I've learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them.

~ Author Unknown ~

Puppies have to trust they will be loved.
All of this is easier said than done I might add.  In an ideal world I could just go on and forget about that have obvious selfish ways.   It isn't an ideal world though, and most people are selfish I find.  This means we have spiraled down and we are vibrating out of a low materialistic existence and its important to remember to raise the vibration and generate love.

Love is like magma piercing through solid rock, eventually it gets through.  I am holding onto this thought because holding onto negative thoughts make you very sick.  I don't like being sick so I am going to see as much sunshine as possible.

You can get by on charm for about 15 minutes. After that, you'd better know something.

Charm is apart of the person's personality.  An outgoing person is more likely to have charm and charisma than an introverted person.  But the outgoing person can get themselves into trouble by over estimating their abilities at times.  I guess this comes from allowing the head to get ahead of the body.

A ship maybe safe in the harbour, but that's not what it was built for!

IMG 0275 Harbour Bridge

 ~ Advertisement tag line ~  a tag line that captured my attention the first time I heard it.  What a true statement too.

Like humanity, we are good with shoes on but that's not what feet are for.   We are good with hair but you can't tie the dog up with it.  We value coal and gas more than food or clean water but we cannot eat or drink it.   We are good with knives, they make eating easier but occasionally we cut ourselves.

Our purpose in life is to free the light inside of ourselves and release the divine light of our gifts we bring into this life when we are born here.  Working hard and overcoming ignorance is our mission so the light can burn brighter and find its way back to the source of all light.

Contemplation of the pure and of the spiritual is good for us and shows a life no longer dominated by materialism.  Seeking instead to do things well and with integrity to leave a lasting legacy of love.  In an ideal world for me, this would have been my children.

“Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge.”

~ Eckhart Tolle ~

IMG 9601.2
A drip emerging to drop.
Inside of every problem is an opportunity.  That is an adage I learned a long time ago.  When a crisis happens it always brings change.  Change is always good because it moves around the energy that is stale and allows for changes to occur that are natural.  All knowledge is the triumph over ignorance and superstition and to know that Change is good is a chance at freedom.

Like this drop of water about to drip from the stem, our lives are always on the precipice of change and this is where our soul can take flight if we don't fall foul to fear.

Neither 'concepts' nor 'mathematical formulae' can explain the infinite.”

~ Eckhart Tolle ~

IMG 2629
Looking out into the infinite at Urunga by the two rivers .. the Kalang and the Bellinger.

The key to full understanding is within.  This is the essence that sets us apart within situations.  This essence is produced by integrity and vitality in the heart.  It is our heart energy which we create from our personal selves that makes the difference.

I suppose that since most of our hurts come through relationships so will our healing, and I know that grace rarely makes sense for those looking in from the outside.

~ William P. Young ~

IMG 1564.1  Picture Windows
Front window of the Ocean View Hotel Urunga
I tend to think that all emotional hurt comes from a relational aspect or the abject lack of thus same.  Alone, we do not have the issues of relationship we do with others but being alone is  not without pain also.  All connections in the world are relational in nature.

When relationships fail, the fall out can be likened to an Atomic Bomb being let off.   The fall out from this can be far reaching.  The smoke blinds the foolish and the sound confused others, and the hole that is left is a pitfall for others.  If you happen to fall into the hole that is left behind and there sits a victim of the former relationship at the bottom of that hole, tread carefully with both eyes wide open.

You who are not kept anxiously awake for love's sake, sleep on.

by Rumi

Mary Sleeping
Mary Sleeping

You who are not kept anxiously awake for love's sake, sleep on.
In restless search for that river, we hurry along;
you whose heart such anxiety has not disturbed, sleep on.

Love's place is out beyond the many separate sects;
since you love choosing and excluding, sleep on.
Love's dawn cup is our sunrise, his dusk our supper;
you whose longing is for sweets and whose passion is for supper, sleep on.

In search of the philosopher's stone, we are melting like copper;
you whose philosopher's stone is cushion and pillow, sleep on.
I have abandoned hope for my brain and head; you who wish for
a clear head and fresh brain, sleep on.
I have torn speech like a tattered robe and let words go;
you who are still dressed in your clothes, sleep on.

Lift up your voice and be happy and dance, you still got a lot of living to do!

