Bliss n Eso Coastal Kids 2010

Today it is five sleeps till the Bliss N Eso concert in Coff's Harbour.  I guess it is easy to tell that I am very very excited at this prospect!

Once again our area is  hit with wild weather here on the coast. 

So wild in fact they closed the local Primary School a couple of days ago.  They did this because they thought the serious storm cell that was approaching was going to cross the coast in this area so an evacuation was organised swiftly.

At the entrance to the walk out to the beach looking towards the heads with the storm clouds rolling in fast.  We high tailed it home shortly after this as it started to pour down.

Bliss N Eso Rescheduled to 2nd July

Bliss n Eso reshedule Coffs Harbour concert..

On the 12th June Bliss N Eso were about to take the stage in Coffs Harbour on the last leg of their Running on Air Tour.. thanks Bliss n Eso

The weather turned so bad that the whole thing was abandoned.

This is a rare thing for these guys!  They made a special guest appearance at the Hoey Moey where the After Party was going ahead ... this was an unplanned treat to the fans! 

Montana grasping her beloved Bliss n Eso Ticket.. she knew it would be cancelled but she went to the gate in hope anyway.  Only to have to get back home wet.. She is still sick!  Teenagers are funny.

On Wednesday 15th June Bliss N Eso announced the new show date and it is the 2nd July 2011..

Hell Yeah .. I will be twisting every time they hit town.

Bliss n Eso postpone Coffs Harbour show

Bliss n Eso have been forced to postpone the Coffs Harbour leg of their massive national tour.
The hip hop outfit were due to perform at Coffs Harbour Showgrounds on Sunday June 12 but extreme weather in the area meant the show had to be moved to another date.

Promoters Illusive Entertainment released a statement on Sunday advising fans of the change.
Ticket holders are asked to retain their tickets as these will be valid for the rescheduled concert which we hope will be held in the next 4 weeks with an announcement on the rescheduled date expected by Wednesday June 15. If patrons are unable to attend the rescheduled date, full refunds will be available from point of purchase.
triple j will have all the details regarding the rescheduled Coffs Harbour show as soon as they come through.

NATURE WELCOMES IN WINTER 2011

With the beginning of Winter each year my birthday is heralded into reality with all sorts of surprises. This year was no exception. The weather has been quite squally and wild the last couple of days, this was a surprise indeed.

Tensions have been high for 18 months and this isn't easing with the ushering in of the new season! If only the seasons in our lives could have a calendar and not allowed to stagnate but must change with everything else!
