The issue of Gay Marriage should be between a man and a woman"

~ Arnold Schwarzenegger ~

Job Butler b.1842 d.1929 (Samuel's Brother) & daughter,
Job Butler

I hope you are laughing because that is a quote from Arnie and its one of those foot in your mouth situations where once its said that's it, it can't be un said.  Anyway, I thought it was funny enough to include here.  To finish it off here is a run down on a man and a woman as Arnie calls them.  I wonder what they would have thought of gay marriage?

Job Butler was my Great Grandfather Edward Butler's brother.  Edward married Christina Flint and they lived outside of Stanthorpe in NSW at an area known as Maryland.   He was not as known as a Job who was considered a pioneer of the Stanthorpe area.  So these folk here are my relatives and this is my Great Great Uncle. I am fairly sure these two brothers father's name was Samuel Butler and Samuel was the first veterinarian in Armidale NSW.

Samuel Butler married Patience Taylor of Rimbanda a property outside of Armidale on the road which is now known as the New England Highway.  This property was just south of Uralla NSW.

So there is no more to say but to understand there is much to learn in walking it out and going through what it is that we must traverse in life to give us the lessons we need.  This my beloved enemies whom I am well pleased for they teach me the most.

The first step is to recognise that this is very real and it is a lesson for me and for all of those I come into contact with as well.  The lesson is simple, its not what we go through but how we deal with what we go through that matters.  In the past I have been less than gracious, others have been deceitful and still again others have simply been along for the ride.

I have sat and perched for some time and I waited patiently for others to make changes because I know all change changes everything and this didn't happen so there is no other recourse but to do the movement or action myself  .... all things in the universe are governed by movement, and this situation is no different as it also requires movement by me.

“As soon as you honor the present moment, all unhappiness and struggle dissolve, and life begins to flow with joy and ease. When you act out the present-moment awareness, whatever you do becomes imbued with a sense of quality, care, and love – even the most simple action.”

Today is the day that most of Australia celebrates Christmas.  I stopped doing this although I still would love to spend this time with family.  I no longer participate in the corporate model the economic Christmas which it has become.  It is the story of Christ and it was traditionally a mass in the Catholic Church and therefore I conscientiously object.

Krystos which means Oil in the Greek language, this is real or Krystalla light too however  much has been changed from what the true meanings were portraying with the original writings.  These horrid and misleading translations are compliments of the Roman Catholic Church to which all other Christian religions flowed from that are in our midst today.   This version is a feint and empty example of what true spirituality is.

Taking out of the Septuagint any writings from the Hebrew Canons regarding reincarnation must have been done purposefully and maliciously because it is used to control the people with fear instead of the people understanding the true meaning of life and the lessons we are here on the Earth plane of time to learn.  These lessons in turn lead us to evolve on to a higher plane of existence with our spirit body.  All the time working our our Karma as some like to call this.  It is working out our action and reaction and whether or not we learned from what we were born out of.

The bible quotes to 'work out your salvation in fear and trembling'.  Phillipians 2:12.  I think this is akin to work or action and words.  One cannot say they want to do something and make no physical action towards this happening.  "One must walk it out to work it out" is what I think about life.

Today, we did something that affirmed this for my partner and myself as we walked it out and made a commitment to our future together, at Deepwater.

Things are changing so fast in my life at the present moment.  I am not personally making some of these decisions that are being made around me, but they do affect me.   All I have to do is keep my attitude in check. I am absolutely aware of it.

Its not easy being the only one left standing and the power base moved to four against one.  That sucks but in lieu of feeling rotten I have decided to change my attitude to this.  I let this make me annoyed enough to do something about it.   Stay tuned because exciting and awesome big things are around the corner in 2015.

If others mistreated you in the past it doesn’t mean you have to be a conduit that allows them continuity in that hurt.
Forgiveness sounds wishy washy.  It's not, it simply takes the power out of the hurtful persons sails by not allowing their destructive actions to have any power over you any further into the future.  Its a nicer way of sorting it for yourself.
I do tend to think that the old eye for an eye technique has merit though.  Its akin to recognising all peoples sovereignty and their rights to protect themselves against an enemy or force.
Sovereign in this sense means nothing rules over me.

Our world is a manifestation of relativity.

~ Alan Watts ~

IMG 5046 Familiar site in Western NSW
There is no life without water on all levels.

The connection that life has to water is the same relationship as the warp and the weft of the weave have to each other.  The weft and the weave as two go together to form material.  Alone they are a bunch of threads.

