The Full Moon over the River in October 2o12

Who was this great Chief who said such wisdom.  A man with obvious insight into the divinity of us all.  The microcosm of the macrocosm of nature and humanity and the universe that holds it all.

Chief Dan George, (July 24, 1899 – September 23, 1981) was a chief of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation, a Coast Salish band located on Burrard Inlet in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He was also an author, poet, actor, and an Officer of the Order of Canada. At the age of 71, he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in Little Big Man.
