“We have not wings we cannot soar; but, we have feet to scale and climb, by slow degrees, by more and more, the cloudy summits of our time.”
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Twenty four years ago today I went into labor for the very first time ever and I was in labor for 36 hours so Jesse's Birthday is not until tomorrow.  It is nice to think back and remember those fun times of how Sheena got lost and was gone with the heater for three hours.  When she returned I didn't need the heater then.  So this is the  eve of another birthday I won't have to opportunity to wish him happy birthday.   This effects me in a strange sort of way.  It hurts my heart so deeply.  I really don't understand why such a misunderstanding could be carried on for so long.
I think it is very sad and I think that all three of my children need to look at this a little more carefully.  They are being very standoffish and they are feeding off each others negativity in the situation.  By now I am sure I have two heads in their imaginings.

Montana is so worried to stand up to them as well.  This is what she tells me.  She says they intimidate her too much regarding me and its all too hard for her to deal with to keep them all happy.  So in order to do that she does what she does.  Fair enough.  I am no one.  I have nothing they need and I rent so therefore according  to them I am a loser.

Resonation inside tells real truths for you!

Where are you From?

Those from Sirius make loyal, trustworthy friends, but expect the same in return. They become hurt and disillusioned when these expectations are not met. Sirians do not share the inner personal self with others easily, and may have difficulty sharing emotions and expressing feelings and needs. To be fully accepted and trusted as a close personal friend of a Sirian means that you have been carefully scrutinized. Sirians may have difficulty in relationships and friendships when they expect to be treated in a certain way, but do not share their expectations with the others involved. It is important to work with sharing expectations, ideals, communicating needs and desires to avoid being hurt and disillusioned. This often occurs as a result of lack of communication or lack of mutual understanding and clarity in relationships.

Those from Sirius tend to be future oriented, and do not enjoy focusing on the past. They may become defensive if forced to focus on the past by others. This is due to the fact that past pain and emotion is held within, denied and repressed rather than being dealt with at the time of occurrence. Due to this there may be large amounts of old emotion in need of being dealt with and released. Sirians do not enjoy confrontations or open expressions of anger but if forced into an argument will defend themselves and their beliefs fiercely. This is particularly true if honor of themselves or loved ones is involved. One of the lessons many Sirians have chosen to work with in this lifetime is the importance of releasing old pain, forgiving self and others, and moving on.

Sirians have a very unique and strong sense of humor, which often is only seen when they are with those they trust and feel at ease with. Sirians may be considered dreamers by some. This is due to their active, vivid inner life. This can cause forgetfulness and a tendency to not notice trivial third dimensional things in the present. They may at times appear to be uninterested, or inattentive, but in actuality they are simply somewhere else. They may not realize that others are unaware of their inner activity. Although they appear very calm, quiet and reserved on the surface, there is much activity within. As children, Sirians may often be thought to have learning disorders or thought to have problems with their attention span.

This is due to the attraction of the inner world, which is often more interesting than that which is taught in Earth schools. They do best in learning when visual methods of teaching are used, and they are allowed hands on types of learning with freedom to move around and explore. These are children who benefit greatly from alternative schools, the are very intelligent but strong enough within to feel that if something does not interest them, they should not be required to learn about it.

Those from Sirius have a deep connection to the Earth and energies of nature. Many Sirians have had numerous lives as American Indians and maintain close ties and memories of these lives. They are very visual, both in their ability to see things which others do not, and in their manner of learning.

That is a bunch of insightful words to get our Saturday off on a correct footing for success and happiness.  There is always a lot to remember but we would do better if we forgot much more than we learned!  Its great to learn new things but some of that past learning is our detriment now.  It is a good idea to weed this stuff out of the daily life of living it too.   Decide this isn't how you feel and say it out aloud to the universe.  Take on a new Mantra for living and say this out aloud also.
I joyfully whisper my mantras to the sunshine at dawn.  This is my special time each day when I spend a couple of hours waiting for the dawning sun and the shine thereafter to brighten up my outlook and to meditate on the day before it happens.   A desire to align my will with the ultimate.  To the all pervading sound of Love that beats in all of us and in the earth and the universe.

