At first flash of Eden, we race down to the sea. Standing there on Freedom's Shore.

Waiting for the Sun........Jim Morrison

"Sun Gazing is an ancient method of healing that originated in India about 2600 years ago with the teaching of Lord Mahavir of Jain. What it does, basically, is that it activates the pineal gland, the glands responsible for the body's circadian rhythm.
I am not sure what the process is, but for some reason at certain times, the eyes need light which is necessary to re synchronize with the body systems.  The pituitary was once considered a "master gland" until they later found out that it was actually controlled by the pineal gland.
The pineal gland secretes melatonin, which is a powerful antioxidant, controls blood sugar, sleeping, controls pituitary gland for example.

I have long been gazing into the sun in the morning just on and after dawn.  The UV ratio is 0 at these times and a person is at less risk of causing any damage to the retina.

One needs to build up to doing this slowly, ten seconds at a time. Feel the energy that sweeps through your body and keeps you charged up like a battery all day.

Some say it reduces the need for actual food.  I don't eat much.   Practice looking into this light with your feet bare and grounded to the Earth,  enjoy.

I looked forward to going!

I wanted to go the year before but I was not invited or told it was possible to attend, then when I find out that it is open to adults.

It was already too late as someone else was accompanying my daughter and the person accompanying her did not want me anywhere in proximity to him.   He considered being on the school property at the same time to close.  That was really hectic.
I am just glad that it was over quickly and that it wasn't that fantastic.  Who am I kidding?  I died inside for weeks after and I have it on great authority it was fabulous.

This is just the beginning.  It will get worse.  Next it will be her graduation then it will be her 18th Birthday then it will be her engagement and her marriage and her pregnancies and her life and I won't be invited!

So, the plan is to not allow this to impact upon my plans for 2012 and the photography and writing involved with On the Hill.  This year will be an exciting year ahead.   All I have to do is let it happen.  I will endure this and try my best to push through and take the best images I have ever taken this year.

Sunshine cannot bleach the snow.... Nor time unmake what poets know.

Ralph Waldo Emerson... on Sunshine

I find it impossible to stay quiet when I am gazing upon the magnificence at dawn.. I have to say out loud, "thank you".  I have been looking at the sun this morning and it was a gift to me because it lasted no more than 15 seconds of bright light before it was concealed by the clouds on the horizon.  I stared intently into its glow and while I did I just kept saying thank you.

This is absolute healing energy from the light source of the universe.  The light doesn't damage the retina and hour after dawn and an hour before sunset.

So, drink from the suns magnificence for your inner self and for the light to fully activate the hypothalamus.  When this occurs supernatural type things can occur so prepare yourself for some great times ahead as your mood lifts to a level that you haven't yet known if you have never done this daily and all of this is compliments of the creator of this awesome universe we are part of.

Deutsch: Ralph Waldo Emerson (*1803, † 1882)Image via Wikipedia
Ralph Waldo Emerson's  publication of the 1836 essay Nature is usually considered the watershed moment at which transcendentalism became a major cultural movement. Emerson wrote in his speech "The American Scholar": "We will walk on our own feet; we will work with our own hands; Divine Soul which also inspires all men.
Transcendentalists were strong believers in the power of the individual and divine messages. Their beliefs are closely linked with those of the Romantics.
Another alternative meaning for transcendentalism is the classical philosophy that God transcends the manifest world. As John Scotus Erigena put it to Frankish king Charles the Bald in the year 840 AD, "We know not what God is. God himself doesn't know what He is because He is not anything. Literally God is not, because He transcends being."
Perhaps I have transcendental ideologies of my own ..... This is very clear at  times.  Love Mezza.

You can't run away from trouble. There ain't no place that far. - Uncle Remus

Why do some feel it so necessary to bring me down?   Because what I have to say is too confrontational.  I think that is why.  I am not in the business of being able to sort through some things to benefit others softness to reality!  I am a realist and a realist tells it like they see it! If I see colors, I mean it.  If I feel vibrations, I am not lying.  I cannot help who I am!

A man or woman of genius makes no mistakes, his or her errors are volitional and are the portals of discovery" ... James Joyce

I wondered why I was compelled to see sunrise each morning and look at it. Mary Peters

Each day just before dawn I excitedly grab my camera these days and head off in the early morning to capture images of sunrise.  I don't wear shoes usually, but in winter I do wear ugg boots which I can easily pull off.

I stand barefooted feet connecting with the earth and watch the magnificence before me and give thanks to God for the beauty that has been gifted to me to see.

I look at the sun.  I have been doing this for some time now.  I have done this instinctively and I am writing this because this highlights a lot of what I have also been trying to say and get across to people for so long.  At least for the length of my children's lives I have as I refused to coat their bodies in sunscreen.  I had serious reservations that slapping on sunscreen would be beneficial at the end of the day 30 years later.

Because I stood up against this practice I was then labelled as a fruit loop and an irresponsible parent in front of my children by various children's agencies ie. Pre School, School, Sporting groups etc.  This was a very destructive influence over the way my children respected me and understood me in the future, and this all came compliments of these government educational institutions.

I was indelibly hurt.   To this day I am sure my children remember, but are  now too proud to admit that they believed what has turned out to be lies as more evidence in the news this week suggests that the incidence of skin cancer has now be directly related to some chemicals that have been used in some sunscreens and that they didn't have faith in me.

I put my faith in the creation.  They did not.  It is that simple.

Today, which is incidentally the second day of this new awakening in my spirit, I am lead to read about Sungazing by a friend who knows me fairly well and knows of my scruples surrounding life and living and the way in which I see things.  The incident  which came first started yesterday at the Urunga accident scene talking to the chap that lives in the house.
The rest of what is written here I give to you as a gift.  It was a gift to me.   You will know if it is right for you or not.  Your spirit will know.  Trust the discernment within.   With Love . . . Mezza

Sun Gazing: Why I Stare At The Sun

PLEASE NOTE: This sun-gazing information is for educational purposes only. We do not recommend sun-gazing to anyone. If you are considering sun gazing, please research this as much as possible.

Sun Gazing: Why I Stare at the Sun
Sun gazing. Sounds crazy doesn’t it? Doctor’s warn you about how dangerous the sun is, and how harmful it can be to your health. They recommend we wear sun screens, and shades, and limit our exposure. People complain about skin cancer, sun damage, and sun blindness, and yet all of these things have little to do really, with the sun.

Studies have shown that exposure to sunshine aids the healing of melanoma, and Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Research indicates it could be an aid in other cancers also. It seems that vitamin D directly from the sun, is an excellent healing agent.

