Don't force yourself to those who don't like you ....

Truth Follower: Don't force yourself to those who don't like you:

The only people I want in my life are the ones who truly want me in theirs.
Life is too short to keep people who are not worthy of my attention and friendship.

Too much love never spoils children. Children become spoiled when we substitute presents for presence!

~ Dr Anthony P Witham ~

Montana kissing mummy 2
Montana - her soul restored my faith ... in love and so many other things.
I love that she did this and she hasn't faltered.  Just wish I was worthy.

I used to love to kiss my babies ... I remember the sad day when it happened that I could no longer kiss Montana's older sister Matilda.  She, like all of my children used to love kisses. But, one day her father said in front of her, "She will hate you kissing her that much."

It was as though she fully understood what he was saying.  It was almost instantaneous, she never kissed me again. She was two and a half years old.  She understood this saddened me and made her father happy so she learned to play games early.

I never recovered from the grief of this moment and it still lingers today like the smell of a dead animal, strong and painful to bare.  I forgave her father for this a long time ago because I hope he did not mean for this travesty to occur.  If he did - he is evil and the damage can never be fixed.

"We only hurt others because we don't love ourselves. Learning to truly love yourself changes your relationship with everyone."

Love and Respect belong hand in hand.
If you love and respect yourself then its not such a great leap to be able to love and respect others also.  One has to love thyself and know thyself before they attempt to mix it successfully with other resonating characters of various degrees and various levels.  It is akin to music because the tone has to be balanced.

I suppose that since most of our hurts come through relationships so will our healing, and I know that grace rarely makes sense for those looking in from the outside.

I tend to think that all emotional hurt comes from a relational aspect or the abject lack of thus same.  Alone, we do not have the issues of relationship we do with others but being alone is  not without pain also.  All connections in the world are relational in nature.

When relationships fail, the fall out can be likened to an Atomic Bomb being let off.   The fall out from this can be far reaching.  The smoke blinds the foolish and the sound confused others, and the hole that is left is a pitfall for others.  If you happen to fall into the hole that is left behind and there sits a victim of the former relationship at the bottom of that hole, tread carefully with both eyes wide open.

Stand and Protect Love and Respect

Good counsel for men . .
The elders say the men should look at woman in a sacred way.  The men should never put woman down or shame them in any way.  When we have problems, we should seek their counsel.  We should share with them openly.
A woman has intuitive thought.  She has access to another system of knowledge that few men develop.  She can help us understand. We must treat her in a good way.

It has been long said that men and woman are different creatures, hence the best selling book from the 1980's  Men are from Mars / Woman are from Venus by John Gray.  This author went to a lot of trouble to point out to each species these obvious abject differences that create some confusion.

The confusion that is reigning is because there is no initiation into manhood or womanhood and no storytelling like ancient cultures used to pass on the secrets of a happy life with either a man or with a woman, this knowledge was passed on by elders. The world has largely lost this connection to the planet and a healthy life trough storytelling.
It was a helpful book to read, especially learning how men do not see everything connected the way woman do. It was correct to say also that men put their issues into separate drawers or boxes etc and their issues seemingly don't impact on other issues they may have simultaneously.

Men don't like to talk as much as woman do and usually men find sitting around a kitchen table drinking tea quite boring, and rightly so.  We woman sort the world out around that table, but it is a very different way as to how men handle issues.

Men like to deal with it not talk about it.  Men want to save woman, all very natural feelings but somehow with modern life these instincts have gotten messy.  Gray sorts this nicely if you read his work. I enjoyed it.

Knowing when to walk away, is wisdom. Being able to, is courage. Walking away with your head held high is dignity.

I remember when I wanted to leave my marriage for years and for the life of me I just didn't know how to do that and no matter how many times I contemplated this,  it was never any easier.  I am still not good at walking away, but I am a little more practiced these days.

If someone sticks by your side through your worst times, then they definitely deserve to be with you through your good times.

~ Unknown ~

Sticky Notes

One can look at the word deserve here.  How does one deserve?  Where is the scale and is there even such a thing?

Many wives live through excessively heavy duty times with young children and lack of funds for do-able projects that make life a little easier for the family.

I noticed this with Paul Hogan.
His first wife Noelene was married to him for years and lived in housing commision and had very little but she said she was happy.  Hoges cracks it big after a Winfield advertisement and leaves Noelene behind.