This is the kind of vibration that makes a baby smell like heaven.  Makes your partner or lover smell like there is nothing else to consider in life.  It is intoxicating to be that loved and actually feel this.

Chalcedony vibrates to the # 9

Quartz is a common crystalline mineral made of silica, or silicon dioxide ( Si O 2 ) (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Black Onyx

Chalcedony is a stone which is formed out of lava in different types of rock cavities. Chalcedony occurs in different varieties and also forms as a precipitation product from silica rich solution. Sometimes, it’s also formed as a dehydration product of opal formation. Structure wise Chalcedony is a form of quartz and occurs in different forms such as agate , heliotrope (bloodstone), carnelian, chert, chrysoprase, jasper , flint and onyx. It also occurs in colors such as blue chalcedony, pink, red and dendritic. Colors themselves have their own meanings.
The basic structure of Chalcedony is that of silica dioxide which is also known as quartz or sand. The stone gets its name from the ancient Grecian city of Chalcedon. In the olden days it was used by the Native American Indians to provide stability and security to their religious ceremonies.

Chalcedony has healing properties.  It has great healing properties. It’s also known for its cleansing properties. Chalcedony helps to heal sores and also increases lactation in women. It also helps in enhancing the maternal instinct of a woman. It prevents cholesterol built up in blood vessels and increases mineral absorption in the body. If you are feeling low on energy, Chalcedony can increase your energy levels. This stone can balance the mental, physical and spiritual aspects of your being. It’s a great healing stone for the eyes, bones, spleen, blood and the entire circulatory system. It can also heal dementia and senility to quite and extent. If you have neck problems or tonsils troubling you or malfunctioning vocal chords, then Chalcedony is your stone. This stone can help protect against all sorts of infections and inflammation. It can also be used to treat a hoarse voice.
This stone is quite useful for though transmission and telepathy. It can absorb negativity and transfer positivity. It’s also known to encourage and enhance the feeling of brother hood and goodwill. It also increases the qualities of generosity and benevolence in humans and decreases animosity. It helps a person to remove all self doubt and negativity and engage in a real inner appraisal. People who wear this stone become more enthusiastic, confident and open about life. It’s known to dispel bad dreams and negative mindset and emotions.

Metaphysically speaking Chalcedony is the perfect stone for zodiac signs of Cancer and Sagittarius. While it can help Cancerian to overcome their pessimism, it can also help Sagittarians to truly introspect and reflect on their lives. It helps in aligning and cleaning all the chakras so that there is a continuous flow of energy. This stone vibrates to number 9.

Chalcedony is truly a stone that can balance the spiritual, mental and physical aspects of life. It can align and heal the chakras and even calm the mind. A person who wears this stone gets enthusiastic and optimistic about life. http://www.essence-of-mineral-makeup.com/chalcedony.html

Chalcedony is a fitting subject for here at the Rox.  All rocks are good rocks and all rocks have a vibratory element attached to them.  They have so many uses and have done for time immemorial.  Chalcedony interests me as its quartz.  The governments of Australia have a green light on getting as much of this stuff out of the ground and turning it into cash in their pockets.

Chalcedony is a cryptocrystalline form of silica, composed of very fine intergrowths of the minerals quartz and moganite. These are both silica minerals, but they differ in that quartz has a trigonal crystal structure, while moganite is monoclinic. Chalcedony's standard chemical structure (based on the chemical structure of quartz) is SiO₂ (Silicon Dioxide).   Quartz was called "Chrystalos" - Permanent Ice.  They called it this because they thought it was Ice so frozen it was never ever going to melt.

Chalcedony has a waxy luster, and may be semitransparent or translucent. It can assume a wide range of colors, but those most commonly seen are white to gray, grayish-blue or a shade of brown ranging from pale to nearly black.  Because of this waxy nature it was used for making seals as wax did not seem to stick to this.

The name "chalcedony" comes from the Latin calcedonius, the word used to translate the Greek word khalkedon, found only once, in the Book of Revelation.  There is  a connection with the town of Chalcedon in Asia Minor .