It is recommended by some who advocate the use of sunshine, to limit sun exposure to some degree, so that you do not incur skin cancer. I suggest this also, for those who eat a normal American diet, or if you include grains in your diet. Your skin is your largest eliminatory organ, whereby unprocessed toxins are released through the skin’s pores. Interactions between the toxins and the sun’s rays, bring about what we know of, as skin cancer.

Skin damage, such as leathering of the skin, is caused by lack of EFA’s in the diet. Sun blindness or damage to the eyes, is caused by the use of corrective lenses. Glasses, and contact lenses both, cause an unnatural glare on the eyes, when exposed to the sun. This can cause serious damage to the eyes over time.

Safe Use of the Sun:

Common sun screens contain aluminium, a cancer causing substance. I recommend using plain sesame oil, it is an excellent sunscreen. Research shows it blocks the effects of the sun’s ray’s by about 30%.

If you are going to be sunbathing, remove any corrective lenses you are wearing, or keep your eyes closed.

If you eat an average diet, or eat grains, limit sun exposure, and wear protective clothing.

Staring at the Sun:

My journey with the ancient practice of sun gazing, began in Arizona, a little over three years ago. I had discovered an incredible diet that was to save my life, by the same man who recommended sungazing. His name was Vinny Pinto, and he ran a Yahoo group that focused on a man named Hira Ratan Manek. He was originally from India, and is commonly referred to as HRM.

HRM has literally subsisted, and lived off of the sun’s energy since June 18th, 1995. That is right, he has not eaten solid food in 12 years. He has been studied by various researchers, such as the Thomas Jefferson University, and the University of Pennsylvania. Not only have they found his claims to be true, but medical evidence suggests this man is more healthy than a normal person of his age. This year he is 76.

How does he do it?

The ancient practice of sun gazing. Doctor’s found his neurons were active, and not dying. His pineal gland is actually growing, not shrinking, which is very unusual in someone over the age of fifty. The greatest average in someone over fifty, is a pineal size of 6×6 mm, HRM’s is 8×11 mm.

I have spoken with HRM, and he has taught myself and others, his sun-gazing techniques. He now runs a website that can be found here. HRM is a little stricter in his training than I myself practice, but his guidelines are probably a must for the average beginner. Here is his process.

My Sun-gazing Story

In August of 2004, I went in to get a new contact lens prescription. I have a genetic retinal degenerative disease, and am blind in one eye. My vision in my good eye, sent me home with a prescription of -19. That is a pretty extreme case of near sightedness. After vigilant sun-gazing one year, I returned to the same doctor in may 2006.

This man was very mainstream, and when I told him I had been sun gazing, he went through the roof. He checked for eye damage…there was none. He checked my prescription. According to his device, my vision had changed to a prescription of -17.5. When I looked at the eye chart, it was even a vastly greater difference. He refused to give me anything lower than -17.5, saying the whole situation was impossible. This has not been the only situation in which a doctor has said the same thing to me. It took me months for my eyes to adjust, to a prescription that was too powerful.

The Benefits of Sun Gazing:

Dawn at Hungry Head NSW
Sun gazers report a variety of benefits. The most basic are improved health, increased energy levels, clearer thinking, an increase in awareness, and results from what is called wish fulfilment.

Wish fulfilment is practised during the time that you are gazing at the sun. One focuses on inner desire and needs, and having these things come into one’s life. It is an amazing practice, and partly why I am so addicted to it. I have had countless things manifest for me after doing various wish fulfilments. It is kind of sad that I only get three months of sunshine living in Washington state!

Am I Recommending Sun Gazing?

Everyone must make their own choices, and come to their own conclusions. Do not take my word for it, but take the time to really look into it, if you are interested. You can find additional information from the scientist I previously mentioned, Vinny Pinto. Just type in sun-gazing into Google, and you will find ample information on the subject.

Enjoy the sun!

Sun-gazing Process:

HRM experimented on his own body for three years and devised this method based on trial and error. This can be accomplished by anyone in any part of the world at any time of the year. HRM is not a unique figure and anyone can do this. Now thousands are using this method of sun-gazing are achieving results. In Brazil, Australia, Germany, more than 3000 people are subsisting on light. This is a rebirth of a science that was practised long time ago. Originally this was a spiritual practice in the ancient times and now it is becoming a scientific practice, which can be followed by anyone as described below. Day by day this practice of sun-gazing is becoming popular and has become known as the HRM Phenomena.

Safe Sun-gazing Practice:

Sun-gazing is a one-time practice of your lifetime usually for a period of 9 months. You can break up the practice in three phases. 0 to 3 months, 3-6 months and 6- 9 months. You have to walk barefoot for 45 minutes for the rest of your life. Food makes us commit the maximum pain to others and exploit others. The practice entails looking at the rising or setting sun one time per day only during the safe hours. No harm will come to your eyes during the morning and evening safe hours. The safe hours are any time within 1-hour window after sunrise or any-time within the 1-hr window before sunset. It is scientifically proven beyond a reasonable doubt that during these times, one is free from UV and IR rays exposure, which is harmful to your eyes. To determine the timings of sunrise or sunset, you can check the local newspaper, which also lists the UV Index as 0 during these times. Both times are good for practice - it depends on individual's convenience. Sun gazing also has the added advantage of getting vitamin A and D during the 1-hour safe period window. Vitamin A is necessary for the health of the eye, the only vitamin that the eye requires. If you sun-gaze, the spectacles and the associated power in the eye will go away and this will provide better eyesight without glasses.

For those who cannot initially sun-gaze during the safe periods, sunbathing is an effective method for receiving the sun energy at a slower pace until one is able to sun-gaze. Best times to take sunbath is when the UV index is lower 2 or below. This usually occurs within the 2-hour window after sunrise or before sunset. Sun bathing during the day is to be avoided, except for during the winter months, when the UV index usually remains at 2 all throughout which is safe for sunbathing. Check your local newspaper to see the published results for UV Index to be sure. Also do not use sunscreen. When body gets heated up you perspire and sweat is a waste product and needs to go out of the body. When you are painted or coated with lotions and creams -- they get degenerated and the chemicals enter your body. It is our malpractice -our wrong use- why we blame the sun for skin cancers.
Sungazing: 0 - 3 months.

