also one's health.
It corresponds to the way the individual acts in the world. It is the image of the personality seen by others and the person's visible behaviour expressed outwardly.

The 1st House is in analogy with Aries and thus Mars too, and then the Sun. It is an angular house, the most important one with the Midheaven, maybe even more so due to its link with the body and health.

To understand ones Mid-Heaven is important.  Here is a complete explanation.

Midheaven SymbolThe Midheaven () is the cusp of the tenth house of the natal chart, and is one of the angles of a chart. It is found at the very top of the chart, and it is the most public point in our chart. It relates to our career or "life path" and suggests our social standing and reputation. The Midheaven is one of the four angles of the chart. The other three are the Imum Coeli (IC - directly opposite the Midheaven), the Ascendant (ASC), and the Descendant (DSC).
The Midheaven represents our most visible achievements in the eyes of society, our public "face" (as opposed to our more personal "face" at the Ascendant), our accomplishments, and our overall sense of responsibility and standing in the world/society.

Rising Sign/Ascendant

The AscendantWhy is that Leo so unassuming and self-abnegating? Isn't Leo a flamboyant sign? He has a Capricorn Ascendant. That Pisces friend who is always running around, talking about everything under the Sun, has a Gemini Ascendant. That man who has been married quite a few times, who is given to some fairly rude and shocking "observations" about others. He has a rather critical Virgo Moon and a say-it-like-it-is Mercury in Aquarius. However, he always seems to come across as a nice guy. His Libra Ascendant gives him a smooth, overall charm that keeps people from thinking him difficult (except perhaps, his ex-wives).
The Ascendant (or rising sign) is often considered the mask one wears when meeting others. Perhaps it is most aptly thought of as the automatic responses to one's environment. The Ascendant shows our natural defenses and how we cope with day-to-day issues. The energies of the sign and condition of the Ascendant are most overt and obvious to others. The Ascendant shows an individual's first, natural reaction to new people and situations.

IMG 4632

What follows are general interpretations of the sign position of the Ascendant. Remember that these characteristics are modified by planets conjunct the Ascendant, planets that aspect the Ascendant, and the position of the ruling planet of the sign on the Ascendant. For example, a person with an Aries Ascendant with its ruling planet, Mars, in Sagittarius will respond to the environment a little differently than another person, also with an Aries Ascendant, but whose Mars is in Scorpio. Similarly, a person with a Pisces Ascendant who also has Saturn conjunct it will "behave" differently than someone with a Pisces Ascendant who does not have that aspect. Cafe Astrology

A new day begins
I don't think I understand people in general.  I am thought to be 'snappy' because I criticize our governments endless whacky decisions in regards to our country being fracked to pieces.

I  only ever target my opinions towards governments and large corporations for ruining the lives of so many  people who in my opinion are innocents.  My desire here to expose the lying about it all.  I am really quite confused by the way the general public have reacted to me saying out loud about the fracking stuff.  I am very worried.

Hold no man responsible for what he says in his grief.

The Talmud

IMG 4706 Spring Dawn

The Talmud has much wisdom such as this because its the combined thoughts of many rabbis.

The Talmud (Hebrew: תַּלְמוּד talmūd "instruction, learning", from a root lmd "teach, study") is a central text of mainstream Judaism, considered second to the Torah.

It is also traditionally referred to as Shas (ש״ס), a Hebrew abbreviation of shisha sedarim, the "six orders" of the Oral Law of Judaism.

The Talmud has two components: the Mishnah (Hebrew: משנה, c. 200 CE), the first written compendium of Judaism's Oral Law, and the Gemara (c. 500 CE), an elucidation of the Mishnah and related Tannaitic writings that often ventures onto other subjects and expounds broadly on the Hebrew Bible.

The terms Talmud and Gemara are often used interchangeably.

The whole Talmud consists of 63 tractates, and in standard print is over 6,200 pages long. It is written in Tannaitic Hebrew and Aramaic.

When love is strong, a man and a woman can make their bed on a sword's blade. When love grows weak, a bed of 60 cubits is not large enough.
The Talmud
This is truth / reality.  We all who have been loved ,or who have loved deeply and strongly, know this to be true.
You can live in a tent, as long as love resides there with you.  ( m peters)
Love is all powerful.   Love is really the All.  It is the all we all look for all of our lives.

We do not heal the past by dwelling there; we heal the past by living fully in the present

Marianne Williamson

SAM 7917 The BaRN

Yes! get back on the horse and ride.  Get galloping at that.  Don't wait to think too much about it. All you may do then is stay right there where you are and stay stuck.

I, myself need to realize that my own happiness does not depend on others. My happiness does not depend on  whether certain people  are in my life and or are apart of my life.  It is totally reachable to be just happy. Happiness is a state of mind.  You simply make a choice to be "HAPPY".

I am always going to miss my children.  These three kids .. my children who I grew in my belly and whom I loved so very very dearly.  There is no denial of these facts. However, I dont  have to let them continue to steal my joy from the life I have left now.  So the answer is No!  I don't have to give them this permission to steal my joy.   So that was simple, I need to make a decision and stick to it.

