Did you know

 Dr. Carla Goddard

Billy
Did you know that within you lies a great vision
A vision of what your soul desires to create
A vision that has fire,
has passion
has life.

Everyone has a vision of their destiny.
You say I can't see it
I can't hear it
I can't feel it.

Become silent
Go within
Believe in the possibilities
that you see
that you hear
that you feel.

The visions of your destiny
is full of symphonies
a masterpiece canvas waiting to be painted
a tapestry to be woven
an ecstasy of bliss to be experienced.

"Our minds will not allow us to forget, but our hearts will enable us to forgive."

Pickett Hill ... Valla  NSW
This is a clear case where the heart is definitely in charge of what the body does and how the body responds to what happens to it along the way.  It is kind of interesting how this occurs.  Forgiveness does truly set the person free who has it.  That is a truth.  Unforgiveness and anger ties one up in knots and it hurts more.  It is not for the poor person to be angry or to hate these days at all.

In order to even the odds one has to remain calm amidst the storms and forgive.  Sit in nature and talk to the trees about it.  They understand fully look how their numbers have been depleted through lack of thought.

At times man is not bright.  It is clear to me that the indigenous of each area knew how to work with the earth.  Some how, some where along the way this changed and it was to all of our detriment this occurred.  The image here of Pickett Hill is a special and sacred place and it is a mans space.  But wouldn't you know it,  its been split into land blocks and that cannot be good for the earth around here because that is the sacred place of the Kangaroo in the dreaming!
There is no respect for country in this area of New South Wales.

"We are shaped by what we do, not by who we are."

IMG 5061 The Mirror Finish
I am a government kid still and that keeps dogging me all of the time.  I get discriminated against  because of this.  I have felt this many times.  When in a group and talking about childhood experiences I want to tell others it was freaking hell.  Now I want help!  I could not ask for help then,  I let it all happen to me.

These days I shape it a little better.  Proof of this is the kinds of things I do.  The things I love.  The study that I do each day to stay ahead of myself.  Believe me is that hard too.  My mind has so much it wants to know.  Is it my mind or is my heart leading me on a the journey.  Each time I learn a new skill I feel as though  I just climbed a mountain.  That is not a bad feeling for anyone to experience.

Its not hard to tell that these cakes were made with a great deal of love.  I made these while Anaan and Montana were staying last week.  I was so excited by the prospect of their arrival that I celebrated by making edible works of art.  They were so delicious too,  each cake infused with a syrup of coffee, alcohol and sugar.  The chocolate is Ganache.  Yummy yummy ganache.

Well done to me because I could even taste how much love went into the making of each cake and decorating each one as a single and special entity, unique in its own right.  Then we ate these with ice-cream and no strawberries this time.  The strawberries have a profuse amount of flowers so there will be strawberries soon.

"Each hurdle we go through in life makes the next one easier."

~ A.D. Williams ~

SAM 4367 Tidal

When I make something as in created a work of art or a masterpiece as I call it, there is always room for improvement at every turn.  By the time I have completed three of the same thing I then have it all down pat.

I have changed the process accordingly.   Each time I carry out the task,  I always find a more efficient method to carry out what I need to do.  This never ceases to give me a buzz.  I am hard on myself though.  I always want to do the best I can possibly do.

To do this, I usually I go back to the first one and re-do it or pull the stitches undone and have another go at what ever it is.    I am more proficient with what I am doing then and it is easy.

I get busy doing so many different things so starting again can be a little hectic.  I am kept very busy while others are perfectly bored with so much time on their hands.  I worked out that I am actually really happy while creating and playing as I call it.

I call it play because as a child I did not play very much and I never played with anyone else.  Edith forbid me to have anything to do with anyone else.  This made it easier for her to abuse me.  It made it easy for her to keep it a secret all of  what she did to me.  No one ever knew because I was not allowed to talk to others.

School was an issue to Edith's tyranical reach though,  it posed a threat to her control.  When I was 12 she sent me to a Children's Home to live and I became a Ward of the State of Queensland.  I was no longer her responsibility.  I was unwanted.  I was abandoned for the second time in my 12 short years.  Oh Gosh I remember how much that hurt too.  I had become a government kid.

