In all of the years that I have lived in this area near to these two rivers the Kalang and the Bellinger I have sadly seen a few deaths from drowning from swimming in the flooded rivers.  The rivers show no mercy and it is the most foolish thing to attempt.

In other words what Aesop is saying here is it takes a lot more than fine apparel to make the person of substance.  The cloths do not maketh the man and many people are overlooked because of their lack of fashion sense which should not be how people are picked and some people definitely need guidance.

If you look poor you get no service, we have proven this time and time again.  I bought a car once in bare feet from Cardiff Toyota in Newcastle.  I did this on purpose and had the cash in my pocket to purchase a vehicle.  No one came near us though, then a cripple salesman hobbled over.  He got the sale and his colleagues were like what the?

I found photography again because of my pain, because I felt I had to hide all of the time and a lens is a safe thing to hide behind of and it gives a feeling of security.

Its not a child's hand but it does have to be taken care of ...  the camera and the equipment and so far so good because I have lost nothing or ruined anything.  The second hand lens that I use a lot is not performing very well anymore and it may be time to update this in the future.

A Department Office at Strawberry Hills Sydney NSW

In welfare in Australia, more definitively Family and Community Services FACS who were previously known as DoCs or the Department of Community Services is full of text book people who have not lived a life and learned any of the lessons these people are the attempting to teach others and it is ineffective without wisdom age.   What they do allows the government to employ people who have no actual empathy and therefore there is no heart wisdom attached to their actions concerning children.  There is an almost urgent need for this department to cease with this behavior, simply because they are children.

It is such an ineffective department, and it appears that there is no fairness involved with their so called procedures.  I have studied child development and a child responds very different to how they teach these people to respond. 

The response alone is abuse.  The taking of children from their parents and locking them in paddy wagons with wet nappies and no food or a bottle to console them is not care. 

Then the department adopts policies around the gradual re-introduction of children to parents who are clearly fine to be with their children, this is ludicrous treatment of the situation and a waste of funds.  I base this on the fact there is no gradual introduction to foster carers and therefore why is it the other way around when they establish there is no issue.  This sort of treatment is unfair and unjust.

The time I spend alone in the morning awake is precious to me.  I remember when I felt it was a curse and it was unusual.  Now I would not swap this time to another at all.  The stars are shining when I wake and I wait and say goodbye as the sky lightens and turns wonderful colours and the dawn arrives.

This is my special time with the planet and with the great creator spirit.  I feel the life in the dawn and I feel the energy pick up momentum when the sun arrives.