We need water!  That is a given. There is no life without water.  That is what water gives us - Life. My thoughts jump to the symbiosis of this situation and given that all things in nature have a pay off.  I think people reduce this down to an adage of "You win some, you lose some".  There is no birth without death, that is how it works with nature.  Back to the original question. If water gives us life, what do we give water in that equation?

What benefit does water get from humanity?

I was thinking deeply about this principal and with my curious mind, I wonder what do we do that benefits water.   What is that particular association on that level?   Any thoughts?

The only thing I could ascertain was "Protection".  Perhaps this is the pay off.  Perhaps we are to protect the water and perhaps that is the only thing we can do in return for our life.

“Pain speaks louder than words ever could. Like most things it serves as both messenger and a symbol.”

~  Quote  by Brandi L. Bates ~

IRONY
 by Mary Ellen Peters

This was a painful day.  (Pictured)   This entire day was symbolical on numerous levels. Some easily seen, others more cryptic.  The sheer irony of having such a brutal task force, the Public Order and Riot Squad better known as PORS  used on peaceful people speaks volumes about our society we live in.  This was the 7th January 2013, Glenugie NSW.

That was nearly two years ago.  What has transpired since that day we got the rude awakening that people are a disposable commodity? Brute force was used on both the elderly and very young people who were peacefully protesting.  The brutes were sent there to do this job at the bequest of a proven corrupt police minister Mike Gallacher.  He resigned after ICAC because he was taking pay-off money from high places.

The chaos this caused was immense.  But it never changed a thing.    The present government have passed even more serious legislation regarding protesting of our basic human rights since that event at Glenugie in January 2013.

So on reflection, I wonder is it a society that no longer cares for its people?  Is it because corporations have taken over that job?  These are clearly the false man we were warned about.   The messages were crystal.   Corporate advantage and over-legislation and that leads to the  people being under oppression.

This had all the earmarks that symbolized Fascism had come to town.  I don't say this lightly.  I looked long and hard at this and I think its Say good bye, because the carnival is over.   The ordinary people of Australia are in for a big shock if it continues to play out in the direction it is taking to date. The situation will worsen rapidly from this level onwards.  The writing is on the wall, this is already happening.  I sight Dr Pascoe's Plea - Letter to all Australians, this highlighted that side of a huge problem that is simply enormous, but its only one in the bubbling foul soup of oppression which highlights the use of fascist model by government.

Although this blog post primarily deals with the domestic situation we are facing, it is equally horrendous and in some places far worse for people the world over.  We are in this boat together with our brothers and sisters right across the planet.  All countries are struggling with similar issues.

Here in Australia:

What sort of State Government is this that we have bearing down on us now?  A state government that still panders to the corporate giants, they are the only winners here.  Governments are voted in by the people to administrate and speak for us, the people of Australia.  In a cruel twist when elected they change their agenda and leave the people hanging out to dry with no recourse.  A clearly corrupt way of dealing with a country an or state.  Reminiscent of ancient Rome, ordinary people become criminals.

The corruption surrounding the N.S.W politicians regarding scandalous donations and mining approvals have a common hashtag, #corruption.  What information the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) uncovered should have been enough information to assist those who were in a position to prosecute join the dots here.  They haven't joined the dots though.  The new premier and the relatively new Cabinet have done nothing to halt the massacre of the state.

Instead, it appears to have hastened the destruction of peoples rights and the rights of the environment with the installation of a cut throat premier who would privatize his own Mother if it was found to be economically viable and approve a license for her even if she were legally blind.

What has transpired is the exact opposite of how people thought the election and new governments at both Federal and State level would play out.  The governments policies have left people feeling ripped off, disillusioned and thoroughly hopeless in some cases. The First peoples and the Farmers are both being hunted from the land on both sides of the country simultaneously, and this is no mistake.

Join the dots here.  Big corporations appear to be pulling the strings behind both of those socioeconomic groups becoming alienated from their homes.  The very basics of food shelter being stripped from them like property from a criminal entering prison.  They are left with nothing.

All of this goes on while a certain percentage of current and ex politicians continue feathering their own nests with the revolving door from government to the mining and related industries.  They take positions as CEO's, Lobbyists or Advisers. Quoting Mark Vaile as a local example of this.

These lucrative positions they take up have a remuneration that demands these people be transparent and accountable to the Australian people.  And,  if the decisions politicians approve in government to which they lobbied heavily for are found to be negligent, then this should trigger an act of equal personal punitive action taken against them.