Noelene said after the divorce:
"I had him when he was young, virile and handsome. He's still got a good butt and good legs but she's got him in older times when all he wants to do is sit around the house and not go out. I was the one who had the best years of his life".
I tend to agree with this and can vouch for her feelings being left in the same position myself after 28 years of marriage.  Watching all your hard work wasted.  That bit is hard to take. It reminds me of watching your house burn down in front of you.

Destiny decides who touches your life. Your heart decides who touches your soul.

A word of advice...  always let light of truth shine on all that you do.

IMG 8988 Grassy Knoll at the Beach
Light, my light, the world-filling light, the eye-kissing light, heart-sweetening light!
Ah, the light dances, my darling, at the center of my life;
the light strikes, my darling, the chords of my love; the sky opens,
the wind runs wild, laughter passes over the earth.

The butterflies spread their sails on the sea of light.
Lilies and jasmines surge up on the crest of the waves of light.
The light is shattered into gold on every cloud, my darling, and it scatters gems in profusion.
Mirth spreads from leaf to leaf, my darling, and gladness without measure.
The heaven's river has drowned its banks and the flood of joy is abroad.

TRAITOR: A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within.

CiceroCicero (Photo credit: tonynetone) For the traitor appears not as a traitor, but speaks in accents familiar to his citizens and wears their face and their arguments. He appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation and works secretly to undermine the pillars of the city, infecting the body politic so that it can no longer resist.
Cicero 106 - 43 BC

I draw a lot from Cicero in what he say's here.  The first is the adage that a freak does not walk around with the word "freak" written on their foreheads in plain view.  This is a common mistake.  They are amongst us everywhere,  they are next to you at the school, the
shopping centers and in your own family even.

IMG 1879 Half and Half
The second thing I see is that traitorish behaviors cause a house to divide.  A house divided on itself cannot stand.  Perhaps this is why being a traitor is so effective in this modern warfare world.

Trust
is also an issue regarding traitors.  For some of us who trust not, then the trust thing will not swoon us into a false reality.  Trust is something that is learned in the first year of life, and if you don't learn it then, you in fact never do learn it. not the way others do.

I understand this type of treatment very well indeed.   The ones who befriend you to find out what you know and who you know,  these are dangerous people.  I have had people close to me fall for underhanded tricks just like this festooned by others in the attempt to catch them out and off guard.   It worked too, that is what bothers me the most.

I will be ever vigilant in keeping a watchful eye on this in my own life.   I think everyone should be aware of this as a possible posed threat by today's standards!  No one is safe, not in your own town or your own country!
I cite our own Prime Minister as an example: Julia has not done the right thing by anyone and Kevin Rudd must be thinking she is a traitor by now surely.  In the USA,  the people see their president Obama as a traitor.  Obama has certainly displayed all the characteristics of such.  He has systematically sold out and is now preparing to go to war.
It will be the Zionist  WWIII and the USA and Israel will call it on Iraq.  Why?  Oil - that is only ever the reason the US goes to war.  No one trusts them anymore.  Well our government does,  but do I trust our government?  Rhetorical question and so you don't need to answer this as its self explanatory!
These greedy miserly creatures appear to come from outta space.  They appear to have no heart and are of a breed of cold bloods.
SO CHANGE MUST HAPPEN and Happen fast....The only thing standing in the way of progress and change are those who believe it cannot happen. The only thing stopping it from happening tomorrow morning is the misguided and mistaken belief that it cannot happen. - The Soothsayer

Cranky Old Man

A poetic take on the golden rule of life and doing unto others.

IMG 5603 Lasagne layers of nature
Lots of Old men come here to fish
Cranky Old Man