I need to choose to live in the now! Live in the present.  Stay in the "now" moments.  There was so much from the past I want to hang onto though. My pig as it was pointed out to me as years ago.  (Long story)

This is all perfectly understandable . I  perhaps could hang onto the history but not the emotion.  If you don't know the history on what is concerning you, then "they" could put it over you.  "They" constitute the government or the authoritative ruling powers!

It isn't healthy for my children  to harbor such great and serious rifts of human spirit against a mother who tried as hard and as long as what I tried to be the best mother.  Whether they like it or not this will effect their health because the mere thoughts they have had will cause them serious illness.  Those sorts of actions have almost immediate karma attached to them.  It manifests in ways that ordinary doctors are baffled with.  This is the case though.

Hectic as ..So I think this is a 21st Century witch burning and I also think most are ok with it   Everyone else and that is  accept me.  I don't consider it warranted.   I have done nothing except have a normal reaction to an abnormal situation of living with a conniving alcoholic with multiple issues thrown in on top of my own more than complex life issues.  Yes, I was an above average mother and for this to have been my only teacher, I taught myself very well.  Woman with mothers of their own cannot do it.  Why are mine so hard on me?

Dolmen are very Sentimental Rox

A Dolmen and a  TARDIS have a lot in common. (time and relative dimensions in space)

According to Randy Powell, a Dolmen is a doughnut portal hole, in dimensional time space, or space time, relating to the ability to travel by thought, and mental energy- similar to a Rodin Coil, as defined, and explained by  a space time dilation portal, with multiple energy inputs all acting as a whole. Beyond matter, as a limitation.

Poulnabrone

The Poulnabrone Dolmen Portal Tomb is in Clare Ireland where my G G Grandmother Mary Flint came from.before sailing to Australia in the 1860's.   How delightful is this knowledge.  Now I know that I am from a people who were ancient and followed ancient rituals in past times.  This means my DNA holds this information.  This also means the more I look the more I will find.

Poulnabrone Portal Tomb
Poulnabrone Portal Tomb

The portal dolmen at Pouolnabrone dates from the Neolithic Age (about 3400 BC) and is one of the earliest burial places known from The Burren region. Johnida Dockens
/ Biologist / Arizona

A dolmen, also known as a portal tomb, portal grave, or quoit, is a type of single-chamber megalithic tomb, usually consisting of three or more upright stones supporting a large flat horizontal capstone (table).
 The Burren features map

Most date from the early Neolithic period (4000 to 3000 BC).

Killilagh Church, Doolin

Dolmens were usually covered with earth or smaller stones to form a barrow, though in many cases that covering has weathered away, leaving only the stone "skeleton" of the burial mound intact.

Dolmen a Izaba (Isaba)
It remains unclear when, why, and by whom the earliest dolmens were made. The oldest known dolmen are in Western Europe, where they were set in place around 7000 years ago, at the same time as the ancient civilisations of Egypt, India, and the Middle East.

How we are ripples out into the world...
The world needs us to embody the meaning in our lives.
This world is a co-creation, a manifestation of individual consciousness woven into a collective dream. How we are with each other is what shapes that dream!
Oriah Mountain Dreamer - The Call

This is so true, I  call this the Butterfly Effect.   I love butterflies but at times I don't like the effects.  This is a true statement of us all.  None of us like the ill effects of our behavior.  None of us like to actually feel this pain ourselves, so why do we inflict this on others then?  Good question!  One that I have zero answers to either. But I will always draw a lot of inspiration from the humble butterfly.  One whose life is spent in 24 short hours and he never complains,  I haven't heard a butterfly complain, have you?

It's not good to make sentimental journeys. You see the differences instead of the sameness. Mary Astor

Things indeed do change a lot and nothing at times seems the same.

IMG 4122 Nasturshiums
No matter what the nasturtiums never seem to change.

Last night I was looking on google earth at a street my son's God father and his parents lived in and their house which was on a busy street in Milton, Brisbane.  It was gone.  So were all of the houses around it.  I suspect a developer has bought the entire block for a shopping centre.   It is a very busy part of Milton Road.

Happy Birthday To Jesse, he is 24 today!

It is the end of the day, it is your birthday!

 IMG 1321 Cake for Mary

At the end of a day like this one has been - when I have given myself completely to thinking of you, my Son, I lie in bed exhausted and spent with my heart so full of gratitude  and full of love for you.

It feels like it will burst out of my chest with this sort of love,  My warm tears flow at times endlessly, because the joy cannot be contained, as I whisper to the quiet darkness, to the Spirit of creation. -  "Thank you"  I think that's not enough so I whisper again and again and again.

There is such magic in this world.  There is magic in us, in what we are offered in this life. I drift to my slumber with this as my lasting thoughts for you on this day of your birthday!

I love you Jesse.  I am sorry if I have hurt you.  I never ever meant to hurt you.  I, like all others on this planet, have a built in sensor to danger.  This sensor at times makes us behave in ways we ourselves don't understand.  This  might well be one of those cases.  Please forgive me.