First day, during the safe hours, sun-gaze for a maximum of 10 seconds. Second day sun-gaze for 20 seconds at the rising sun adding ten seconds every succeeding day. So at the end of 10 continuous days of sun-gazing you will be looking at the sun for 100 seconds i.e. 1 minute and 40 seconds. Stand on bare earth with bare foot. Eyes can blink and/or flicker. Stillness or steadiness of the eyes is not required. Do not wear any lenses or glasses while sun-gazing.

Why don't you watch the sun instead of the TV? The intensity of the TV is much more than the rising or setting of the sun. If you can watch TV at close ranges for extended periods of time, you can easily watch the rising or setting sun safely. Have a belief that the sun-rays or lights that you are getting into your eyes are of immense benefit and will not harm you. This will give you earlier, quicker and better results. Even without a belief component also you will get the results provided that you follow the practice, however, it will take longer time. On the other hand, you need not restrict any of your normal daily routines to sun-gaze. There are no restrictions. You can enjoy your food while applying this practice. Hunger will disappear eventually by itself.

You may consider sun-gazing from the same place at the same time daily. Following circadian patterns has its advantages. If you pray, you can have any prayer of your choice. No particular one is suggested and it is not a requirement. As a precaution, have your eyes examined by a doctor. This is to err on the side of caution from a scientific standpoint. Also, you should have periodic check ups. Additionally, you can buy photo sun-cards to monitor UV and IR radiation, which are priced at about $2. (when cards are kept in the sunlight). There is no need to buy an expensive $500 photo-sensometer. If your cheeks get heated up then stop gazing. Use common sense.

When you reach three months you will have gazed at the sun 15 minutes at a stretch. If you can watch TV for 3 hours, surely you can see the sun for that long. What is happening as you go up to 15 minutes? The sun energy or the sun-rays passing through the human eye are charging the hypothalamus tract, which is the pathway behind the retina leading to the human brain. As the brain receives the power supply through this pathway, it is activated into a brain-nutor. One of the software programs inherent in the brain will start running and we will begin to realise the changes since we will have no mental tension or worries. Besides, we will have the self-confidence to face life problems by means of developing a positive mind set instead of a negative one. Moreover, we will become fearless since our psychosis will have disappeared so will have all the ills of the mind. This is the first phase of the method and lasts around 3 months.

Humans have good and bad qualities, which are 2 sides of the same coin. In the absence of the sunlight we develop bad qualities. When sunlight enters the brain, good qualities come into appearance replacing bad ones. Eventually, even spiritual ignorance goes away. Sometimes, you get confused from what you hear and read. You get contradictory information such as red wine is good for you and alcohol is bad for you. You are baffled with life's problems and detest decision-making. But after 3 months of sun gazing, you develop a sense of confidence and know the answers for yourself spiritually. There is a balance of the mind, where you are in a position to judge personal answers - the correct answers. You develop powers that are already inherent in you. Bad qualities disappear, anger, greed, jealousy leave you. You become a lovable creature. Everybody likes you. You will do no wrong. If you are positive or fearless, you will not harm anybody nor pain anybody. You will become a compassionate person. This is a great contribution to world peace. A positive approach creates solutions to problems and waste in society. There will be no need for environmental engineers. We won't throw waste, as there is no away. By 3.5 months everything changes.

Besides, mental depression will go away. Psychiatrists are observing that sadness is caused by lack of sunlight. With the practice of sun-gazing you will not have depression in your whole lifetime. You will achieve a perfect balance of mind. Fear of death will go away. The state of mind is such that you will welcome death. What is to happen, you will be able to let it happen. There will be no worries. Everyone has some sort of mental disorder, which is the biggest human problem, which can be removed by the proper use of sunlight.

Sun-gazing: 3 - 6 months.
Next, Physical diseases will start being cured. 70 to 80% of the energy synthesised from food is taken by the brain and is used up in fuelling tensions and worries. With a lack of mental tension, brain does not require the same amount of energy as before. As you proceed in sun gazing and as your tensions decrease the need for food intake will go down.

When you reach 30 minutes duration of continuously sun-gazing, you will slowly be liberated from physical disease since by then all the colours of the sun will have reached the brain through the eye. Brain regulates the flow of colour prana appropriately to the respective organs. All the internal organs get ample supply of the required colour prana. The vital organs are dependent on certain sun colour prana. Kidney red, Heart yellow, Liver green etc. Colours reach the organs and address any deficiencies. This is how colour therapies work... Reiki and Pranic Healing. There is a lot of information available on colour therapy. This is the process of getting liberated from physical ailments over a six-month period. After 3-4 months you can become cured of your physical ailments with auto-suggestion, which is imagining and visualising healing your ailments while he sun-gazing. Scientific methods such as the Solarium's, crystals, colour bottles, natural stones, gems, all utilise sun energy, which is stored in these natural stones. You can keep natural colour stones in drinking water to further hasten healing.

In solarium's there is usually a platform at the height of 100 feet where each of the 7 glass cabinets is constructed for each of the VIBGYOR colours. This platform revolves around the sun whole day and according to the nature of the disease diagnosed, the patient is placed in the appropriate colour for healing. Similarly, glass drinking water bottles with different colours are kept in sun for 8 hours. The water gets solarised and water develops medicinal value and is used to treat different diseases.

Photosynthesis, which we misunderstand, does not in fact need chlorophyll. Only the plant kingdom needs chlorophyll. Human body can do it with a different medium. Photosynthesis is transforming the sun energy into a usable energy format. This is how Photovoltaic cells work and electricity is produced, similarly water is heated, food is cooked in solar cooker, and solar batteries run auto mobiles.

Eyes receive the entire spectrum of the sunlight while sun-gazing, which is distributed to the different parts of the body by the brain on a need per basis. As a result, you are cured from all diseases. A 3rd intermediate medium is avoided. As you continue sun-gazing, energy is no longer being used up for mental impairments or physical ailments; thus its storage level increases in your body. You are your own master within 6 months.

Sungazing: 6 - 9months.

After 6-months of sun-gazing you will start to have the original form of micro food, which is our sun. Additionally, this can avoid the toxic waste that you take into your body while you eat regular food.

7.5 months and 35 minutes of sun-gazing is when hunger starts going down palpably. Need for food intake decreases. No one needs to eat more than his or her hunger levels. Hunger comes because of energy requirements of the body, which is a must for its existence. Food is not a necessity for the body to function, only energy is. Conventionally, you are indirectly getting the sun energy while eating food, which is a by-product of sun energy. If there is no sunlight, no food will grow.