What do you see nurses?....
        What do you see?
What are you thinking . . . . . .
         when you're looking at me?
A cranky old man . . . . . .
          not very wise,
Uncertain of habit . . . . . .
          with faraway eyes?
Who dribbles his food . . . . . .
          and makes no reply.
When you say in a loud voice . . . . . .'
           I do wish you'd try!'
Who seems not to notice . . . . . .
           the things that you do.
And forever is losing . . . . . .
           A sock or shoe?
Who, resisting or not . . . . . .
lets you do as you will,
With bathing and feeding . . . . . .
           The long day to fill?
Is that what you're thinking? . . . . . .
            Is that what you see?
Then open your eyes, nurse . . . . .
            you're not looking at me.
I'll tell you who I am . . . . . .
As I sit here so still,
As I do at your bidding . . . . . .
as I eat at your will.
I'm a small child of Ten . . . . . .
             with a father and mother,
Brothers and sisters . . . . . .
             who love one another
A young boy of Sixteen . . . . . .
               with wings on his feet
Dreaming that soon now . . . . . .
               a lover he'll meet.
A groom soon at Twenty . . . . . .
                my heart gives a leap.
Remembering, the vows . . . . . .
                that I promised to keep.
At Twenty-Five, now . . . . .
.I have young of my own.
Who need me to guide . . . . . .
                And a secure happy home.
A man of Thirty . . . . . .
                My young now grown fast,
Bound to each other . . . . . .
                With ties that should last.
At Forty, my young sons . . . . . .
                 have grown and are gone,
But my woman is beside me . . . . . .
                 to see I don't mourn.
At Fifty, once more . . . . . .
                 Babies play 'round my knee,
Again, we know children . . . . . .
                  My loved one and me.
Dark days are upon me . . . . . .
                  My wife is now dead.
I look at the future . . . . . .
                  I shudder with dread.
For my young are all rearing . . . . . .
                   young of their own.
And I think of the years . . . . . .
And the love that I've known.
I'm now an old man . . . . . .
                  and nature is cruel.
It's jest to make old age . . . . . .
                   look like a fool.
The body, it crumbles . . . . . .
                   grace and vigor, depart.
There is now a stone . . . . .
where I once had a heart.
But inside this old carcass . . . . . .
                  A young man still dwells,
And now and again . . . . . .
                 my battered heart swells
I remember the joys . . . . .
                 .I remember the pain.
And I'm loving and living . . . . . .
                  life over again.
I think of the years, all too few . . . . . .
                  gone too fast.
And accept the stark fact . . . . . .
                  that nothing can last.
So open your eyes, people . . . . . .
                  open and see.
Not a cranky old man . . . . . .
                   Look closer . . . . . .see . . . . . .ME!!
This poem has been traveling around the internet and is reported to have come from an unknown geriatric patient in so many towns now as reported below.   I think the world is in a poor state if there are that many sad old men in that many towns.  It is a poem to teach humility!  Humble yourself today. Take notice of people when they are alive and well and able to talk and communicate.

Don't wait until they are dead.  When a person is dead there is no more communication on this level.  So many I have known have taken their own lives.  I cry for the ones who do this, it is a silent and final plea to be really heard.
All of the beautiful spiritual people around and still they were not a solution to the madness that overcomes those who are damaged and sad.  Posh ladies colleges, boarding schools in the country,  Private expensive elite education.  So  growing the hair into dreads isn't going to eliminate from where you emanate.  Its the black heart of society that you will never become fair no matter how many feathers in your hair or the length of  faerie dresses you wear.

[When an old man died in the geriatric ward of a nursing home in an Australian country town, it was believed that he had nothing left of any value. Later, when the nurses were going through his meager possessions, they found this poem.
Its quality and content so impressed the staff that copies were made and distributed to every nurse in the hospital. One nurse took her copy to Melbourne. The old man's sole bequest to posterity has since appeared in the Christmas editions of magazines around the country and appearing in mags for Mental Health.
A slide presentation has also been made based on his simple, but eloquent, poem. And this old man, with nothing left to give to the world, is now the author of this 'anonymous' poem winging across the Internet.]

A relationship without trust is like a car without gas. You can stay in it as long as you want, but it won’t go anywhere.

The couple that fights the most is the one most in love… it shows they care enough to notice the other one screwed up and care enough to mention it to the person so they can fix it.

When you stop fighting it means you stopped caring.

I forgive my children for the lack of face to face or even the chance to speak to them to give them my side of this deal I call life.
I am a good person and there is absolutely nothing wrong with me.  I don't take drugs and I  am not an alcoholic and I smoke a couple of ciggy's a day.  I grow vegetables and go for long walks and photograph masses of great natural phenomena.  I care for my environment.  I love my planet.  I am good to my animals.   I have a clean and tidy house and I take pride in my skills as a craftsperson and artist.  I volunteer in the community each week.  I  love music and support young aussie hip hop artists to achieve their dreams where ever I can possibly assist during the course of my love of music and our radio show called Melonpop Drive. 2bbb Fridays at 4pm.  93.3fm 107.3fm  or 2bbb.net.au
The world is a strange place indeed.  I find it very confusing indeed to live inside the constraints of what others refer to as normal.  I have never subscribed to certain things in my life and this has served me well and therefore I trust my intuition and I will not be changing this part in a hurry.  I listen to my intuition it speaks truth.  I blink and I think this is keeping my body in a form of beat or wave from the light that I see.

