I am pretty sentimental about the hill behind the trees there barely visible in this image but there none the less and clearly if you look for it.  That is Pickett Hill. 

This hill seems to be visible in so many of my shots.  I look out my front door and I can see it.  I go to the beaches around here and I can see it.  That's pretty grand I think. 

I have been told that it is a Sacred aboriginal site for men initiation rites.  and no woman are to go there.  That is absolutely fine because I don't intend to.  But it is just captivating how it is so visible from all these vantage points.  This means it was very spectacular in its importance on a spiritual level.

This morning so early still at dawn as the sun was rising the hill took on a beautiful blue hue.  It was quite beautiful to see as well as watching the dawning sun.