Therefore, as you consume the original form of food by sun-gazing, hunger goes down starting to disappear eventually. By eight months, you should see hunger almost gone. For a dull or weak student or with no belief, this time period may be 9 months or 44 minutes. After that time, hunger disappears forever. All mechanisms associated with hunger like aroma, cravings, and hunger pangs also disappear. Moreover, energy levels are at a higher level. There is a judgment (having had this experience) that the brain is well activated with the sun energy. Well done, you have become a solar cooker.
Sun-gazing after 9 Months:
After nine months or when you reach to a 44 minutes level, you should give up sun-gazing since solar science prohibits further gazing for the sake of eye care. The body will get discharged when you stop practising, which has to be recharged. Now you have to start walking on bare foot on bare earth for 45 minutes daily for a total of 6 days. Relaxed walking only. No need to walk briskly, jog or run. Any convenient time of the day is all right, however it is preferred to do that when the earth is warmer and the sunlight is falling on your body. When you walk bare foot, an important gland in the brain's centre called the pineal gland or the third eye is activated. The big toe of the foot represents this gland. 25 years ago it was considered a useless gland. Now it has become an important gland for study and up to now, about 18,000 papers have been published about it. It has always been known as the Seat of the soul. The Pineal gland has optic nerve endings. The remaining four toes represent glands too -- pituitary, hypothalamus, thalamus and amygdala. Amygdala for the last 2 years has been gaining importance in medical research. It's a nucleus of the sun or cosmic energy and plays an important role in the photosynthesis via the sunlight reaching the brain through the eye. When you walk bare foot, your body weight stimulates all these 5 glands through your toes. This is strengthened by the earth heat/energy and the sun prana falling on the head or the crown chakra. The chakras are not in the spinal cord that is an imaginary location; they are definitely in the brain. All these create a magnetic field and the body/brain recharges with the energy of the sun entering in you. Relax. Walk 45 minutes for one year and food continues to be away from you. After one year of recharging, if you are satisfied with your progress you can give up barefoot walking. Few minutes of sun energy falling on you once in 3-4 days will be enough from then on.

But if you want the immune system to strengthen, then keep on the bare foot walking. Also if you want memory power or intelligence to increase, continue the walking practice. As you increase the sun's heat on your feet the brain will activate more and more, which will result in the more activity of the Pineal gland. The Pineal gland has certain psychic and navigational functions. Navigational means one can fly like the birds. You can develop psychic skills of telepathy and have your body at different places simultaneously. Science has validated human psychic functions and medical experiments are being done to ascertain this. Different body parts and its organs get purified once you stop eating due to detoxification. The different internal organs play different mechanical parts for the purposes of space travel and flight. There is another utility value (other than food digestion) for the internal organs. All the glands have a lot of functions and can perform at optimal level via sun energy. If you are fortunate to activate the brain optimally you surely will reach enlightenment. You can read past, present, and future. This method can be safely applied to control obesity. Almost all problems get solved.

Historically, a lot of people have remained without food. Accordingly in 1922, the Imperial Medical College in London decreed that solar rays were the ideal food for humans. However, no one has mentioned what their technique was-- For e.g. Yogananda in his book 'autobiography of yogi' interviewed many saints and mystics to find out the secret of their lack of eating food. The common reply was that the sun energy entered through a secret door and reached the Medulla Oblongata in the brain. They did not divulge their secret. This knowledge was lost to common folk at the time.

Ancient Hindu scriptures tell us the quickest way to charge the bodies cells is sun-gazing. To do this... stand barefoot on bare ground and roll the eyes around the sun. This bathes all the rods and cones in the eye and charges the bodies cells.

You should sun-gaze only when the sun is fairly low in the sky... never attempt to sun-gaze when the sun is at or near it's zenith at noon or during an eclipse of the sun. You can sun-gaze... by looking directly at the sun at sunrise and sunset, without any discomfort. Begin by practising these
Sun-gazing techniques slowly or for a short time at the beginning to see how your eyes are affected. Follow your inspiration. See detailed examples of Sun-gazing methods below.

Various names for
Sun-gazing: sun gazing, solar healing, solar gazing, sun staring, Sun Yoga, Surya Yoga and Solar Yoga.

-------------------------------------

Methods of charging the bodies cells: Sun-gazing, walking barefoot on the earth with most of the body exposed to the sun; bathing or swimming in living sun-charged water of streams, rivers and lakes; drinking sun-charged water; eating living food as fresh as possible; prana breathing; find a power point where prana wells up out of the earth like a small whirlwind and stand in it; (go barefoot to look for these on hilltops, mountain ridges and peaks) exhilarate the mind with prayer, mantras, affirmations and singing to invoke god's grace.

Illumination means to light up... and that's what we are trying to do here. You've seen paintings of Saints and Angels with a halo around their head... that's an indication of illumination... or spiritual enlightenment. The cells of the body become fully charged and the body begins to glow... the mind is cleared of mental clutter and the body becomes free of toxic waste and dis-ease.

All of these methods of ascending require that you live a balanced spiritual life in which you are physically and mentally pure to maintain the sanity of your personal mind. As you ascend your reality may change very rapidly and you need to be able to keep your mental balance to continue upward.

-----------------------------------------------------

"Shri Manek has researched ancient Jain and Hindu Scriptures and experimented with Sun-gazing on himself under strict medical Scrutiny to Develop a simple and scientific technique of harnessing energy from the Sun and the Earth. He lived without food, on water alone, for a prolonged period of 411days..." [while under strict observation by medical doctors. He has gone years without eating... only drinking water... gaining all his sustenance from the sun.]

"He dedicated his life to teaching how our body can gain energy from sources other than food. People who practised this method have observed negative emotions to drop, chronic illnesses to disappear and all obsession with food become a thing of the past.''

" Shri Manek’s method: Is to be practised standing BAREFOOT on BARE EARTH. No wearing shoes, and no standing on concrete, stone or even on grass in a meadow or lawn (The grass absorbs the solar energy). One has to stand either on sand or on gravel/mud/ earth. Bare feet have to be in contact with the bare earth."

"Practice
Sun-gazing in the open, in the first one hour after sunrise or the last one hour just before sunset. During this time, the sun rays are not too strong, and also the UV radiation etc. is supposed to be lower, so no harm will come to the eyes."

-------------------------------------------------------

"Start by simply gazing (or rather, looking) at the sun for 10 seconds only. Do not stare or focus on the sun. Simply just look at it. No stress or strain on the face, facial muscles or eyes. Stand relaxed. No need to maintain an unblinking, un-winking stare. Blink as and when it naturally happens."