It should be a punishment that is felt personally for the act of negligence caused to the State or Country (to the people and environment).  It is the politicians responsibility at the end of the day and therefore they should be deemed culpable for these decisions.  There has to be accountability to make this cease.

The people, on the other hand, rarely ever get what they really want.  Its been set up this way.  The Westminster system of law and government is a direct blue print of the kings court and the Church and in particular the Catholic Church.

In reality what we have  is a dialectic choice, a false choice.  Both doors lead to the same place and it only looks like we got the choice we wanted.  This is what happens when the system is reduced down to two major parties.  Then there are the Greens and Independents doing deals with the two major parties in the corrupt numbers game  called preferences.  That system is dodgy as a three legged chair.  Its corrupt.  It is clearly a dialectic choice at the end of the day with all decisions on all matters at all levels of government.

I see a status commonality with politicians to Catholic Priests.  A priest can be a nobody and rise to the position in the church of Bishop and henceforth dine with politicians and  royalty.   Equally so, a lower  to  middle class narcissist with a chip on his shoulder could study economics and law, become a politician in the junior ranks with one specific purpose in mind - to climb a personal ladder of success in public office and be full of self importance with no care taken.

Did they miss the Introductory Lesson on "What it takes to be in Public Office"?   Clearly all of our current politicians have. The lessons where this job they take up going into public office is supposed to be done with integrity and not for any personal benefit.  The current model of remuneration for politicians pay does not promote integrity.  It promotes corruption because of the vast amounts of money involved in their positions.  This in turn also fosters into them  a very false sense of reality, money does that.

Initially, there is an apparent gaping void in a politicians true understanding when it comes to what real people are actually negotiating trying to survive this. Its shaky ground to raise a family and hang onto risky employment.  There is still more darkness at the next turn.  The fact that these same families cannot get a mortgage, reason is always the same - the employment is not stable enough doesn't help anyone.

So in the end these families continue to pay over inflated strangling rents to opportunistic land lords and never get ahead?  Its a grim reality for the average person who is now dubbed the working poor.

Further to all of  this, overpaid politicians have no concept of what reality is either.  The reality of trying to find the intestinal fortitude to not give in when everything continues to get grimmer looking out from the peoples eyes.

The overpaid public servants rise from slumber relatively care free in their mornings.   Breakfast prepared and a car waiting to drive them.   The politicians morning is a far cry from reality for a young family in Australia today. The latter open their eyes to the same hell day in day out.   In their mornings  they get up and struggle to find some hope in this endless chaos of rising prices and ever shrinking employment environment.

This is the chaos government and previous governments have created with their bully boy politics and dogmatic over legislation leading to Fascism.

Selling education is a huge part of this and one of the nastiest turns made.  It is full of devious flaws difficult to see, education is where fashions in thinking are formed.  Even though it is flawed they still managed to do a great sales pitch and sell it into the Australian people.  This is a travesty.  Education  at all levels should be freely available and or affordable to all.  Manipulation of education via the act of corporate sponsorship of education is another terrifying prospect looming. This too has already been touted as a possibility by the government earlier this year.

People who have studied anthropology and history in any capacity know that when a society gets to this point it implodes.   Fascism drains the very creative essence from the people.  In turn, this drains the same creative essence from the earth rendering the Earth organism under great stress.  All things have an equal and opposite effect. Nothing happens with out there being a change in the Universe somewhere else.  All things are connected.

The key for people to survive this is to make the leaps in thinking and know who thy enemy really is.  If people continue to trust in a flawed system, they are as much part of the problem as the establishment elite are.   There is no time left for them to continue half baked and the time is running out for the comfortable who live amongst us.  Decisions have to be made.

We can no longer whinge about politics guided by economics  while we continue to encourage youth to start their adult life owing the government an obscene amount in a HecS debt for a flawed university education.  Doing this is kidding yourself because in truth it is re-iterating the very same nightmare.

As parent's it cannot possibly help the end situation by encouraging the youth to take up positions in the army services.   These are the foot soldiers for the ones that create wars that we do not own and should not be bullied into joining.

The wars generate billions of dollars profit for the very corporations the people are protesting against, these are the ones who are mining the land in all the capacities in which they are.  We are funding them in one end with our spending habits, and we continue this on with encouragement and hero worship of our servicemen and women.  They are heroes, they have seen awful things.  But why?

