Fire demands respect

I was burned quite badly in the 1980's in an explosion and the burns gave me a respect for fire like no other.

In all of the years that I have lived in this area near to these two rivers the Kalang and the Bellinger I have sadly seen a few deaths from drowning from swimming in the flooded rivers.  The rivers show no mercy and it is the most foolish thing to attempt.