This is my pondering for the day.  Why, other than the obvious reasons of moisture and dust etc do we have the blinking motion to our eyes?   Blinking is like an emotional  beat.  It beats, and this regulates the wave of light rays in through the eyes and on to the brain and the receptors affected by the light.   This is my hypothesis on why we blink.

Everything in our body has multiple functions.  I  am astounded at the many similarities I am seeing and the exact mathematical equivalents all through the body.  It has like a blueprint that is more complex than the DNA.  I wonder how I could prove such a thing.  I would need to study people blinking and their emotional health etc down to each detail.  They would need to be all wired up to do this and that isnt a pretty site in my mind at all.  But still, it would be fascinating.  My children said I would never pay the bills thinking about such things.  My children are wise.  I have failed to pay any bills with my thinking.  On the other side of that coin, I have saved myself the ordeal of feeling conned by the rhetoric we are fed through the media and the lack of independent thinking and the lack of being an individual.

I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody. ..Bill Cosby

If you're the one who is always last to leave the job or the work place, you could be a people pleaser.  If your children treat you poorly and carry on about how they are entitled to this and that and you allow this to happen, this is clear people pleasing.  Did you walk away from your marriage and still don't understand what the heck happened, yes you may well be one of these "People Pleaser's".

The people pleaser's of the world struggle with a life of trying to get approval from others. Sometimes this group of people attempt to meet this need by doing  and going over the top.  They cannot seem to say no to people!  Even when they should say no they find themselves accepting another engagement or job or project or volunteering on another committee.  These personality types often suffer emotionally with co-dependent issues concurrently.  The People Pleaser personality has a real fear of failure.  They will kill themselves trying to hide the fact that they have any imperfections.
Where does this start?  My guess is this sort of behaviour is instigated in childhood.

I usually find the issue was a form of abuse in the past history of the "Pleaser".  This person learned as a child to do what had to be done to keep the peace.  Enabling the abuser to carry on abusing.  This is then carried on into the adult life of the person because it is so firmly entrenched into the persons being.  They become one and the same and even the "Pleaser" sees their behaviours as likeable.  They have a strong tendency to get mixed up about being loved and about being needed, often making poor choices because of this.

Build strong relationships with your children, don't be afraid to confront the ones who have hurt you or treated you poorly.  This is one of the hardest ones. Confrontation.  People pleaser's hate confrontation. Break the cycle if this has been what has happened in your family.

Never be too proud to ask for help (especially for directions, ahem). (Ashley V., 23)

God gave us a tongue and we need to remember to use it!  A big ship is steered by a small rudder.

It is St Valentines Day today.  Today is the 14th of February once more.  Today from the wisdom of a 90 year old lady we hear that we should not be afraid to ask for direction or ask for help.

I think we should never be afraid to speak and ask for directions in all things in life and not just geographically speaking.  Direction is what we are all heading in.  We are heading in some direction.  Sometimes we know which direction we are going and sometimes we just have faith that the direction is ok.

All through the ancient writings there is talk of teamwork.  That isn't an accident in my opinion.  Someone realised a long long time ago that two are better than one.  Ask for counsel and ask for help when you need it.  There is nothing wrong with this as this is the way that true knowledge and wisdom is passed from generation to generation.

Never be afraid to speak your truth.  Even the person down the street from you, they too have a  story to tell.  Speak up when your spirit tells you inside that something is just not right, chances are you won't be alone and if its true then others will feel the same.

If you love someone, tell them that you love them.  Let them know they are loved!  We are given the gift of speech as humans.  We are doubly lucky there because we can say as well as show that we love.  So please tell the ones you love today that this is how you feel.

I love many things.  I love many people.  I love many songs.  I love Gaia.

I love me, because I am special to this universe as such simply on the grounds that God don't make no crap.  All of everything in creation has a purpose and therefore with this in mind I too have a purpose and it is real and tangible.  It is God given and it has been waiting to happen since the dawn of creation.   I was born for such a day as this.  I love that scripture / Esther 4:14..  such a time.

This is the time for when it was that I shall make my entrance to this stage of life in this small increment of Universe as we humanly know it but spiritually we know its  so much greater.   I love to greet the sunshine each dawn. Proof that this place we reside is a phenomenal piece of work.
