“I'm not crying because of you; you're not worth it. I'm crying because my delusion of who you were was shattered by the truth of who you are.”

~ Steve Mariboli ~

Jesse David William Baldwin at 1 day old

We are all on our own journey and who am I too question why things are the way they are.  If this is what is meant to be to be the lesson we all need then so be it.  It takes two to tango and there is a lesson for the other person also.  Nothing is without consequence.

"All things began in order, so shall they end, and so shall they begin again." -

~ Sir Thomas Browne ~

Browne's discourse is a Neoplatonic and Neopythagorean vision of the interconnection of art and nature via the inter-related symbols of the number five and the quincunx pattern, along with the figure X and the lattice design

Concerning aboriginal art ...

Art is like all Aboriginal art in that it relates specifically to the artist dreaming and to the country where that Dreaming lives.  It is important to note that while the Dreaming is concerned with ancestors and myth, for individual Aboriginals it is a vital and living force whose presence is clearly seen in the landscape of the Country.

"People just love nature and are drawn to the experience of sitting with and depicting the extraordinary detail and beauty of flowers."

A flower at the Fernmount Cemetary.

I was amazed with the exquisite detail these flowers displayed.  They were in a country grave yard.  I took as many shots as I could possibly manage.  I thought they were very special.

It is discouraging to leave the past behind only to see it coming toward you like the thunderstorm which drenched you yesterday.

Jesse first day of school

I believe I chose the life story I have in a far off distant ancient time.  We all choose our parents and therefore none of us can emit any blame for any thing,  we knew before we came.  I knew before I came that I would be abandoned and hurt.  But inside of that hurt there is learning and who among us can say what the length of a persons life should or should not be.  Its one of those 6/9 situations.

Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers, but to be fearless in facing them. Let me not beg for the stilling of my pain, but for the heart to conquer it.

In the dark of the night I often cry out for help to still my sadness.  I become so overwhelmed by my grief and I suffer alone in the dark as the tears push and shove their way out of my eyes.  I promise myself every night before I fall asleep that I won't be upset when I wake up.  So, it appears I will be waking up this way until my last breath is drawn.  Its not easy being brave in situations like this.  I don't want my kids to suffer unnecessarily. But they are the ones with the stubborn uncaring spirits so it appears suffering their own karma is all that will enlighten their spirit in the end.   It is out of mans care now and in the care of the Gods.

I like to be prepared.  So that I am never caught short, I am always sure of where I travel to.  If I were to be stuck at that place unable to come home I would like to be happy where I am.  So I usually don't go too far.