By directing youth to the armed services for normal employment is to send them to become human fodder and treated as collateral damage in wars that didn't really ever concern this land .  Wars, the people are gaining an understanding are not fought over what governments say they are being fought over.

At the end of the day  the wars on the planet are about land and that extends out to land for mining.  Mining that is being done by corporations who are the very corporations that are connected to the ones doing the damage in Australia.  Right now we have just experienced corporate terrorism against the farmers of Australia

Corporations are in all facets of our life.  School, University, the Library, Councils, Doctors, Hospitals, Police, Churches, Government Departments / all levels and the list goes on.  With this push to mold everything in our lives to the corporate model, we seriously risk losing ourselves.   There has to be a point where people understand the ramifications of these base actions we take in this equation of living.  Nothing can change unless we look at this and take responsibility for our actions on a personal level and not carry this onto another generation.

Merchandising misfortune.
Petrarch's Bio
Petrarch was born in the Tuscan city of Arezzo in 1304. He was the son of Ser Petracco and his wife Eletta Canigiani. His given name was Francesco Petracco. The name was Latinized to Petrarca. Petrarch's younger brother was born in Incisa in Val d'Arno in 1307. Dante was a friend of his father.
Petrarch spent his early childhood in the village of Incisa, near Florence. He spent much of his early life at Avignon and nearby Carpentras, where his family moved to follow Pope Clement V who moved there in 1309 to begin the Avignon Papacy.

He studied law at the University of Montpellier (1316–20) and Bologna (1320–23) with a lifelong friend and schoolmate called Guido Sette. Because his father was in the profession of law he insisted that Petrarch and his brother study law also.

Petrarch however was primarily interested in writing and Latin literature and considered these seven years wasted. Additionally he proclaimed that through legal manipulation his guardians robbed him of his small property inheritance in Florence, which only reinforced his dislike for the legal system. Wikipedia

He protested:
"I couldn't face making a merchandise of my mind", as he viewed the legal system as the art of selling justice

I  write often of greed being an addiction. It is one of the addictions that people refuse to look at usually.  It is socially acceptable, it makes you look good, new everything always does.  It is disguised as success.

Now its crunch time because everyone has to look at their spending habits.  The trouble is coming down fast around the world.  The trouble in politics has made everything we have ever known uncertain and there are people rising up all over the planet - they are all saying the same thing in different languages, they are all saying "Enough is Enough".  The People get the government they deserve is a saying I have heard and I would say this is true because the blind who crave money voted with $$$ signs in their eyes.

Plutarch obviously saw the same things in his time, so it would be safe to say "Nothing has changed".

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

~ by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe ~

Cirrus Irridescence.

That old sorcerer has vanished
And for once has gone away!
Spirits called by him, now banished,
My commands shall soon obey.
Every step and saying
That he used, I know,
And with sprites obeying
My arts I will show.

    Flow, flow onward
    Stretches many
    Spare not any
    Water rushing,
    Ever streaming fully downward
Toward the pool in current gushing.

Come, old broomstick, you are needed,
Take these rags and wrap them round you!
Long my orders you have heeded,
By my wishes now I've bound you.
Have two legs and stand,
And a head for you.
Run, and in your hand
Hold a bucket too.

    Flow, flow onward
    Stretches many,
    Spare not any
    Water rushing,
    Ever streaming fully downward
Toward the pool in current gushing.

See him, toward the shore he's racing
There, he's at the stream already,
Back like lightning he is chasing,
Pouring water fast and steady.
Once again he hastens!
How the water spills,
How the water basins
Brimming full he fills!

    Stop now, hear me!
    Ample measure
    Of your treasure
    We have gotten!
Ah, I see it, dear me, dear me.
    Master's word I have forgotten!

Ah, the word with which the master
Makes the broom a broom once more!
Ah, he runs and fetches faster!
Be a broomstick as before!
Ever new the torrents
That by him are fed,
Ah, a hundred currents
Pour upon my head!

    No, no longer
    Can I please him,
    I will seize him!
    That is spiteful!
    My misgivings grow the stronger.
What a mien, his eyes how frightful!

Brood of hell, you're not a mortal!
Shall the entire house go under?
Over threshold over portal
Streams of water rush and thunder.
Broom accurst and mean,
Who will have his will,
Stick that you have been,
Once again stand still!

Can I never, Broom, appease you?
    I will seize you,
    Hold and whack you,
    And your ancient wood
    I'll sever,
With a whetted axe I'll crack you.

