The struggle of people today in every faith and creed is almost always humans who are searching for the a personal experience of reality. They are seeking to come to understand themselves, to find the reason for their own existence.
These ones are looking for that balm of Gilead that was promised to them. Very few have reached the goal they sought, many thought they had reached a goal that they thought they sort but, it was illusory and their search continued.
Peace in our hearts, peace in our family lives, peace in our governments, peace in our street, we are still searching for that mysterious integrity which alone can bind up the errors of society.
There is an inconsistency in this. It is this: the individual is seeking something better without actually becoming better himself. There is no need to go around depriving ourselves of everything
To be still is to know to obey. We don't actually know there are laws until we break them. Man only gets into trouble when he does it wrong and that is the moment self interest takes over
Peacefully, we should be doing the things that must be done in peace