Chalcedony occurs in a wide range of varieties. Many semi-precious gemstones are in fact forms of chalcedony. The more notable varieties of chalcedony are as follows:

Agate
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Quartz_-_Agateplate,_redbrown-white.jpg

Agate is a variety of chalcedony with multi-colored curved or angular banding. Fire agate shows iridescent phenomena on a brown background; iris agate shows exceptional iridescence when light (especially pinpointed light) is shone through the stone. Landscape agate is chalcedony with a number of different mineral impurities making the stone resemble landscapes.

Adventurine
  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Aventurine.jpg

Aventurine is a form of chalcedony, characterised by its translucency and the presence of platy mineral inclusions that give a shimmering or glistening effect termed aventurescence. Chrome-bearing fuchsite (a variety of muscovite mica) is the classic inclusion, and gives a silvery green or blue sheen. Oranges and browns are attributed to hematite or goethite.

Carnelian Sard

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Carnelian_sard_%28mineral_specimen%29.jpg

Carnelian (also spelled cornelian) is a clear-to-translucent reddish-brown variety of chalcedony. Its hue may vary from a pale orange, to an intense almost-black coloration. Similar to carnelian is sard, which is brown rather than red.

Chrysophase
 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Chryzopras_Polsko.jpg

Chrysoprase (also spelled chrysophrase) is a green variety of chalcedony, which has been colored by nickel oxide. (The darker varieties of chrysoprase are also referred to as prase. However, the term prase is also used to describe green quartz, and to a certain extent is a color-descriptor, rather than a rigorously defined mineral variety.)

Black Onyx

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Agate-Quartz-49959.jpg

Onyx is a variant of agate with black and white banding. Similarly, agate with brown, orange, red and white banding is known as sardonyx.
I have read a lot about Adventurine as I have a huge piece of this.  I read that this stone in particular brings the vibrational push of good blessings.  It actually causes things to come to you if you meditate on this stone.  I was very happy to find this out and often pick it up and hold it along with certain thoughts.  Some of this is quite evidently true.
My friend Cathy is constantly telling me that I manifest things into existence.  I first speak it out aloud to the morning sun.  I stand on the bare earth in bare feet and speak out loud my desire.

I often speak out loud about my children and on that score I often wonder if they feel this.  My thoughts are so powerful that they manifest into their heads the moment that I think it.  Our thoughts are everywhere and all powerful because of this nature.  This is the reason Meditation is so helpful to our bodies and to those bodies we hold up in our minds.

"Cosmos" is a Greek word for the order of the universe. It is, in a way, the opposite of "Chaos."

.....It implies the deep interconnectedness of all things. It conveys awe for the intricate and subtle way in which the universe is put together. - Carl Sagan -

The moon draped like a solfege note on the music of life.

The cosmic egg of Orphism was taken as the raw material for the alchemical magnum opus in early Greek alchemy. The first stage of the process of producing the Lapis Philosophorum, i.e., nigredo, was identified with chaos. Because of association with the creation in Genesis, where "the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters" (Gen. 1:2), Chaos was further identified with the element Water.

People from the Blue Star Sirius

We are all star people.  We look up in the sky and we wish on stars.   We say our departed loved ones are the stars that we can see at night and we sing nursery rhymes about these twinkling little entities.  They are where we originated from.  It is our heritage. Our star heritage.

Those who have Sirius as their planetary origin are very focused, very determined and set on whatever path they are on at a given time. It is very difficult to change the mind of one from Sirius, but once they have become convinced that a new "path" is more appropriate, they become totally focused on the new, and release the old quickly. Sirians have strong beliefs, ideals and personal integrity.

The word Sirius was used interchangeably for both the constellation Canis Major, and the alpha star. Sirius is a Latinized version of Greek seirios, translated 'scorching', and signifying brightness and heat, from seiraino, 'dry up, parch'.

Sirius was associated with the hottest part of summer, the Dog Days, and also with causing the Nile floods because the heat causes ice and snow to melt on mountains which flows into rivers.

The rising of Sirius marked the commencement of the ancient Egyptian new (sidereal) year, the annus canarius and annus cynicus of the Roma.

The Canary Islands are named after Sirius / Canis Major .. Because of the amount of wild dogs he found there.

Tutu "silences weeping and gives joy to the sad and ill at heart"

and.... Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life - Pablo Picasso

ASARU cultivates the sown, conducts water by small channels for seed-time, for shooting green
and harvest grain.