"During the practice, the attitude of “surrender” to the natural divine cosmic sun energy must be there, as also an “auto-suggestion” and implicit belief that this is going to help/heal/nourish you. Increase the time you gaze at the sun by ten seconds each day."

"In about three months time, you will be doing it for about 15 minutes. At this time, all your mental tensions, problems etc. will go away. This itself is a major thing. If this is your objective, you can stop the practice at this time and go to the 'Post
Sun-gazing practice'."

"If you wish to go ahead, continue for another three months, increasing again by ten seconds each day. When you are six months into the practice, you will be somewhere around 30 minutes."

"At this time, all your physical ailments will also be gone. If this is your objective, you can stop the practice at this time and go to the “Post Sun-gazing practice”. If you wish to go ahead, continue for another three months, increasing again by ten seconds each day."

Sungazing Methods Most Commonly Used
by Vinny Pinto

My own experience with Sun-gazing is that one should do it while standing (most preferable) or sitting with feet firmly on the ground, and first very briefly visualise (for only a few seconds) a tube running up and down the entire length of the spine, very clear and open (I believe this helps to open the 3 spinal energy channels [central channel, ida and pingala] to the energy flow.)

Alternatively, or additionally, one can also briefly focus on, and relax, the throat and jaw areas. This seems to help the energies flow and reduce untoward symptoms or after-effects. Most beginners seem to start slowly, perhaps looking only at the sun with eyes closed for a few weeks, and then progressing to looking at a spot near the sun with eyes open for a few weeks, and then progressing finally to direct
Sun-gazing for very short periods at first, at times before 10:00 AM and after 3:30 PM. Some die-hard sun-gazers in temperate latitudes then seem to sometimes eventually progress to Sun-gazing in midday even in summertime.

When I sun-gaze, I draw the energy first to the heart centre and then to the solar plexus and navel centres, and then, on exhale, out to the rest of the body. We all seem to notice that we may have some loss of vision in the centre of the visual field (I see blurred light image of the sun) for about 10 minutes following a session, and some folks report really nasty headaches and sinus pains which may last for days afterward, especially when first starting, and my opinion (and that of others as well) is that this is especially severe if there are lots of pre-existing toxins or damaged tissue in that area.

For those who have been practising for some time and who are serious adherents,
sun-gazing often may involve staring directly at the sun, often between 10 AM and 3 PM, when it is brightest (even in summer!), with eyes wide open, for many minutes at a time. Again, as noted before, most practitioners feel that one must also consciously circulate the energy received by the eyes through certain energy centres of the body as well.

As noted earlier, I have sun-gazed occasionally for years. The practice can lead to very heavy cleansing symptoms in the beginning if one has lots of toxins on an energy level or the physical level. Again, please note that I am not advising this sun-gazing technique for anyone else.

Sun-gazing: to stare directly at the sun, eyes open, usually while sitting with the feet on the ground, for anywhere from a minute to a half-hour, with appreciation and gratitude in the heart for all the sun gives us. In the 15-plus years in which I have been practising this, I, along with others who do it, find that while early morning works well, the best times, at least in cool temperate climates, seem to be between 10 AM and 3 PM, when the sun is at its highest position and "brightest".

A newcomer may get rather severe cleansing headaches at first (or is it major damage? who knows?). Please do not do this just on my word; please research it first!

For those of us who do sun-gaze: We usually sit, face the sun, open our eyes, look at the sun, and then allow the the sun energy down to our heart chakra, solar plexus chakra, and navel chakra, and then allow it to flow to the rest of the body!

If you are seriously contemplating sun-gazing, especially just outside the times just after sunrise or just before sunset, then you are likely a bit crazy. If you are considering it, then I would urge you to research the matter thoroughly and to consult deeply and sincerely with your intuition and heart intelligence before doing any sun-gazing, and do not push yourself if you do not feel ready! I do NOT recommend trying this!

What to Expect When You Sun-Gaze

by Mason Dwinell

Sungazing is tool for tapping the potential of your human being. Some change may occur to reach these peaks; your perceptions may alter circumstances, you will begin to change from the inside out, and as we all know change can be uncomfortable. Nonetheless, when we release our physical and emotional energetic blockages these changes will become trivial relative to the incredible expansiveness of the universe. We are all energetic beings, vibrating at different frequencies, so we should be comfortable with the concept that all of us are different. There may be many different reactions, sensations and experiences; remember, whatever happens to you is perfect. It is yours and yours only. Be positive and open-minded; feel all there is to feel.

Once you reach about 15-18 minutes (3-4 months) of sun-gazing many of your mental tensions: irritability, anger, fear, grief, and general personal frustrations will go away. This is just the beginning, but what a beautiful beginning it is. Life will become easier, more comfortable and more enjoyable as you get closer and closer to finding out who you really are. A blissful, euphoric sensation may envelope you. Your energy levels may increase and the benefits of having a routine in conjunction with the earth's rhythms will begin to have a peaceful affect on your perception of the world.

At about 25-30 minutes (6-7 months) of sun-gazing, your hungers will begin to diminish. How and why you make the choices you make may come forth with remarkable clarity. Your self confidence may begin to increase, as your comfort level with being you is heightened. And yes, your physical hunger for food will also begin to lessen.

Between 35 and 40 minutes (9-10 months) of sun-gazing physical disharmonies, injuries, and diseases will be remedied. Also your hunger for food will begin to substantially diminish. At this point you may also feel awakenings in your charkas as well as possible energy beginning to stir within your kundalini. Each day more energy blockages will be dissolved as you get closer and closer to your higher self. At about 35 minutes your brain reaches its ability to store an energetic charge.

You have reached the final step…40 to 44 minutes. Wow. Now you stop sun-gazing. To continue on can be very detrimental to your eyes. At this time, sun-gazing is concluded and there is no need to continue the practice any more. During the first three months, the pineal gland is getting activated, and the hypothalamus or pathway to the brain from the eye is getting charged. After that period the solar energy starts reaching your brain and charging it. After this period, the solar energy starts getting stored in each and every cell in your body. When all the cells in the body are purified there is no need to sungaze any more. Now your brain is fully charged, the ability to control your destiny is in your hands.

SUNLIGHT WILL HELP HEAL YOUR EYES

"Gazing directly into the sun actually improves sight and aids in overcoming disease,," wrote Dr. Herbert Shelton.

WITHOUT SUNLIGHT YOU WILL DIE"Without sunshine, there would be no life possible on earth," writes Dr. Edwin Flatto. The sun provides the basis for all life on earth.

