The 25th of this month April reminds me that my father "Billy" was a brave brave man. He signed up to join the navy on his fathers advice. He did what he felt was right at that time. It's not always easy because it causes divided loyalties inside oneself on a day like today. It appears a day that glorifies war and I just don't want to ever be apart of that glorification.

A newly constructed Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Afghanistan has been named in honour of Special Air Service (SAS) soldier, Sergeant Matthew Locke, who died in action late 2007. Matthew Locke was from Bellingen NSW.