ASARUALIM - the gods in fear and hope at Council turn to him. He is the light, ASARUALIM NUNNA,  light of the glory of his father.  He is the law of Anu and Enlil and Ea, he is fullness and plenty,  the gods grow fat on his bounty.

TUTU is life renewed that sweetens the sanctuary; should wrath once more rouse up their company he teaches them to repeat the charm that lulls to sleep, he has no peer in that Assembly. In the Enuma Elish it says of Tutu that he "devises the spell by which the gods may be at rest" and that "he is supreme among the assembly of the gods and no one among them is his equal". Another version states Tutu "silences weeping and gives joy to the sad and ill at heart"

Shedding of past karmas (Nirjara)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jainism

Jainism prescribes mainly two methods for shedding karmas (Nirjara), accumulated by the soul.

• Passive Method – By allowing past karma's to ripen in due course of time and experiencing the results, both good and bad with equanimity. If the fruits of the past karma's are received with attachment or with agitation then the soul earns fresh karmic bondage's. It is also not possible for the soul to know before-hand when and which karma will start to produce results. Therefore, a person should practice equanimity under all circumstances.
• Active Method – By practicing internal and external austerities (penances or tapas) so as to accelerate the ripening process as well as reducing the effects produced. This is the recommended approach as it prepares and conditions the soul and reminds one to be vigilant.

The internal austerities are

1. Atonement of sinful acts
2. Practice politeness and humility - in spite of having comparatively more wealth, wisdom, social status, power, etc.
3. Service to others, especially monks, nuns, elders and the weaker souls without any expectations in return
4. Scriptural study, questioning and expanding the spiritual knowledge
5. Abandonment of passions – especially anger, ego, deceit and greed
6. Meditation

The external austerities are meant to discipline the sensual cravings. They are

1. Fasting
2. Eating less than one's normal diet
3. Abstention from tasty and stimulating food
4. Practicing humility and thankfulness – by seeking help and offering assistance without egoistic tendencies
5. Practicing solitude and introspection
6. Mastering demands of the body

"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage" - Lao Tzu -

Lets walk to Uluru because we love it.

Brice gives me the courage to go and to do the things that I love.  It isn't always easy.  Not by a long shot.  It is actually very difficult to go out into the world as the rejection is far to deeply painful.  I have not yet recovered from the most serious of rejections and therefore I somehow pit everything up against this other instance.  It is warped,  I know.  It is however quite understandable and a normal reaction to an abnormal situation no less.
I must continue to push on out there and keep experiencing all that is new and interests me and gives me a depth to my already huge knowledge base of absolute wisdom that is finer than any of the gold in the ground that can be fashioned ... this wisdom is ageless and beautiful.  Peace and Light and Love xx

Girl, you gotta love your man, take him by the hand.

Jim Morrison ( The Doors)

Trees feel when another tree suffers a severe mishap.

We are in a world that can be beautiful and it can be dangerous.   We, as humans, are all trying to stay above the fray, above the destruction of ourselves.  We are all out there doing the best we can to survive this onslaught that life serves up to us as people of the 21st Century.

I know longer feel that I have to have a bigger and better  latest feat to impress my son.  I remember that I was always trying to impress him with what I could do or what I knew about something.

This is a classic case of  just wanting to be accepted by someone.  It is clear now that even before there was any trouble, I would often ask him - "Do you Love Me"?

When he would show his disapproval of my hair or my cloths or my friends or my desires, it hurt a great deal.  I felt he just disapproved of me and my word in general.  Jesse was a very fussy boy.  He liked things clean and neat and tidy and I tried to do that and super-size it.  I was alright with this because I liked things this way also.  I was inadvertantly as his mumma, trying to take him by the hand and educate him and prepare him for his life.

Both Jesse and myself have Mercury as our ruling planet.  The planet of communication.  Gemini and Virgo.  But do they get along?  It can be hardcore at times when anything is in the hands of a Virgo.   They can expect a great deal from those around them.  These perfect Virgoan's amongst us set the bar very high for others,  usually not so high for themselves though.

