If you want to be treated with respect then you first have to treat others with respect.  One cannot demand respect,  one has to earn another's respect.   If a person trusts too quickly they could be making a grave mistake and because they trusted they are now experiencing a tremendous amount of grief.  Check how you treat people or further to this look at how people are treating you.  What does all of this tell you?
