There is nothing new under the Sun.

Eternity is a very very long time and many life times are usually traveled before we do finally learn all the lessons we need for an eternity as a spirit.  We are an integral part of the universe. 

'There is nothing new under the sun', is what I usually say.   Although each life time we traverse may be a different era and in a different time, the lessons will always be the same until we work it out.
