Common sense is also fostered from the freedom to be able to question things and make decisions on the observations at hand.  The situation with legislation and parenting in Australia with the Social Security Act  of 1991 discriminates against a woman's birth right to parent their children effectively and each case needs to be assessed on its own merits.  There are no two mothers alike just as there are no two children alike and the Australian government legislation around this is unfair and unjust. 

This act is the reason the kids are getting out of hand.  The kids have already experienced a number of years having no family support and having  pre and post school hours care by a person or persons not a family member. 

I am not sure who is in charge of making these decisions but it is evident that the entirety of this was not thought through as to what the impacts are likely to be. For example,  children and young persons out control with violence and abusive acts bordering on epidemic proportions. 

I say to our government this is a form of genocide.  More and more family values, family history and family support is legislated out of the equation. There is no chance of amassing any common sense at all and this is clearly evident as youth become more and more unable to make certain decisions that are clearly not age appropriate.

THE ACT STATES:

607  Newstart Employment Pathway Plans—principal carers

             (1)  A Newstart Employment Pathway Plan that:

                     (a)  is in force in relation to a person who is the principal carer of at least one child; and

                     (b)  requires the person to undertake, as an activity, looking for part‑time paid work that the Secretary regards as suitable;

must require the person to undertake looking for such part‑time paid work of at least the appropriate number of hours per week.

Note:          For principal carer see subsections 5(15) to (24).

             (2)  The appropriate number of hours per week is:

                     (a)  15; or

                     (b)  such other number as the Secretary determines to be appropriate having regard to the person’s circumstances.

This is clearly a problem for our police force who are at a complete loss to understand why this is happening.  I think they have rocks for brains if they are that unable to see blatant evidence presented to them regarding this.
