The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.

~ Mahatma Gandhi ~

Children Spaces

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi born October 1869 was the pre-eminent political and ideological leader of India during the Indian Independence movement. He pioneered the use of non-violent resistance to tyranny through mass civil disobedience, a tool to fight for civil rights and freedom for which he is internationally renowned. Gandi is most often referred to as "Mahatma" meaning great soul.

He was imprisoned for many years, upon many occasions,in both South Africa and India. Gandhi strove to practice non-violence and truth in all situations, and advocated that others do the same. He lived modestly in a self-sufficient residental community and wore the traditional Indian dhoti and shawl woven with yarn he had handspun himself. Ghandi ate simple vegetarian food and took long fasts as means of both self-purification and social protest.

Gandhi was assassinated on January 30, 1948 by Nathuram Godse, a Hindu nationalist who felt that Gandhi was sympathetic to Muslims.

There is no place for little minds in a great work.”

~ Manly Palmer Hall ~
 The Honorary Mason

0598 The Dioese

“The true Mason is not creed-bound. He realizes with the divine illumination of his lodge that as Mason his religion must be universal: Christ, Buddha or Mohammed, the name means little, for he recognizes only the light and not the bearer. He worships at every shrine, bows before every altar, whether in temple, mosque or cathedral, realizing with his truer understanding the oneness of all spiritual truth. All true Masons know that they only are heathen who, having great ideals, do not live up to them. They know that all religions are but one story told in divers ways for peoples whose ideals differ but whose great purpose is in harmony with Masonic ideals. North, east, south and west stretch the diversities of human thought, and while the ideals of man apparently differ, when all is said and the crystallization of form with its false concepts is swept away, one basic truth remains: all existing things are Temple Builders, laboring for a single end. No true Mason can be narrow, for his Lodge is the divine expression of all broadness. There is no place for little minds in a great work.”

“Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”

~ Dr Seuss ~

Happy 22nd Birthday Matilda - Sunshine Katherine Baldwin.  I cannot give you anything except my love. However,  the universe has provided for you a Virgo Full Moon, to boot Mercury is in Retrograde.  This is a gift of time.  This time has all the attributes of finding special family healing.  I will love you for eternity as my spirit expands out into the universe I will carry with me the essence of what was and what will be.

Whatever it is that troubles you with me, it is time to face this for yourself and for others , not just for me.  Life is a wonderful journey and I miss seeing the footprints that you leave here on the Earth.

MANTRA (Hawaiian)HO'OPONOPONO

I LOVE YOU
I AM SORRY
PLEASE FORGIVE ME
THANK YOU.
Repeat constantly, not directed anywhere in particular, although you may offer it to the Divine, or your/others inner child. The energy and vibration of these words have the power to heal and cleanse all levels, in all directions of time and space.
These are true 'words of power'.
Somehow they connect with whatever needs their energy to heal, within us and others, and we do not even need to know what or how for it to be effective.

Following, is another reputedly very powerful cleansing prayer. The intention is to cleanse any blocks and resistances, known and unknown, to the manifestation of our good, and to clear the way for positive inspiration and manifestation.

This prayer has great healing power. In Ho'oponopono, a person assumes 100% responsibility for their reality (with NO sense of self blame). They know that what they have created, they can change, for accepting responsibility means accepting power.

Nothing is ever anyone else's fault. To change experience/reality there is only ever one thing to work on...one's self. You may direct the following prayer to your god/dess, an experience, your past lives, any part of yourself or anyone else..to your cat, dog, or even your car...it may not make sense to your Conscious mind, but your deep mind (subconscious/super-conscious) really gets it. It can be instant, or a gradual process. Either way, it works.

MORRNAH'S PRAYER (Hawaiian Shaman)

Divine creator, father, mother, son as one...If I, my family, relatives and ancestors have offended you, your family, relatives and ancestors in thoughts, words, deeds and actions from the beginning of our creation to the present, we ask your forgiveness...Let this cleanse, purify, release, cut all the negative memories, blocks, energies and vibrations, and transmute these unwanted energies into pure light....And it is done.

