The first of June is the first of Winter here in Australia.

The southern hemisphere of the planet enjoys Winter as my northern friends now embrace their summer. I don't mind winter as long as I am warm. I love winter activities and days in the garden. Walks on the beach at night and fires again at the beach to watch the stars at night.
So Winter is here again for 2012 and this signals the beginning also of a procession of galactic events occurring in the night sky above us. Partial eclipse on June 4th and Venus is going before the sun on June 6th. During this time things will get hairy weather wise as the sun continues to emit CME's at a rapid rate.