The sun is the source of energy for all plants, and indirectly, for all animals. Sunlight purifies water, air and the surfaces of objects.

"Shut up the strongest man in a dark dungeon, and he becomes pale like a corpse, his blood loses its vitality, and he is liable to scrofulous disease. He loses the power of resisting disease influences," wrote Dr. Thomas Low Nichols.

"Take away the sunlight and all life on earth would soon perish. Deprived of sunlight, man loses physical vigor and strength and will develop a disinclination for activity," wrote Dr. Herbert Shelton. Shelton wrote that the "jailbird" who has been locked in his cell for sometime with a lack of sunlight, is in line for disease and will waste away.

Feed two animals the same diet but keep one in a dark closet and allow the other to be out in the sunshine. The animal that's kept in the closet will be weak, stunted and die prematurely.

FOR BEST RESULTS WHEN EXPOSED TO SUNLIGHT, DO NOT USE EYEGLASSES, SUNGLASSES, SUNLAMPS, SUNSCREENS, SUNTAN LOTIONS OR TANNING PILLS

Eyeglasses and contact lenses rob you of energy by blocking some of the ultra violet rays that travel through the eyes to the pineal gland, writes Patricia McCormac.

After discontinuing wearing his eyeglasses, Dr. John Ott writes that he exposed his eyes to the sunlight without lenses. His vision was much improved. He recommended similar therapy to his friends and they received similar improvement in their vision. Ott writes that nothing should block out the full spectrum of sunlight, no glasses of any kind to block the ultra violet rays, and especially, no dark glasses.

Sunglasses block healing ultra-violet light and thus contribute to the increased incidence of blindness and eye disease in this country, writes Dr. Jacob Liberman.

Suntan lotions should not be used because they can cause cancer, writes Dr. Zane R. Kime.

"Artificial sun-lamps can do irreparable damage. None of the lamps, regardless of the price, contain more than a few of the rays found in the sun. The ultra-violet rays, because of their short length in artificial lamps, can be very harmful," writes Dr. William Esser.

Sunscreen may actually increase the risk of cancer, so proposed California researchers in a paper published in January, 1993, in the Annals of Epidemiology. The researchers contended that UVB- blocking sunscreens had contributed to increasing skin-cancer rates, by disabling the body's natural alarm mechanism: sunburn. The researchers also posited that because UVB rays are the main source of vitamin D, and because vitamin D may inhibit the progression of melanoma, and because sunscreens block UVB rays- sunscreens might promote vitamin D deficiencies and cause melanomas. (UVB is the shorter wavelength of ultraviolet light that damages the skin. UVA is the longer of the two types of ultraviolet light that reaches the earth. UVA is responsible for tanning.)

In a study in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute in January,1993, researchers from the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center applied three common types of sunscreen to mice and then exposed most of them to sunlamps twice a week for three weeks. Melanoma cells were then injected into all the mice. The mice exposed to the ultraviolet (UV) rays, even if they were treated with sunscreen, had a higher incidence of melanoma than those not exposed to UV rays. The researchers theorised that sunscreens may allow enough UV to penetrate the skin to suppress the immune response and/or damage DNA, thus allowing tumours to develop.

UVA can cause skin cancer, particularly melanoma, according to the Texas researchers. The sunscreens used in the mouse study blocked little or no UVA.

Tanning pills are unsafe, writes Consumer Reports. Consumer Reports write that Canthaxanthin, a dye, used in tanning pills, builds up in the retina and liver, causes skin reactions and itching, and leads to a type of hepatitis.

If we choose to expose our nude skins to the sunshine, all we need do is pay attention to our bodies. Our bodies are always talking to us and we must learn to listen. If the sunshine is going to be harmful to us, our bodies will feel uncomfortable in the sunshine. This will force us to withdraw our bodies from the sunshine before the sunshine can injure us. DON'T BLOCK THE SUN OR YOU MAY DEVELOP CANCER BY REDUCING VITAMIN D ABSORPTION

Anything that blocks sunshine from penetrating the skin will reduce the amount of vitamin D that the body makes.

People with lower levels of activated vitamin D are at greater risk for colon cancer, writes the Lancet.

Vitamin D "in man, absorption is through the skin," by the influence of sunlight, writes Dr. Viviana Virginia Vetrano.

HOW TO SUNBATHE CORRECTLY

"Sun-baths must, of course, be taken in the nude because clothing prevents passage of the sun's rays to the body and the result is only heat and sweat," writes Dr. William Esser.

"A full sunbath in the nude is ideal. This is not a mere cosmetic measure, but a health requirement for greatest value," wrote Dr. Herbert Shelton.

"Wild animal life spends the cool portions of the day in the sun and seeks the shade and rest when it is hottest," wrote Dr. Shelton.

"Absorb the sun's rays during the early morning or just before sunset, when the sun's rays are slanting, and when your shadow is longer than you are," writes Dr. Edwin Flatto.

"Rooms which are poorly ventilated, into which the sunshine is not permitted to shine and which are damp and not dried by your home heating system are destructive of both life and health," writes Rise Rafferty. Rafferty also writes, shutters and heavy curtains block the life-giving rays of sunlight from the chamber. This should not be so.

A sunny exposure, plenty of large windows, and no blinds or curtains, wrote Dr. Thomas Low Nichols.

CANCER OF THE BREAST, PROSTATE, REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS & COLON ARE CAUSED BY NOT EXPOSING THESE VITAL ORGANS TO THE SUN & AIR

Unfortunately we are forced in our "un-civilization to constantly keep covered with tight, restrictive garments and undergarments, brassieres, panties, underpants,& bathing suits, our breasts, prostates, reproductive organs and colons.

"No skin can be maintained in any thing like a clean condition if it 'does not come in contact with the sun and air," wrote Dr. -8- Herbert Shelton.

Shelton also wrote "Complete organs may be removed from the body, not only the arms and legs, but some of the internal organs, and life will continue as before, but if the function of the skin is suspended for only a few minutes, death is the result" ... "The resistant powers of Elie-normal skin counteracts in a marvellous way those changes of temperature to which the body is so frequently subjected.

The skin weakened by clothing is unable to do this very effectively." "The skin that has become weakened by clothing serves as a less effective barrier to infectious matter from the outside."

"Man also breathes through his skin and it is vitally necessary that a constant supply of fresh pure air reach the skin if it is to carry on its respiratory function normally. A healthy skin is essential to normal health and can be had only by giving it the advantage of those agencies which are intended by nature to come in contact with and affect the skin."