Moderation is the secret to Survival.

~ Manly Palmer Hall ~

IMG_5904
Aye,  that it is lassie.  Moderation is something that will serve us well.  The human body is very resilient as it has so many back doors for re routing messages through our body so as to adapt.  The loss of a limb for instance.  The entire body is effected here and the entire body would have to come to terms with the loss.  The other arm becomes stronger, writing is even possible.

Just shows how wonderful we are.  But that type of stress leaves holes in us and its those holes we have to be concerned with.

Moderation in food, exercise, light and love.  A nice mix of these in moderation should keep one relatively in sync with the world and disease free mostly.
Moderation
Moderation (Photo credit: Bunches and Bits {Karina})
Keeping it going and not stopping is the key also,  as nothing in nature stops by itself.  Even in death everything is breaking down and  moving still until it is once again joined to the creator through the vibration of the soil if buried or in the ether if cremated.

Plant lots of trees like you will live forever,  carry on regardless I guess is the plan.  Travel and love and say goodbye in peace.

A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.
Greek Proverb

The end of science is not to prove a theory, but to improve mankind.   Manly Hall

A big ship is steered by a small rudder.   Yes I am speaking of the tongue and our speech.  Our speech is important as it holds many incredible secrets to sound and vibration with language and personality.

The initiate in ancient times, would be taken to learn how sound is so important.  Music and astronomy and mathematics  and poetry were all very important and science then was to help man not kill man.

Conflict cannot survive without your participation.

~ Wayne Dyer ~
 IMG 8981 On the beach
If I continue to take myself out of their way of conflict then I cannot be apart of this.  It is all in their minds.  The entire thing is held only in the mind.

There is no separation between us and the planet,  the only place there is separation is in the mind once again.  It is the mind that will keep us separated from our most vital source.

Why try to explain miracles to your children when you can just plant them.

Robert Brault

IMG 4764 The Bees in my Garden
Watching the miracle of life in the garden explains so much to a small child who has a lot of questions.  Let them plant seeds and watch them grow.  It is a most rewarding time  with children as you answer their myriad of questions.

My garden was always a special place for me and my children when they were younger.  I will always treasure the times I spent there with them.    I get such a great feeling from this, I just wish I could tell them about this now.  I can only hope they introduce a garden to their children to explain the miracles of nature.

The process of photographing what is directly infront of you is beneficial to artistic growth.

Get to know your own back yard before getting to know others.

In the  dawn light I admire this spectacular giant in my street.
For me this is how it is.  I do not venture very far from home normally and so my photography to a large degree is in my neighborhood and what is directly in front of me each day.   I feel that I can become more intimate with the area though the medium of photography.

It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit.

 ~ Robert Louis Stevenson ~

Did you know that trees communicate with each other?   They don't speak as we humans do, but they do communicate and alert other neighboring trees if they are besieged by insects.   Forty years ago in 1970's, researchers studied this phenomena in willows and poplars.

Trees infested with insects  produce an excess of chemicals in the leaves. These chemicals  reduce the nutritional value of the leaves for the marauding insects.  As well as lessening the nutritive value these chemicals also warn other trees that are close by, there is danger afoot.  When these other trees sense the warning,  they too begin to produce the same chemicals, defending themselves from the impending attack.  These chemicals are similar to hormones in humans,  which cause us to  emit a scent for a variety of different reasons.   Not all of these scents can be picked up on by everyone which makes this a very interesting subject for study.

Still other studies have shown that neighboring trees have emotion and feel when another tree is hurt by a human or loses a bough.  EEG machines have been attached to show proof of this fact.  Trees are not just large plants.  They too possess a spirit and they resonate a vibration of love and health.
Say hi to a tree today as you pass by under its boughs, simply look up and say hi.  The tree will know you care.

Of all man's works of art, a cathedral is greatest. A vast and majestic tree is greater than that.

