Knowledge is learning something every day. Wisdom is letting go of something every day.

I guess a lot of that type of thinking happens in a place like this,  one would like to learn from their mistakes, however the system is not set up to allow one to leave the past behind.  There is so much legislation tying us all up even the most pious amongst us are challenged to not break the myriad of law that has bound the people to the point of madness.

I feel sad for my brothers and sisters who are under the tyranny of the United States Government and their obvious attitude to people of the planet.  Their paradigm is closing in on them and it can go no where else but to implode and when that happens these words may well pass away forever.

The hours I have spent writing to leave something behind for my children could all disappear in a moment of time.  We live in precarious times.

IMG 2338 Another Australian Shame - Tara Gas Hub QLD.
Obvious contamination of the land in this area surrounding this well head.

This is more than an injustice, this is an absolute assault on the entire area and this have been duplicated right across Australia largely with out the attention of the Australian public.  I call it the "Silent War".

So far in my life time this seems to be one of the cruelest things to have been thrust upon the people of Australia and the ecocide on the environment has been enormous and we are only now lifting the lid of the exact enormity of this.  God Save us All.

I didn't even wrestle the pig and I still got very hurt in the back of my head this day and I saw too much granny chucking for my liking, and these guys are sent in by mining companies to do their dirty work of thrusting this filth onto the environment with no social license to do so.

Bentley Star

 ~  Mary-Ellen Peters ~

IMG 8334
A Star at Bentley
I would like to reach out
just catch a star
and

fly high and so so far
Just reaching out hanging on the coat-tails of a star.
Astarte!
Yep! its a start hey...
Let me see Stellar
Let me tell her....
Her mountains reach up like arms to heaven
Taking the cup from those that gave them
Releasing waves of love
Crashing the shores of our hearts
Touching the distance and dragging it closer
Pulling us in tight
inside of that Formosan light
The filament of sacrament was never extinguished
Relinquished or vanquished..
That light was bent see
WOW! its turned up at Bentley!
I went see and I know
That the guardian watchers grow
In number and height
Such it was simply because love is colourful and bright
and
While I sail on beams across the sky ..
I long for the time when once again we all will fly.
M Peters.

Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.

~ Dalai Lama ~

IMG 7912
Coloured bug didn't realize how photogenic he was.

I heard a story once about good luck and bad luck and who knows what is good luck and what is bad luck. It was told by Kerry Riley of the Mind Powers Course in Brisbane in the 1980's.  The story impacted me a great deal and I looked around and found a copy of the story as told below:
There once was a simple farmer who lived and struggled alongside his neighbours and friends, trying to exist and fulfil a peaceful life. One day news arrived from far away, that his old loving father had died. His neighbours gathered to grieve, but the farmer simply said, “Bad luck? Good luck? Who knows?”
In time relatives brought a very fine horse of great cost and fine breeding, left to the farmer by his father. All the villagers and neighbours gathered in delight with him to celebrate his good fortune, but he just said, “Bad luck? Good luck? Who knows?”
One day the horse escaped into the hills and when all the farmer’s neighbours sympathized with the old man over his bad luck, the farmer replied, “Bad luck? Good luck? Who knows?”
A week later the horse returned with a herd of wild horses from the hills and this time the neighbours congratulated the farmer on his good luck. His reply was, “Good luck? Bad luck? Who knows?”
Then, when the farmer’s son was attempting to tame one of the wild horses, he fell off its back and broke his leg. Everyone thought this very bad luck. Not the farmer, whose only reaction was, “Bad luck? Good luck? Who knows?”
Some weeks later the army marched into the village and conscripted every able-bodied youth they found there. When they saw the farmer’s son with his broken leg they let him off. Now was that good luck? Bad luck? Who knows?
An ancient Chinese story as told by  Anthony de Mello in The Song of the Bird

This same story is also found with slight variations in Tao: The Watercourse Way  by Alan Watts. What follows is Alan Watts’s short comment on the story:
The yin-yang view of the world is serenely cyclic. Fortune and misfortune, life and death, whether on small scale or vast, come and go everlastingly without beginning or end, and the whole system is protected from monotony by the fact that, in just the same way, remembering alternates with forgetting. This is the Good of good-and-bad.  From A-MUSED

It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere.

