"At this stage I can offer nothing more than my word"

~ Edward Snowden ~

IIMG 9831 Writing down the Registration #'s

At every stage this is all I have ever been able to offer (my word).  I have stood up for myself since I was Thirteen and although others have amassed great wealth in materialistic form over their lifetime since those days, I still only have my word.  This complicates the world when others around me don't keep theirs, I don't know how to be.

“Genius is pain.”

~ John Lennon ~

IMG 7658
Sheer Genius.....
It was a stroke of genius to go and stand with signs about the state of the mining in this country as often as possible on the Pacific Highway on the bridge at Urunga NSW.   It sparked things to action and it sparked the Great Highway Protest.  It surely must be said that this is fact because I had said many times,  "Just pick up your signs and go to the nearest highway and stand where you are because this problem is Australia wide".    I said this because for a lot of us it is all we can do.  We need to speak out where we are to the people we see on the daily.

What has come of standing on the side of the road with signs makes me feel warm that others noticed and thought it was a great idea (genius).

Alas genius is pain.  It isn't easy to stand for hours with a sign high above your head, your arms ache.  They ache more the next day.    The genius of this brilliance  was a great deal of pain when a passing car threw a bottle at my exposed head.  Yes John Lennon, genius is indeed pain, I agree.

"Every man is guilty of all the good he did not do!"

~ Voltaire ~

We remembered the Frontier Wars ... There are many who find this all too hard to deal with.  I have no issue in seeing the truth of what happened.  The British came here and killed the people of this land in what could not be termed anything but WAR!  The people took up their spears and woomeras and their waddies and set about to protect the only way they knew how when they witnessed the cold blooded murders of their clan groups.  The east coast has been at war since those days, people are still fighting against genocide, today in 2016.

We didn't forget.
For the Frontier Wars of Australia
Anzac Day Deepwater NSW.   We laid a specific wreath in Aboriginal flag colours for all those who died in what has become known as "Australia's Frontier Wars".

When the British invaded this great land, it was indeed a war.   It was the filthiest kind of war.  War with no rules.  Murder and rape were ordered by the crown. Genocide is what this country Australia was built on.  Many say the "Sheep's Back" but it was the Black mans back it was built upon.
With out making friendships with the original people - the British would have perished. For the life of me I cannot understand how people see it any different.

This war still rages today.  Those incarcerated feel it on the daily.  Aboriginal people represent the highest group of people incarcerated.

My father served in Korea, he was on the ship "HMAS Arunta", named after the Arrente indigenous people from the Northern Territory. Two ships have been commissioned with this same name.  My father was on the first of these ships.

The Arrernte people marched with people from that ship or people representing them in the march around 11am in Sydney. The parade was a live telecast.

There is a dark side to everything. ~ PRINCE ~

IMG 4582

Sadly the news broke today that our beloved PRINCE... Prince Rogers Nelson  (June 7, 1958 – April 21, 2016) passed away.  He was sick with the flu.  The music industry's most illustrious artists are all commenting this morning, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Obama has tweeted also.

Prince was a Gemini, a trend setter, a dilettante, a beautiful giving soul ... we have lost so many of the precious musicians already in this year of 2016.  A friend said it has not been a good year for musicians, I tend to agree.

I never get past the lyric in the song "When Doves Cry" about the butterflies being tied up with out giving a whimper.  It just came on the radio and I turned it up and shed tears.

Sadly missed from this mortal world.  Man, it must be a jam session that rivals all jam sessions where all these guys have gone too.   I just hope my Texsy is enjoying all the musicians who are keeping her company in paradise.

Adversity tempers the steel of the human soul making it strong in emergencies!

IMG 3308.1
Where the rubber meets the road.

Our initiation takes place over these three parts, the body, the heart and the mind. Purification of thought, of pride and of worldly values.

I have found there is great value in the simple life detached from things worldly.  I am not fussed by the standards put forth where lies are replacing truth.  I simply refuse to play.  Sometimes this is more than just a walk in the park.

One example of this is my attitude to water.  When it rains harvest the rain water into buckets.  I get soaked to the skin doing this so I am saving for a tank. On the daily, I collect as much grey water from the house  as I can humanly manage and I carry those buckets to the garden.  It is heavy and its awkward, yes it is adversity on a tiny scale.  The lesson here is that 'Water' is precious and it should not be wasted.  We pay the Shire Council for water so there is a double barrell reason to use it wisely and not just let it flow down the drain to the land of forgetfulness.

Sit quietly somewhere when the day is done and examine in great retrospect on the day and its events.  Both the joyful and the adverse.  Do this for the year and at the time of  death, examine the life and what it has  unselfishly learned on the souls journey this time around.

Scripture discusses being a "Good Steward".  It quotes,"Be a good steward over the little things and greater things will be added to you".  I feel confident those words are the similar words of someone who may have passed on knowledge and wisdom - perhaps at one of the ancient schools of learning, Pythagoras, Aristotle, Hypatia, Plato.  Any one of these would have urged the same thing for it is working with nature not subduing nature where our true power lies.

There is always more to learn.... listen to :  The Solar Christmas by Manly Palmer Hall

Earth is Red n Sky is blue and on World Heritage Day we love you!

WORLD HERITAGE DAY .....In reality it should be 'World Heritage Day' EVERYDAY .... Word! It's a sham because it shouldn't be just an allotted day of the year to care.  It's like it emulates a Roman religious holiday for the so called saints.

Our Home :
"Earth is red N sky is blue ... and on world heritage day, we LovE 'you'."

"Caring for earth is caring for yourself as both are an extension of each other equal in importance for balance and life".
.
These days the bringing of such things down to days, a day for this and a day for that is akin to the fake roman religious holidays dedicated to this and that emulating even more ancient festivals which were celebrating our divinity and connection of who we are, and where we are, and why, and then where we are going.

If you can survive on the least amount your society pegs then you can safely say you are well prepared for situations where scarcity is agenda of an entire society.

Many say a situation like this is imminent and that when the proverbial does hit the fan, those who walk among us who are not used to going without will perish very quickly.  There are a lot of survivors out there on the planet who have been prepared for this since birth.  Stay safe.

IMG 5234 Jupiter and Venus
The Night Sky above my home.

When I wake up very early and its still dark, the first place I look is at the stars.  I have a habit of making a coffee and rolling a cigarette and just sitting and watching the sky.  Lately I have seen falling stars.  Approaching meteor shower at the end of this month of April.

While I sit in the dark I ponder all the things I would like to do.  If I am making a basket, I ponder it and future baskets.  Lately, its been dream catchers and woven fences that I dream about.  So I am now weaving fences.

IMG 8006 Bloody Monday at Glenugie

A lot of people realize they love our planet Earth.  It is the big mother that sustains us all. Without this planet we call home there would be no people.

People across the planet are amassing.  They are ready to let this kill them in every way.  They are past caring about the fines, the court cases, the endless drama of security guards protecting the lying corporations who are responsible for KILLING OUR WATER..

We should all be prepared to die for the health of the world when the choices are money or health.