"Anyone who ever had his feet to sweat knows how disagreeable is the odour that exudes from them when his or her shoes are removed. Every one is acquainted with the fact that the feet of the 'bare foot boy with cheeks of tan' may sweat the whole day through without producing such a condition. Why the difference? It is because the sun and air disintegrate and carry away the excretions from the skin of the feet. If they are tightly sealed up in those leather sweat boxes called shoes they are not only denied the benefits of light and air but are forced to remain in their own filthy exudations. Someday man will substitute the sun and air bath for the present water bath."

"The manual labourer goes to work on a hot summer day and sweats profusely throughout the day. His clothes become saturated with sweat. It gives off a very disagreeable odour. The hands and face which have been exposed to the sun and air do not give off such an odour. If one examines he finds the space between the man's body and his clothes occupied by foul hot air and gases which are very repugnant to the olfactory sense. The man is literally wallowing in his own excretions, he has them bound to him by his clothing so that they escape slowly. This is filthy. This same thing is true of every one who wears clothes whether they are 'high collared' financiers or just plain folks. It is not true of those who work without clothing. This condition caused by the clothing weakens the skin. In many cases it is almost dead."

"Man's resistance to atmospheric changes is also lowered to such an extent that every time he meets a sudden change in temperature he suffers. The Indian could travel all day in a blinding snowstorm or swim frozen streams but if his 'pale face' brother attempted this he died a few days later of pneumonia. A skin debilitated by the hot house conditions produced by clothing is not an adequate protection for its owner. The sooner he begins to harden and revive it the better it will be for his health."

"This attitude toward clothes will have to pass away if man is again to enjoy the health and vigour that is his by right. In this we have said nothing about the evils of corsets and high heeled shoes worn by women and the worse styles in men's clothing, as we were dealing with clothes as they exclude the light and air from the body. The effects of these two things are indeed bad."

"So prone are we to regard those conditions under which we are born and reared as natural and to look upon those things which the majority of mankind do as an average as the best for us to do as a whole that almost everyone regards clothing as both natural and best for man.

The fact is, clothing is both artificial and harmful." "In truth man was designed by the Creator to enjoy the direct rays of the sun and the soothing and strengthening influence of the winds over the whole surface of his body. He is by nature a nude animal."

Dr. C. W. Saleeby, wrote in, "Sunlight and Health", " ... this most beautiful, versatile and wonderful organ (skin) is, for the most part, smothered, blanched and blinded in clothes, and can only gradually be restored to the air and light which are its natural surroundings. Then, and only then, we learn what it is capable of."

Arnold Rickli, whose sun and air institution in Switzerland attracted patients from all over the world in the 19th century, wrote: "Man is made to live in the open air; therefore when exposed to the action of light, air and sun, he is in his real element. As a natural agent, water takes only an inferior place, above it comes air, whilst light takes precedence of every other natural agent, and is the greatest essential wherever organic life exists. The nervous system, which is an inherent principle of our organism is acted upon by light, especially through the skin. The purpose of the air treatment is the strengthening of the skin by restoring its natural functions and vitality and elasticity it has absorbed from its primitive state when directly in contact with the skin."

Sylvester Graham, wrote in "Lectures on The Science of Human Life": "If man were always to go entirely naked, the external skin, the anatomical structure and functional character and relations of which we have fully contemplated, would be preserved in a more healthy and vigorous state, And perform its functions more perfectly, and thereby the whole human system in all its properties, powers and interests, would be benefited; the circulation, and particularly the venous circulation which is near the surface, would be more free, full and perfect; respiration or breathing would also be more free, full and perfect; voluntary action would be more u~restrained and easy; the bones would be less liable to disease and distortion; all the muscles of voluntary motion would be better developed and more powerful; in short, the anatomical development and symmetrical proportion, and the physiological power, and functions of every part in the whole system, would be more perfect; and, as a natural consequence, the sensual appetites would be more purely instinctive, and exert a less energetic and despotic influence on the mental and moral faculties, and imagination would be deprived of its greatest power to do evil".

EAT FRUITS & PLANTS TO GET STORED SUN ENERGY

Fruits and plants have the ability to trap and store sun energy. We get our energy from eating fruits and plants. When we eat fruits & green leafy vegetables, we are eating stored sun power.

SUNBATHING HAS BEEN USED TO HEAL, SINCE THE DAWN OF HISTORY

"For untold centuries the sun has been worshipped as the visible symbol of the creative power," wrote Bernarr McFadden.

"From the dawn of history the sun has been utilised specifically as an aid to the restoration of health and as a means of maintaining and increasing it. The ancient, Greeks and Romans, Egyptians and Assyrians, Arabians, Babylonians and Cretan's, the Aztecs, and the early Chinese and Japanese, the inhabitants of India and most of the other nations that were glorious in their day, derived their superb health partly from their contact with the rays of the sun, and healed their ailments by their aid."

HIPPOCRATES, THE FATHER OF MEDICINE, PRACTISED THE SUN-CURE

Hippocrates, "the Father of Medicine", practised the sun-cure in the temple of Esculapius on the island of Cos, in ancient Greece.

Hippocrates used "medicine (drugs) very little but relied upon sunlight, hydrotherapy, diet and water drinking, rest, and gymnastic exercise," wrote Bernarr McFadden. SUNBATHING HELPS EVERYONE LOOK, FEEL, GET AND FUNCTION BETTER

Everyone sick or well, looks better, feels better, gets better and functions better, after exposing every part of their nude bodies to the beautiful sunshine. Sunbathe each moment you can. It helps you in every possible way!

Warning! Blindness can result from doing this wrong! Extensive research could not confirm these claims. Hira Ratan Manek teaches how we can live on just the energy of sunlight and water. He has eaten solid food just five to seven times in the last 10 years. He once fasted under 24-hour medical supervision for more than 200 consecutive days. Solar Healing.com.
Sun-gazing: History

The Sun is the biggest planet in our planetary system. Its circumference is 109 times bigger than that of the earth and it can accommodate 1.3 million Earth's in it. Its distance from our earth is 150 million km and it weighs 333,000 times the weight of the earth. Also, 99.8% of the weight of our planetary system is the sun's weight. Sun continuously sends out fireballs, which are 50,000 km long, 9,000 km wide and whose each jump towards the earth is 200,000 km.  Due to all these magnificent powers of the sun, it is no wonder that it has inspired the mankind throughout the history. It has been worshipped from the earliest of times by many societies living in different parts of the world. Each civilisation had a different story about it.