~ Voltaire  ~

IMG 7942 Chemtrails / Mt George
Chemtrails is a hot issue a large percentage of people don't want to accept as a reality because it blows their world view.
I like to re-tell this similar story along the lines of what Jesus did when he cast out the demons into the pigs and sent the pigs over the cliff to their demise, a story in the Gospels.  Some of those people who wanted the demons gone ran frantically after them and grabbed their pig because they didn't want to lose their pig.  They meaning to this is quite clearly when a solution is shown to them they would prefer to be victims and they love their problem.

It is both a blessing and a curse to feel so deeply.

~ Unknown   ~

IMG 8427 Early Sun in Urunga
Urunga at dawn under the spirit trees

Sit with a tree
Let the tree become me
and
me become the tree

The two become true
and disappear
While still standing near

Dropping leaves like tears always
and new life returns
After a fiery strife
From  a dry and parched life.

Spirit moves
The ground below soothes the pas
The lightening strikes of misguided dislikes
With left over spikes

Those wood bees on the far right
Who duck for cover
Outta sight
as they attempt to unscrew any sands that are tight.

I am here in the first light
and
I am spoiling from my toiling
The boys sing "I want this fight"
"I want to set this issue alight"

And so I desire us to get on with it
We desist from contrite acts of greediness
And see the parts
she's played in this.   M Peters

I am not comfortable with the tack of "Informative Text" as apposed to "Critical Thinking".  I feel that we are hurtling towards extinction if we give up our minds completely over to this type of thinking.  This is not a humanity acting out of its true power, instead it is a humanity on death row if we let them stop our free thinking.

"The free soul is rare, but you know it when you see it - basically because you feel good, very good, when you are near or with them."

~ Charles Bukowski ~

I feel awesome when I am with Kathy, good people help your self worth!
Some one once said if you lay down with dogs you will get up with fleas.   This is true and on the otherside of the coin there is this adage,  "If you hang out with positive people you will feel much better in your own self".

This is because positive people discuss positive things instead of  concentrating on how bad things are and rehashing old pain and suffering.

This is the key to success if you are trying to break free of this sort of negativity.   Look at who and look at what is feeding your mind first and dutifully make much needed changes there first.

Bellingen Mosaic - reminds me of being fit and healthy.

If you keep your mind active you are more apt to be healthy.  I think this occurs because we don't think about what is wrong and therefore we don't add any energy to the situation.

Living in harmony is what they have kept us away from for the last 2000 years plus so they we became great cattle to herd and make money for the greedy elite.

When a man no longer confuses himself with the definition of himself that others have given him, he is at once universal and unique.

~ Alan Watts ~

I have to forget the definitions of the idiots

On a good day I can forget for a little while.   Then I go to sleep and when I wake up I am at my most vulnerable,  I hate the tears when I wake up each day.   I wonder will they ever stop on their own.  Do I have to say,  "I don't care anymore"?

How does a mother do this?   My children have me tarred now with a brush I can no longer escape and its like being in a tiny box again and I feel so trapped.  Sometimes I feel I can't breath, but everyday I do get stronger,  I just don't want to recognize this because of what it equates to for me.

They say the spirit will know because the spirit is part of the all and the all is all there is.

I had a black cat when I was four years old and the same cat just keeps coming back to me in other bodies,  this is Sooty and before Sooty was Boree and before Boree was Rhastus.

Rhastus's spirit was the one which was shining through continuously.   My protector and my friend, he tried to stop the strap from hurting my legs so badly when I was belted each day with the strap.  They took him away from me and I was severely saddened by this at seven years old.