I don't think that Jesse ever really accepted me as a viable human being.  He was so used to seeing his father walk all over me in decisions that were made.  He was used to seeing his father hopelessly drunk and angry.  He was used to seeing the abuse of a female as the norm.   I know this will effect the perception he has of me and his perception of all mothers.

Look into this picture, surround your HEART with white light energy and love.

What is the Chakra System:
The chakra system is the main energy system of the body, and our chakras are like the organs of our spiritual body, much like our physical body has organs that are vital to our health and physical well-being. It is important to keep our chakras healthy, balanced and flowing, and we do this by using tools such as quartz crystal singing bowls, which have special properties of healing and regeneration.
The heart chakra is an important chakra in its own right and it is essential that we keep it flowing freely, especially when it comes to improving the areas of love and relationships in our lives. Read on to learn more about what the heart chakra is for and how to use quartz crystal singing bowls to balance this important energy center.

What Is the Heart Chakra?
The heart chakra is the fourth chakra in the chakra system, and is located just about where it sounds – in the center of our chest, near our heart. It governs the heart, circulatory system, blood, lungs, breasts, diaphragm and rib cage.
This chakra is the center for love, and from it we learn the lessons of forgiveness, compassion, trust, generosity, and of course, unconditional love. If this important center is imbalanced, you may be overcome with feelings of self-pity, fear of getting hurt, and may have trouble releasing old emotional wounds and heartbreaks.
A person with a healthy, open, and flowing heart chakra will be especially compassionate, nurturing, optimistic, and will have an easy time being loved by and loving other people.

Balancing Your Heart Chakra With Crystal Singing Bowl Meditation:
The note associated with the heart chakra is F, and its color is green or pink. Balancing this chakra can be accomplished easily with a simple meditation and your crystal singing bowl. Since crystal singing bowls are tuned to a specific note, make sure you have one tuned to the note of F.

Set aside a special time and place for your meditation where you will be undisturbed for about 15 minutes. Take some deep relaxing breaths until you feel calm and centered. When you are ready, strike your singing bowl on its rim three times, and then begin playing it by running the striker around the rim. As you play, inhale deeply and direct your attention and your awareness to your heart area. Feel yourself filling up with love and compassion for yourself. To help this process along, you may repeat some affirmations to yourself.

Examples of heart chakra affirmations are:
■ I deeply and truly love and approve of myself.
■ I trust in love.
■ I open my heart to love.
■ I follow the path of the heart.
■ I forgive those who need forgiving for not being what I wanted them to be.

When you feel filled up with well-being, visualize this feeling radiating outwards towards those you are close to, like friends, lovers, and family members.
Imagine that they are also being surrounded and filled up with love and compassion.
After visualizing the people close to you, extend this love and compassion out to others that you do know, then people you don’t know and outwards until you feel yourself send out love to all inhabitants of the world.
When you are finished with this meditation, you may stop playing your crystal singing bowl and then strike it three times to signal the end of your heart chakra meditation.

To sit and paint with a brush or to create with beads or flowers or seeds or rubbish like these can lids above I painted, whichever medium you choose, this will be a meditation time.  If only others understood the great benefits from sitting and creating and letting the mind have a rest and concentrate only on a small stitch or a tiny dollop of paint in a single dot.  This is meditation in action and if you allow your mind to be filled with the work you are doing and the story it tells it is healing to your spirit.
This is beautiful spirit work when it happens.  For me it is like I go to another place and I welcome the moments when I feel overcome to paint symbols.

True Simplicity Rules Karmic Paths

When a bird is alive it eats ants, yet when it dies, the ants eat it.

Circumstances can change at any time and the tables usually turn over a period of time.

Fire nourishes and Fire kills

Do not oppress, despise or hurt anyone during your lifetime.

You may be powerful today but remember, time is more powerful that you!

Just like one tree makes a million match sticks, yet when the time comes then only a single match is needed to burn a million trees.

What is Karma in a nutshell?
Answer: कर्म Karma is not punishment or retribution but simply an extended expression or consequence of natural acts. Karma means "deed" or "act" and more broadly names the universal principle of cause and effect, action and reaction, that governs all life. The effects experienced are also able to be mitigated by actions and are not necessarily fated. That is to say, a particular action now is not binding to some particular, pre-determined future experience or reaction; it is not a simple, one-to-one correspondence of reward or punishment.