He returns, more water dragging!
Now I'll throw myself upon you!
Soon, 0 goblin, you'll be sagging.
Crash! The sharp axe has undone you.
What a good blow, truly!
There, he's split, I see.
Hope now rises newly,
And my breathing's free.

    Woe betide me!
    Both halves scurry
    In a hurry,
    Rise like towers
    There beside me.
    Help me, help, eternal powers!

Off they run, till wet and wetter
Hall and steps immersed are lying.
What a flood that naught can fetter!
Lord and master, hear me crying! -
Ah, he comes excited.
Sir, my need is sore.
Spirits that I've cited
My commands ignore.

    "To the lonely
    Corner, broom!
    Hear your doom.
    As a spirit
When he wills, your master only
Calls you, then 'tis time to hear it."

My pain may be the reason for somebody's laugh. But my laugh must never be the reason for somebody's pain.

~ Charlie Chaplin ~
IMG 3179

It is unusual how people can be so cruel.  These same people don't handle their own pain well, and when this happens to them are the first to tell you that you should have done this or that to assist them.

I find this rather rude on a few levels.  But I wouldn't find it funny or laughable.  Firstly, if that person laughed at you and told you that being upset about a serious family situation was a waste of time and to get over it and were at the most basically uninterested or concerned, then the volume on their life and what troubles them has been automatically turned down to you.

This is no ones fault.  Its an energy thing.  Our body does this for us because it knows who is who in the zoo better than we do at times.   It is like trying to drink water when you are not thirsty.  Its just not good for you and neither are the people described who delight in making you feel small.

I feel that education has been milked of the true essence of what studying the classics was all about.  People were educated in these subjects and in dance and music to gain an understanding of how it all fits together.  It was meant to give ourselves a personal and unique perspective on our part.  This was supposed to thrust us into a virtuous life and to be a good "Earthling" and interact with the planet accordingly.

These subjects were held in high esteem and the rich were the main beneficiaries.  Knowledge on a much simpler level to be passed on through the centuries was once the task of only the family and extended family and kin. There were always those who dreamed of places far away and of cultures unlike their own in an interesting inquisitive way.  That part never changes in some, the desire to meet their other brothers and sisters because to them this is what they are.   Learning about our environment so as to have a light footprint and do no harm.  This essence has completely disappeared.

Education today is about churning out farmed people.  The schools are set up somewhat like battery hen coops.  The entire system is on force feed.  The feed is a mixture of antibiotics and *G.M.O grain (poison and something disguised as food).  Children are fodder!  They are schooled in the manner in which the large corporations desire them to think.  In terms of the Corporate outlook and to always benefit the profit margins.  These children grow into young people who are then very easily and successfully manipulated to do the bidding of the large heartless corporations.  These are the same corporations that are raping the earth for all of what she has with no thought to the future of the water or the people.  There is nothing in this part that has wisdom attached to it which is insight ..which is what you are supposed to gain - from education.

This is why I am suspect of education.

I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in tune once more.

If you walked in my shoes you would know life definitely has meaning.  Personal meaning, personal understanding that I needed to stay connected and to stay healthy.   In nature there is the opportunity to be connected to the real meaning.   The 'Schumann'  resonance which the Earth emits is in perfect timing with our human resonance.

Inner peace begins at the moment you choose not to allow another person or event control your emotions.

079 Uluru
I chose to make the journey regardless of what others thought and I was well pleased with the decision.
This is known as the act of polarizing oneself to a point and not allowing circumstances or situations sway you from that point.  In the Kybalion this refers to what is the "Laws of Correspondence" and the "Laws of Rhythm".
"Inner Peace" -  Peace on the inside of ourselves begins at the moment you choose not to allow another person (mask) which equates to a false or fake person or a particular event that occurs in our life control our emotional outcomes.

My photo
I was in the war zone of life. Photography helps me see the beauty again and from every perspective possible. Writing helps me get whats inside outside. I am aware I am awake and I know I must not get so low that I can't see the beauty in the bricks life throws at me. I used to meditate with the sun each dawn as often as possible for my health. Those days are over now as I have taken the sun and its energy into me and its time to give it back out now to others in healing and Love, when and where and however I can. I seek a freedom from the pain of life. I work hard to stay on top of this daily and taking images of nature is one of the best ways to stay so in touch with the intricacies of what life can manifest if you let it happen.