For as long as I can remember it was a trick of mine to stay busy to make the time pass faster.  I guess it was a skill that has saved my life.  In the home I busied the other girls when certain nurses were on duty to make chocolate fudge in the old kitchen down stairs in the old part of the children's home.  Oh what fun that was too.

I love doing this kind of thing still today.   I have a great ability  to keep busy.  I find that I can make any time pass happily and quickly  as long as I am busy with something!   "Something", could be anything because my mind has the capacity for many interesting things to take place at once.   Keeping my mind occupied is the trick to it all.IMG 5234 A white tree stuck

The quicksilver mind of the person born with the sun in Gemini and Mercury in my house of communication must communicate.   I have found a myriad of ways in which to do this.   I was forced to become resourceful to save the very essence of who I am or I  fear I may have simply died of brokenness.  I photograph and I paint, I garden and I sew, I crochet and I write, I cook and I make things from junk, I collect seeds as a hobby and I love to walk,  I dance and love music, I play guitar like a novice but I love it.  I am a lover of poetry, music and drama.  I am a lover of wood.  I  dislike Injustice in the world of any capacity.

IMG 5234 A white tree stuckBeing brought up by Edith at this time in my life was an injustice to the world as I had a great capacity to learn and to create change and I have been held back held down and shut up and shut down and each time I rise like the phoenix from the ashes to become great once more.  Why get down about where things are at now in my life.  Nature knows whats going on and so I must relax and let God be God and let go and just drift on the whimsical air of creativity and to where ever this takes me.

Peace, Love and Light always to all of my rainbow tribe brothers and sisters I am walking this journey with.

"We are never alone when we are with Mother Nature."

~ A.D. Williams ~
 IMG 5209
 The word nature comes from the Latin word, natura, meaning birth or character.

Greek myth

Aeon (Chronos), Gaia and four children
In Greek mythology, Persephone, the daughter of Demeter, goddess of the harvest, was abducted by Hades, god of the dead, and taken to the underworld as his queen.

Demeter was so distraught that no crops would grow and the "entire human race would have perished of cruel, biting hunger if Zeus had not been concerned" .

Zeus forced Hades to return Persephone to her mother, but while in the underworld, Persephone had eaten pomegranate seeds, the food of the dead and thus, she must spend part of each year with Hades in the underworld.

Demeter's grief for her daughter in the realm of the dead, is reflected in the barren winter months and her joy when Persephone returns is reflected in the bountiful summer months. (Larousse 152)

"We don't like to be alone, but there are times we need to be alone."

 A.D. Williams . .

IMG 5233 Brice at the middle of the Stairs down
Being alone can do many things inside a persons head or in their psyche.

Being Alone with out being Lonely
by Ben Martin Psy.D

There is a great difference between being lonely and being alone. Many people are alone and lead happy lives. It may behoove us to study some of their traits, because many of us are likely to be alone at some point in our lives.

 Contrary to many beliefs, the elderly are not the most lonely among us. It is young people who are most lonely, and herein may lie some of the differences between being lonely and being alone.
Many elderly people have developed traits or habits that help them be comfortable with themselves alone. They have found ways to keep busy mentally. Many rely on good memories of a deceased spouse for comfort while relishing the peace and quiet of a household void of too much activity. They have reached the point where their status quo is calmness.
The young, however, are subject to a wide range of moods. They may be up one morning and down that evening or up and down several times in a given day. They are often bored and restless to the point of being unhappy for no clear reason. When they are not sought after and included in all activities of their peers, their self-esteem takes a hit.
When they are lonely, they blame themselves and resort to activities that exclude social contact or productivity, such as watching too much television.
Being alone can have its advantages. The creative person craves time alone. Any professional who takes a sabbatical and spends some time alone returns refreshed mentally and spiritually.
To reap the rewards of solitude, a person who feels lonely can tune out thoughts of self and seek out activities. They can:
  • write letters
  • read
  • paint
  • sew
  • care for a pet
  • enroll in a correspondence course
A person who is feeling lonely should avoid situations such as:
  • drinking alcohol alone
  • using other escapes such as non-prescribed medications
  • watching so much television that it becomes a substitute for socializing
 It may sometimes be good to be alone, but it is rarely good to be lonely.
 My take on this is about the same really,  I have been extremely lonely in a crowded room.  I have felt the most alone in this situation.  I find it really difficult to converse with a crowded room unless I am a speaker for example.   Going to  an event that is crowded peaks me out a lot.  I am usually ok after I have been there awhile but find it almost impossible to go alone.   It really depends on the level of tenacity I have on any given day.