What else do I think Karma is?
I think it is magnetic.  I think all things in the universe are magnetic and thoughts and feelings and words are magnetic.  They are alive with a positive or negative charge and they attract or repel.  To negate something is to take it down to posit something is to place higher.  So therefore the Heart of a person is the most alive part of themselves and it generates the  power in the body and it is magnetic in nature. It has two valves and an engine is similar with its inlet and outlet valves ie. so is an air conditioner but it far less spirit filled.

Aristotle distinguished between four causes, or four explanations, that each answer the question "why?" in different ways. These various means of explanation can be divided into four general types as follows:

• The material cause is the physical matter, the mass of "raw material" of which something is "made" (of which it consists).
• The formal cause tells us what, by analogy to the plans of an artisan, a thing is intended and planned to be.
• The efficient cause is that external entity from which the change or the ending of the change first starts.
• The final cause is that for the sake of which a thing exists, or is done - including both purposeful and instrumental actions. The final cause, or telos, is the purpose, or end, that something is supposed to serve.

Each step of the Journey is made by following the Heart, instead of following the crowd, and by choosing knowledge over veils of ignorance.

Fortunately, some are born with spiritual immune systems that sooner or later give rejection to the illusory worldview grafted upon them from birth though social conditioning They begin sensing that something is amiss and start looking for answers. Inner knowledge and anomalous outer experiences show them a side of reality others are oblivious to and so begins their journey of awakening
Henri Bergson On Intuition Vs Intellect 1907

Fortunately, I am more than happy to report that my  b.s. meter is working fine.    I am one of the lucky ones,  I  have one of these aptly named spiritual  immune systems
It isn't easy being different to the crowd, and don't I know it.   Being like this as I am and playing their stupid games.  I have done this for the eternity of my life to date.  I remember being the odd one out in institutional care ( State Ward) as well.  Everyone else hated school and it was considered very uncool to like school when you lived where I lived, in a children's home.   We were the naughty kids!  I was feeling in the wrong place again and I wondered then what was it I would learn from this?

It was a difficult journey learning and not learning at the same time to keep everyone happy.  I had to live where I lived for some years and I was not about to make this any harder than it already was.  I pretended I was uneducated at times because it was easier for me and others because we were Home Children  It wasn't easy living under those  harsh unforgiving government institution circumstances.

Underneath all of that though, I soon learned that it was important to draw my own serious correlations about the truths as I like to call these.  The real truth of what is going on around us and up in the universe for instance.

How many stop to even give it a thought?  I had to continually look at all sides living in the binary I was in so it became like second nature to me very early in my teenage life if not even earlier as I would have to check the things out that I was taught because not all I learned that some of what I was taught was not being taught in schools.   My education was varied because of experience indeed.

"Many people scorn and laugh at me for my recipes to ward off flu  and cold with onions and I know that it works but you cannot always get other people to understand this.  The Onion is a perfect cure for this sort of this as the body literally craves what the onion has to offer to re-balance it once again.  It isn't rocket science and it is the sort of wisdom that is dying out amongst our younger people and it is important that they learn at least something of this to prick their interest later on down the track of life for them".

In the written record, the study of herbs dates back over 5,000 years to the Sumerians, who created clay tablets with lists of hundreds of medicinal plants (such as myrrh and opium).
In 1500 B.C., the Ancient Egyptians wrote the Ebers Papyrus, which contains information on over 850 plant medicines, including garlic, juniper, cannabis, castor bean, aloe, and mandrake.

The world is moved along, not only by the mighty shoves of its heroes, but also by the aggregate of tiny pushes of each honest worker.

It is now a little over a year ago and you are not forgotten, not by myself or by some others close to me.  Doing your job, just doing your job.  It can be a very dirty game going to work along side of politicians who take more notice of mining companies than they do their constituents.

Worker's are copping it from everywhere now, and if they kick up a stink about anything they are severly dealt with,  and dealt with by Police as was evident this week in Melbourne where the company Grogan were able to use Police to accompany approximately 30 workers on site past a blockade of workers who were striking and who had been attacked by police earlier this week and capsicum spray used and tazors against workers for striking.  I would say the country is in crisis with this happening to workers and people being forced from their land by bully governments.  Another example of government corruption in high places is in Western Australia right now.

