  1. The assumption in the above quote is that there is such a thing as 'a perfect man.' Because that is false, it stands to reason that the remainder of the quote is false. Sounds good, but is nonetheless false.

    1. I doubt whether Chung Tzu intended this to be read as a literal perfect man. That doesn't fit with his philosophy at all.