Be silent, or say something better than silence.

~ Pythagoras ~
IMG 5187
Desiderata
    by Max Ehrmann

    Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
    and remember what peace there may be in silence.
    As far as possible without surrender
    be on good terms with all persons.
    Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
    and listen to others,
    even the dull and the ignorant;
    they too have their story.
    Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
    they are vexations to the spirit.
    If you compare yourself with others,
    you may become vain and bitter;
    for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
    Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
    Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
    it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
    Exercise caution in your business affairs;
    for the world is full of trickery.
    But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
    many persons strive for high ideals;
    and everywhere life is full of heroism.
    Be yourself.
    Especially, do not feign affection.
    Neither be cynical about love;
    for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
    it is as perennial as the grass.
    Take kindly the counsel of the years,
    gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
    Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
    But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
    Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
    Beyond a wholesome discipline,
    be gentle with yourself.
    You are a child of the universe,
    no less than the trees and the stars;
    you have a right to be here.
    And whether or not it is clear to you,
    no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
    Therefore be at peace with God,
    whatever you conceive Him to be,
    and whatever your labors and aspirations,
    in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
    With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
    it is still a beautiful world.
    Be cheerful.
    Strive to be happy.

    Max Ehrmann, Desiderata, Copyright 1952.

Yes remember what peace there maybe in silence.... a line from the very famous Desiderata comes to mind there.  Sounds like Pythagoras had it all going on with the very same idea.  When you are silent and you stand in nature you can actually hear nature speak back.  Try it sometime.

We all have our own life to pursue, our own kind of dream to be weaving, and we all have the power to make wishes come true, as long as we keep believing.

IMG 0711
Montana - Mary - Brice 2011 Christmas Time
Never ever stop believing that wishes don't come true.  Wishes are nothing shy of what you want to manifest into your life above anything else.  Otherwise you would not wish for it.  This is the beginning of conjuring things into your life that the universe and you agree you need to go to the next level of what ever it is  you are working out on that part of the journey!

Simple so keep believing in yourself and in the universe.  What you need is really just there in the next dimension so see it in this one and it cannot help but come into being!.   I actually call this building in the spirit realm.  Its seeing in the fourth dimension or thought realm first and then the law of the universe states that it must come to pass.

As Above So Below is a Hermetic Phrase.

"Reflection - Philipinnes" by suellewellyn | Redbubble:

Origin of ‘As above, so below’
A phrase like ‘As above, so below’ is used by writers and astrologers alike to explain why and how the world works. It seems a great concept that the visible stars in the sky are linked to life on earth. The microcosm and the macrocosm are connected. On the internet using Google I find 108 million hits for ‘As above, so below’. Together with astrology I get 858.000 hits. This interests me and I am curious. Who used these words and where do they come from?

Who is Hermes Trismegistus?

Hermes Trismegistus strismegistus31.jpgis good for almost 35.000 hits and seems a perfect name to investigate. But that is easier said than done. There are few sources that really tell about him or his origins. It is not sure who he really was and where he lived, much speculation also.The name of Hermes Trismegistus (Greek for ‘Hermes the thrice-greatest’) is a blending of the Greek god Hermes and the Egyptian Thoth.

In Hellenistic Egypt, the name of the god Hermes was given as a substitute for the Greek name of Thoth. He was the Egyptian god of the moon and of wisdom and learning, usually represented as having the head and neck of an ibis. In the Greek mythology Hermes was the messenger of the Gods. Both these gods were associated with writing and magic and after time they became more and more the same and took each others symbolism as well.
strismegistus4.jpg

In the Greek papyri an Egyptian Hermes Trismegistus is found. He is ‘a cosmic deity with whom the magician (in Egyptian style – cf. the ritual assumption of god-forms) could identify. In the Corpus Hermeticum Trismegistus is usually envisaged as a sage who lived in a remote period, conversing with the deities, though they also speak of him as a divine being … Apparently, Hermes Trismegistus was conceived as hovering between the divine and human world, which, being a mediator, was an advantage’.