W.A.'s Indigenous Workers get fully shafted:

The West Australian Government is under fire over its compensation offer to pay lost wages to thousands of the state's Indigenous workers.

In March, the state government announced a six-month time period for former workers to apply for wages withheld by the government in what has become known as the stolen wages case.
Between 1905 and 1972, the government withheld up to three-quarters of the wages earned by workers on state-run Native Welfare Settlements.

'Absolute insult'

Coat of arms of Western Australia (Photo credit: Wikipedia)Dr Ros Kidd, an historian whose investigations into the management of Queensland’s Indigenous workers sparked a Federal Senate inquiry in 2006, has also lambasted the offer.
"I think it’s a disgusting amount and I think it’s an absolute insult to families, many of whom have worked across generations, to be offered $2,000 as full payment," she said.
"If we look at the mineral wealth of WA, I think their 2011-2012 income from mining royalties alone was $4.68 billion, according to the website.

These people worked from daylight in the morning till dark at night, just for clothing, food and a bit of tobacco? How do you put a figure on the suffering they went through?

Steve Carter

"That $2,000 represents less than three days’ salary of the minister, so you’re looking at a pathetic crumb in the back of the cupboard, you’re not looking at any sort of dignified response to right such a horrendous human rights abuse."
But Mr Collier has defended the compensation offer.
"Look I can understand why some people will be critical of the amount that was provided," he said.

You’re looking at a pathetic crumb in the back of the cupboard, you’re not looking at any sort of dignified response to right such a horrendous human rights abuse.

What I think personally...

This is all very similar to the FORDE Foundation handout in Queensland for the forgotten Generation - those who were subject to the inhumane care of children in institutions in QLD, of which I got nothing and of which I knew nothing about at all.
Of which I am still very bitter about considering my family knew all about it and told me nothing and for that they are not my family at all!   They are empty universes and their planets have been smashed by huge celestial events inside of their very bodies, and so therefore I wash my hands of them too!

It's time to get out of the Boat and walk on water time. Jupiter in Gemini - June 2012 to June 2013

It's all in the stars and the planets...

I bought a house, had a baby. got my license and started school.  What will happen this time?  What new adventure or new big thing is going to happen?

On June 11, 2012 the planet Jupiter enters the sign Gemini. He will stay there until he enters Cancer on June 25, 2013.

 Jupiter’s last journey  through Gemini was June 2000 – July 2001. Before that, July 1988 – July 1989, August 1976 – August 1977, April 1965 – May 1966.

If you can find a common thread of similar events, you may be able to anticipate the kinds of energies you will be dealing with this time around. Of course, there are many other things that are different now than in these other times.

Jupiter  Gemini.

April 1965- May 1966 - I was turning 6 and in my first  year of school

Aug 1976- Aug 1977   - I had just turned 17 and I had gotten my license

July 1988 - July 1989  - I was about to have my first baby and I was 29

June 2000 - July 2001 -  I bought my first house.

Jupiter indicates where in your life growth is taking place. Jupiter is larger than life and sees things big.  Jupiter is  optimistic and  loves risks and adventures . Jupiter can throw caution to the wind and gamble it all weighing risk up against reward and he can be loose with the money and push things until its all gone and there is nothing left.  Jupiter shows an urge to grow, adventure and expand your horizons.

When Jupiter enters Gemini, he is opposite Sagittarius - this is his favorite sign. Jupiter sees the big picture, and Gemini takes us into the details, and the mundane.

Jupiter is an explorer, and in Gemini, he is in the sign of thinking, and learning.

Gemini is the “jack of all trades” sign. It’s a good time to try out some new stuff.  The bummer to this is that you may take on too much and if you have too much going on, you may feel overwhelmed and overloaded upstairs in your thinking. So don't promise things you may not be able to come up with.
If we think of Jupiter as growth, then its safe to say that those jobs we associate with Jupiter/Gemini are due for some major growth.

