 'But I warn you, there will come a time when the sons of your sons will forget this. Then hunger and sorrow will return to the world.' She shook her head. 'It will not end until - unless - their grandchildren learn once more this lesson - the only lesson that is worth remembering: how to love and respect the Earth.'

Everything is connected to everything else and the bees are so important for the regeneration of our plants all over the world.  I took this pic yesterday when I was out in the garden. 

The lettuce flowers are a place of delight for the bees of all varieties as they load up big to go home.   This a great reason to let the spent plants run to seed.  The bees and other insects probably think it is heaven and in return they will fertilize my plants.