In ancient Egypt, the sun was worshipped as Ra. Mankind and animals were said to have come into being through his tears. The king himself was believed to be the "Son of Ra". It was also believed that on his death, the king would be re-united with his father, the sun. The pyramids were regarded as a ramp or a means of access to the sky.  Additionally, Ra was believed to travel across the sky in a boat and through the underworld all night. There, in order to rise again the next morning, he had to defeat the evil Apepi. He was represented as rising from the ocean of chaos to greet the world again.

In ancient Greece and Rome, Apollo came to be associated with the sun. In Mesopotamia it was Shamash. The Indian tribes of America have many interesting tales associated with the sun. One of the stories is as follows.

"A long time ago there lived a selfish chief who kept the sun and moon and stars for himself. The world had no light at all. At that time, there lived a raven who wanted to get the light and give it to the world. The raven changed himself into a leaf and was swallowed by the chief's daughter, who became pregnant and soon had a baby. The baby was none other than the raven. The baby could see many bundles hung about in the chief's house and started to cry for them. The chief was an indulgent grandfather and gave the child the first bundle. This was a bag of stars and the raven threw them up the chimney. They quickly arranged themselves in the sky.  The child cried again and this time his grandfather gave him a bundle, which contained the moon. Again the child threw it to the sky. Some time later, the child started to cry again. This time the grandfather gave him the sun and the child quickly changed into a raven and flew out of the window. This was how light came to this world."

Science has proved the need for sunlight for growth, agriculture, health and numerous other aspects of human life. Many of the myths from around the world reflect a belief in the need for sunlight in the greater scheme of things. Indian mythology too understands the role of the sun. It was worshipped as "Surya" in India in ancient times. According to the Indian mythology, Surya was responsible for health and life, a reflection of what was perhaps the scientific belief of the time. Surya is one of the principal vedic deities. He is pictured as riding across the sky on a chariot pulled by seven horses. One wonders the analogy between seven horses and the seven colours of light. There is a practice in getting energy on a temporary basis by the Americas. To get energy for their body, Native Indians take sunbath by standing in the sun for two hours exposing maximum parts of their body and they don't need to eat food on those days.  They sustain on micro food of the sunlight.  When clouds gather we become gloomy.  We see the sun and get energetic.

The HRM phenomenon is in fact a rediscovery of a scientific ritual, which was used to heal physical, mental, emotional and spiritual diseases in ancient times. Ancient Indians called this practice Surya Namaskar, where ancient Egyptians and Americans called it Helio-therapy and Europeans called it Apollo therapy. In the Americas, the sun was also known as INTA.The scientific technique practised by Hira Ratan Manek is how he derives his energy from the solar energy of the sun. Mankind is also using solar energy for running solar cookers, solar heaters, and solar cars. Similarly, what HRM does is to convert himself into a solar car by using sunlight. Traditionally, human beings eat secondary sources of energy as the plants and other vegetation depends heavily on the sun for their growth, simply put, the idea here is to learn how to absorb energy from the primary source, that is, the sun itself.
There is a scientific explanation of what may be occurring during the exercise of this method. Since the brain is a powerful recipient and the retina and the pineal gland (third eye) being equipped with photoreceptor cells, a kind of photo analysis could be taking place during the Surya Namaskar, which provides a person with all kinds of energy and vitamins that are required for the proper functioning of his internal organs. Additionally, the rays of the sun with seven colours have a cure for all kinds of diseases such as Alzheimer's Disease , Parkinsonism, obesity, arthritis, osteoporosis, cancer and others.  If world peace is to be achieved, everyone should have a perfect balance of mind. Thus, this method can also contribute to the world peace.

"I had a dream my life would be different from this hell I am living, so different from what it seemed. Now life has killed the dream I dreamed." Victor Hugo

So, then .... Now what?  What can I do.?  No one can keep withstanding this pain.  Why do I keep trying to get my kids to see what is real!  Why do my children think that Brice is a loser?

A lot appear to have this opinion of him.  Why?  I don't care for this because it is in the past and he has proven to me and the world that this is not the way he chose or now chooses to live.   He has paid his debt to society.  Society in fact OWES HIM BELIEVE ME.

I love the man who Brice is.  This man has withstood the kind of pain that would have crippled and crushed the average person completely.  He withstood all of this before his tenth birthday.  He lived through it and he turned his back on society for sometime because of it and because that is what you do when your soul is just that crushed.

Here is a man who has triumphed over one of the greatest injustice's life can throw at you.  A childhood in hell.  Pure hell in fact.  Picture what you think is a hellish childhood.  My childhood  was pretty bad not living with my parents and being brought up harshly.  I know this!  My life was a Sunday School picnic next to Brice's childhood.  I do not say this lightly as I cry often about my lost childhood.  The one I never had.

There are not many human beings in the world who have the fortitude to withstand this kind of pain and the negative consequences it inadvertently brings with it.   Brice has.   Brice did  even better than that, he broke the cycle.  I love him for respecting me so highly.  For taking the utmost care of me.  For loving me when it sure isn't easy when I cry everyday.

When you try to figure out everything, you’re exalting your reasoning above God’s thoughts and plans for your life.

I am continually tormented in my mind because of its sheer inquisitiveness.  This has to stop because after all this time it doesn't matter anymore how it happened, it happened and that is really all I can think about it.  The situations of the past are exactly that, past.  They need to be left there in the past.  Today I will attempt to do this with the help of creation to soothe my weary mind.

When I visited the beautiful rock pools pictured above I had the best time.  I was rejuvenated and refreshed from just spending a day in such a place of sheer beauty.  The true handiwork of God.  I was really awestruck by what was around me that it was impossible for any bad thoughts to hyjack my mind that day.  This is why I say I will let nature heal me.  At least the parts nature can, the rest is up to me.

Open up Sydneys Ugly places for Art sake and the sake of our kids lives.

LOCATION  - 39 Phillip St, Newtown

A boy died in a tunnel in the western suburbs of Sydney doing graffiti  recently .  He was hit by a suburban train.  This only highlights the lunacy that surrounds the council bylaws that prohibit the youth doing graffiti in safe places.  Further pushing them to ply their craft in dangerous places.  They do this so their artwork stays and isn't taken down the next day.

This highlights that there will always been huge chasms between conformist ideas and those ideas that of others who vary vastly.  At my age I can only see more heartache arising as more lives are lost needlessly because older people on councils cannot understand that there will always be something about youth that they just don't like and legislating against it ludicrous.