Writing, teaching, accounting, bookkeeping, news reporting, travel agents, communications and computers, drivers of taxis and trucks, taking journey's

People ruled by Gemini influences are students,  writers,  reporters, photographers, sales, editors and proofreaders, language professionals , truck or courier drivers. The places you are likely to find them hanging out are bookshops, Educational institutions like University, The library,  Banking, Radio Stations, Telephonists, Goods and Transport hubs.
Gemini has to do with getting the message out there.  Gemini also deals with chatter and gossip

“Versatility in obliging others, an aptitude for making social contacts, good manners, a love of change, the desire to have many connections. – A carefree attitude towards life, superficiality.”
—Reinhold Ebertin, Combination of Stellar Influences

“If you postpone communicating insights to others, you may experience an endless accumulation of trivial information…. As you take the leap of faith and seek information from others and yourself, trusting that there is an answer and listening for that answer, you can experience truly meaningful communication with others. You can build inner faith by sincerely listening for the right answers to your questions.”
—Jan Spiller, Spiritual Astrology

Jupiter is “lots of,” and Mercury is information. Jupiter is known as the “higher octave” of Mercury. If Mercury governs your mind and thoughts, Jupiter represents your “higher mind,” your world view and beliefs, the larger perspective through which you view everything and everyone in your life. Jupiter likes to be “right” and can be rather dogmatic and annoying in that pursuit, sometimes even bending the facts to fit the world view, rather than letting the facts shape it. I find that I have taken everything I have ever learned regarding Astro-theology to another level, seriously.  This is actually happening during this time for me already.

Jupiter’s downside is excess. So we may see more stress on our nervous systems and lungs (Gemini) due to overindulgence in caffeine, tobacco, artificial fragrances and perfumes, and overthinking.
Jupiter invites us to cultivate faith in ourselves. The over thinking part is over the top and I am now spending perhaps only five hours asleep and the awake time is totally taken up with thinking and learning.

In Gemini, we can improve our speaking, listening, conversing, and writing abilities, and learn new technical skills. We can expand our social horizons, and meet new people with interesting ideas. It’s a good time to be a student of something that truly calls to you, whether you’re going for a degree or just reading some interesting books. I have read the seven Churchward books called "The Books of Mu", that was a marathon.

Gemini rules the hands— so you are more likely to become joyfully engaged if you’re doing a hands-on project. I recently bought some oil paints because I had to paint symbols and I really had to paint them, by this I mean I was guided to paint these things.  I would say to anyone, "I am not a painter/ artist".  Now I could safely assume that character also,  these works of art are truly beautiful.  I think this also because it doesn't even seem like they are mine or that I even painted these.  Strange hey!
Herbs of Jupiter are Dandelion, Hyssop, Meadowsweet, Melissa (lemon balm), Red clover, Sage, Burdock. These herbs nourish and enrich the blood and liver. (Apply wisdom and common sense when using herbal medicines. If you don’t know what you’re doing, consult an experienced herbalist before using them.)

English: "Ganymede True Color Orbit 1" A true color image of Ganymede acquired by the Galileo spacecraft (taken on June 26, 1996). (NASA/JPL image) (Photo credit: WikipediaThe mythological Jupiter’s Greek name is Zeus. His father is Cronus (Saturn), and his mother is Rhea. His grandmother is Gaia. Even though he is married to Hera (Juno), he has many sons and daughters by different mortals and goddesses, including Ares (Mars) and Venus. He also has a famous young male lover named Ganymede.

She said she saw several testimonies from people having Jupiter transits who had expected the good luck planet of abundance to treat them more kindly.  Instead of it raining goodies from above, these folk experienced lovelessness and got the sack from their employment.

Things are not always as they seem are they?  Instead on closer inspection the universe knew all along what was the outcome and these instances were true to form because the girl was all wrong and so was the jobs and these folk needed to keep looking and keep growing a little more.   Now, they are in employ they like and are happy at.

Jupiter is a traveler and he calls you out of your comfort zone to explore things.  This is rather annoying for people who don't like change.  Since when does good luck equal same-old same-old? If you’re really lucky, he won’t let you sit for long in a mediocre situation. Jupiter offers expansion.  There will be an opportunity to broaden your outlook in some way shape or form.