~ Archie Roach ~

IMG 9472 - The Emu Dance
Myself dancing in the Northern Territory

Every single day I have to remind myself of this fact.  I have to do it each day though because I am overcome with grief each day when I first wake and I have to work very hard to escape this.

This sort of grief can kill you.  It acts by drying up the love in  your heart.  I have to constantly work hard to cultivate the highest vibration of love to heal my broken heart myself.   Each day that I miss my kids in my life is like a death with no funeral and I fall down and I have to pull myself out each time.

I am not sure I will ever be used to this feeling and I have hope that this will change one day and we can all be a happy family again.

A big part of people getting sick has to do with holding onto pain and not letting it go.

~ Archie Roach ~

0094- Anangu Woman
I love the old people of the Northern Territory

Like Archie I let the pain take over my body and I got very very sick.  I was not well for sometime and almost lost my life from grief.

I had to learn to let go.  I am not a master of this and I may never be one either.  I loved my kids so much even before they were created in my belly.  I saw them in my imagination when I was tiny and I was more than overjoyed to become a mummy.  If they only knew how much they were loved and wanted.... all three of them.

"We are far more likely to be harmed by our fellow man than by our fellow animals, yet we call animals wild and dangerous and we call man advanced and civilized."

~ A.D. Williams    ~

IMG 9669 The Doberman
I love this doberman.

I was terrified of dogs until I got a dog of my very own.  There is a lot to be said from this experience of dog ownership.  They are very much like children and they require a lot of attention.

Owning a dog has showed me that people are usually terrified of that which they do not know.  Because, that which they do not know, they do not trust and when there is no trust then there is fear.

Fear is the number one factor that stops us doing anything and fulfilling our destiny.   If one was to say  fear was Evil then the opposite of this would be Love and all love is Godly.

To use your head you have to first go out of your mind.

~ Dr Timothy Leary ~

 IMG 9601.3

Timothy Leary is not alluding to going mad, he is alluding to getting out of the mundane with ones thinking.  Out of the worldly type of thinking that holds us from seeking higher things.

To seek the higher one has to go higher and when all that surrounds you is mundane then out of your mind you must go to reach these places where much higher thought processes are employed than what people usually adopt to make sense of the universe and all of its worlds.

'Good' is the presence of an inner understanding.  Growth improves the total nature of the human being and it becomes as a life's work unfolding the not so obvious into the obvious.

'Truth' is our protection and our buckler against the darkness of the world while we continue to push forward towards the light and towards the love.

All we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.

~ Edgar Alan Poe ~

It is a challenge for most to think this may have all occurred somewhere else before it has happened here with in our time frame within which we seemingly live within.  Governed by Chronus and we are born in time and in time we also die, and every birth is a death in the making and every death is a rebirth into a new life.

Some people feel the rain, others just get wet.

~ Bob Marley ~

 IMG 9099 Uncle Micky Ryan custodian is passionate and sat in the rain on the plateau at Lismore.

We all sat in the rain for a few days up on the plateau at Lismore.  There is an Aboriginal Embassy now and a sacred fire has been lit both on the mountain and down at the base.   This place is sacred and there are ancestors there, the local council have not taken notice of this and covered up the evidence in an attempt to push the development through.

This is in front of the courts now and I think the Lismore City Council will come out with egg on their faces,  Jenny should have supported these people and not turned her back on their plight.

Environmental conditions created cause these trees to all lean the same way.
Environmental conditions cause havoc with our emotions and the same in reverse.  Our mind state can play havoc with the weather.  I know this to be factual but others will say it is hog wash.  I have too much insight to think this would not be possible.

 I made a wonderful friend in Kathy, she is someone I feel very comfortable around. She reminds me of a mother ... well I should rephrase that because she is a mother and a grandmother also, but she is someone who I would want my mother to be like.   Yes, she is someone whom I can be myself around and not be afraid to do so.  I am very grateful for this.

Sometimes its all how you look at something that makes the difference
 The ancient scriptures tell us that as a man thinketh in his heart then so shall he be.  Another scholar said that where you spend your money or your time, this is your passion.  This is what contributes to the make up of who we are.  The institution of love is what we need more than any other covering over us while we are in existence in the mundane.

The mundane is worldly, earthly, profane, vulgar as opposed to heavenly (heofonlic-Middle English)
