Today is the day that Brice is finally 50. So it gives me great pleasure to be the first and perhaps only one to wish him Happy Birthday and to tell him how blessed we are to have him in our life.

We can safely call him old man now.  I know only too well how much of a huge milestone this is for him.  Its not easy to come up with inventive ideas to be free of the power the past has over us in our daily lives if we let it.  Brice has excelled at carrying this out to a large degree.  He is a good person. He is trustworthy and thoughtful.  He knows his strengths and weaknesses.  He knows the risks attached to being him.  Happy Birthday Bricee .. thank you for being real in my life.  Thank you for giving me a chance to be real as well.  I wish you all the good things one can desire for the coming year ahead.