~ Henry Ward Beecher~

SAM 8033 Sheer Greatness
 Some exciting tree facts:
  1. Trees receive an estimated 90% of their nutrition from the atmosphere and only 10% from the soil.

  2. Trees grow from the top, not from the bottom as is commonly believed. A branch's location on a tree will only move up the trunk a few inches in 1000 years.
No tree dies of old age. They are generally killed by insects, disease or by people. California Bristlecone Pines and Giant Sequoias are regarded as the oldest trees and have been known to live 4,000 to 5,000 years.

  3. There are about 20,000 tree species in the world. The United States has one of the largest tree treasuries second only to India.

  4. The largest area of forest in the tropics remains the Amazon Basin, amounting to 81.5 million acres.

  5. Arbor Day was first observed in Nebraska in 1872. That state is now home to one of the world's largest forests planted by people - over 200,000 acres of trees.

  6. Some trees can "talk" to each other. When willows are attacked by webworms and caterpillars, they emit a chemical that alerts nearby willow of the danger. The neighboring trees then respond by pumping more tannin into their leaves making it difficult for the insects to digest the leaves.

  7. Knocking on wood for good luck originated from primitive tree worship when rapping on trees was believed to summon protective spirits in the trees.

  8. Trees can induce rainfall by cooling the land and transpiring water into the sky from their leaves. An acre of maple trees can put as much as 20,000 gallons of water into the air each day.

  9. The most massive living thing on earth is the Giant Sequoia in the Redwood Forest of California. It stands nearly 30 stories tall and 82.3 feet in circumference. Its weight is estimated at 2,756 tons.

  10. In Arnold, California, a tree still stands with a legible inscription carved into it in 1849 by pioneers blazing paths to California during the Gold Rush. The inscription reads "49 Road."

What did the tree learn from the earth to be able to talk with the sky?

That is a very serious question.  Trees are amazing and they are communicators .

Expectation is the root of all heartache.

William Shakespeare...

IMG 5697 My moon above the wire
Some how I expected that children would have their parents in their lives.  At least one parent would have been good.  Here are my parents at the Killarney Show with my Grandparents.
On the 17the February both these people were born.  This is my parents and my father is three years older than my mum.  They have both passed away.  My father passed away when I was 12 years old and my mother sadly passed from this world to the next when I was 43 years old and I had only just begun to know who she was.  I sort of knew my dad and I had a nickname for him and that was "Soredaddy" and that was because I only knew him in a wheel chair.

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream

IMG 8865 Just before the dark moon...

Is there a school where you can study everything?  Well the kind of study I would like to do.  Something that connects everything I love into one great big subject just for me.   I am in it am I not?   I am part of life and this is the school of which I am a part of now.  Once though there were ancient mystery schools where the secrets of the universe were conversed and discussed and adhered to.

I would love to study language / the etymology of words fascinate me.  Ancient Hebrew would be high on the list as is Phoenician.  I would love to further my knowledge of the Hermetica.  The ancient wisdom those of our ancient forebears attested to, knowledge from the Gods themselves.  I would study Photography for fun.

I would also like to write in a  more interesting way than just basic communication.  I feel that my creative writing has waned a lot of recent.  I blame basic communication for this. No attention to detail because no one has time for detail.  Well I will have to change this.

The purpose of life is to be happy.

~ Dalai Lama ~
IMG 8839 Dawn is chasing the stars away..
Getting up to greet the dawn and say goodbye to the stars is something that makes me happy.  For as long as I can remember I have loved to watch these great celestial beings and the movements across the sky.
I love the mightiness of nature and how she wields her mighty power as a living breathing entity.  I see in humanity all the correlations of the total universe unfolding like a desert flower in the night.
We are connected to these entities in the skies above us.  Night time is the only time you can see them.  Day time has the sun but night time as a magnificent array of energies that we need to partake of at certain times of the celestial calendar.
We should do this for our energetic and magnetic health.  Humanity needs to take its shoes off.