Hermetica

Many hits on the internet connect Hermes Trismegistus with occult sciences, such as alchemy and astrology. This association partly originates in the technical hermetic literature circulating in the Roman empire from as early as the second century. The expression “hermetically sealed” derives from the name Hermes. Appollonius of Tyana, the Pythagorian philosopher of the first century C.E. is less well known. Greek and Latin sources do not connect these two figures doctrinally, but in the Arabic Hermetic literature  Apollonius (in Arabic: Balinus) is often associated with Hermes. There he is depicted as the discoverer and representative of Hermes’ teachings on the secrets of creation that had been lost to the generations before him. Apollonius has even been identified as Hermes himself.

Hermetica or hermetic books are ‘ancient metaphysical works dealing essentially with the idea of the complete community of all beings and objects. Authorship of the books was attributed to the Egyptian god of wisdom, Thoth, whose name was sometimes translated into Greek as Hermes Trismegistus and was therefore equated with the Greek god Hermes. The books treat of a variety of subjects, including magic, astrology, and alchemy, and were particularly influential in the 3rd century with the Neoplatonists and in France and England in the 17th century."

The Hermetic writings can be divided into two main sections: writings on sciences, especially those of occult significance, and writings on philosophy, presenting the Hermetic doctrine and view of the world. In the scientific section a broad range of topics is covered: astrology, astronomy, alchemy, magic, geography, topography, education, worship, laws, priestly conduct, anatomy, disease, organs of the body, medicine, ophthalmology, and even gynaecology. The philosophical section is most interesting when studying Hermeticism. [6] In 1911 a text called Kybalion appeared. It is written by ‘three initiates’ and is called the essence of the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus. It explains the 6 principles in the universe. [7]
Beside the wide range of Hermetic writings there are also hits on the Tabula Smargadina or Emerald Tablet. Sources as early as 500 AD report on this tablet and what it says. Legend has it that the tabula was found in a cave by Apollonius in Egypt (near Alexandria ?) in the first century AD, inscribed on a plate of emerald, held by the corpse of Hermes Trismegistus.
In other legends (told by Albertus Magnus), Alexander the Great found it (in the third century BC).[2]
This green tablet, sometimes called the tablet of Hermes, could even be one of the earliest works in alchemy in the world. I don’t think it is still around, but apparently on the tablet there were thirteen lines. The second line holds the ‘As above so below’-axioma that everyone refers to. [8,9]
The words “As above so below”
Quoted here is the version by Isaac Newton from circa 1680.
1. Tis true without lying, certain & most true.
2. That which is below is like that which is above & that which is above is like that which is below to do the miracles of one only thing.
3. And as all things have been & arose from one by the meditation of one: so all things have their birth from this one thing by adaptation.
4. The Sun is its father, the moon its mother,
5. The wind hath carried it in its belly, the earth its nurse.
6. The father of all perfection in the whole world is here.
7. Its force or power is entire if it be converted into earth.
7a. Separate thou the earth from the fire, the subtle from the gross sweetly with great industry.
8. It ascends from the earth to the heaven & again it descends to the earth and receives the force of things superior & inferior.
9. By this means you shall have the glory of the whole world & thereby all obscurity shall fly from you.
10. Its force is above all force, for it vanquishes every subtle thing & penetrates every solid thing.
11a. So was the world created.
12. From this are & do come admirable adaptations where of the means (or process) is here in this.
13. Hence I am called Hermes Trismegist, having the three parts of the philosophy of the whole world.
14. That which I have said of the operation of the Sun is accomplished & ended.

Why is it that they are so immovable?  They behave like a heavy rock you cannot budge from its staid position with out the aid of others or a smarter way.

Edith was a Virgo,  Mark is a Virgo,  my son Jesse is a Virgo!  They can be very hardcore to an air sign person who values freedom so much.    Fact is they just do not and can not fathom this in their own spirit.  No one is wrong.  There are just many shades of color in this spectrum we call life.  They are the organizers who don't like to waste time.
